From the time it showed up at the door baby boy was in love.  He carries it around the house and plays with it all day.  The first thing I noticed about it was the cute packaging and all you parents out their will love this.  It did not take me an hour to get it out of the box.  You all know that is one of my pet peeves when it takes longer to get it out of the box then the time your kid will actually play with it.lol.  This one was very easy to get out of the box and since we got it he has not put it down.

The light cube is so cute it is a cube you can carry around with you and it has a stand so you can have it all set up for night night time.   It plays lullabies and the heart beat.  So for bigger or little this will play the right song to sooth them to sleep.  When the lights are off or in our case dimmed it projects stars on the ceiling or if you are like baby boy we turned it the other way to do stars on his wall next to him so he could touch them.  There is even a timer you can set so it can play them off to sleep and not have to worry about going back in to turn it off.  It also come in Pink or Blue so not matter which color your little one prefers you are set.  This is such a great item for your little one.  I have bought the star projectors before and I bought the sound machines I love that this one is both in one and that it is not huge does not take over the room and a very nice style to it.

I have seen these around for awhile and have been dying to try them.  When I heard they can help dry clothes up to 25% faster you all know I was going to jump on that one.  So of course I had to try them out on the hardest thing there is to get dried the towels.  When it comes to my towels I am very picky they must be fluffy and soft.  I was very excited when I had pulled them out of the dryer not only did they dry 20 minutes faster than normal they were fluffier then they have every been and very soft to the touch.  I really did not think this was possible without those little dryer sheets.  I also loved the fact that I just throw these 6 balls in the dryer and re use them.  I cannot tell you how many dryer sheets I have found laying around the house or stuck to my clothing afterword.

As you all know I am a lip stick/ lip gloss lover.  I never leave the house without them.   When trying a new one my first thing I think about is the color of them.  This one has a fantastic color that did not go on to dark it was just the right amount.  The second thing I think about is, is it sticky this one was not sticky at all.  It went on nice and smooth and left my lips feeling soft.  I have to be honest one thing that I do love is that this is a smaller packaging which means when I put in my jean pockets you cannot even tell its in their I don’t have that weird looking bulge in my pockets.  I know a weird thing to love but I always feel a little off when I have that bulge in the pocket.  They have truly come up with a one of a kind product that give you great color and feel great on your lips.  You can get your own for $4.50 using the link below.

The Fog chaser was hubby favorite a nice smooth strong flavor.   The breakfast blend was fantastic a little lighter then the fog chaser and he said is perfect to dunk his morning donut in.  The French roast and the Colombia were a medium roast for him he likes them but he says he would go for the fog chaser first.  They were all wonderful coffees and even thought the fog chaser was his favorite he would be happy drinking any of these any these.

The Hazel nut and French Vanilla were very nice flavored coffees.  They had a slight flavor to them so they were not over whelming.  He had these as nighttime desert drinks and loved them.  He usually does not drink coffee at night but he said he could not resist.  One night he mixed in ice cream and the French vanilla and loved every sip.  They were all wonderful coffees and I cannot wit to try the single serve cups.  This is not only a great coffee company, but they ship fast and were very great to work with.

Shape Tea

When I heard cleanse tea I thought for sure that it could not taste all the great but oh boy was I wrong.  This had a citrus taste that I just loved.  Drinking my 3 cups a day was not hard to do at all in fact I really enjoyed it.  This is not one of those cleanse teas that will leave you running to the bath room every five minutes.  You will notice it does work starting the first day.  You will become very regular.  I also noticed it in the way I felt more energy and more clear headed.  So easy to use just put a teaspoon of the great tea in your steeper I have a heart one and let seep for a few minutes and bam you are ready to drink.  It tasted great and this jar lasted quite a long time.  If you are looking to cleanse without the starving yourself part (I never understood those ones) this is a great way to go.

As most of you know I love costumes. Give me a chance to go to a costume party or trick and treating and I am the first person to RSVP. Any chance I get to dress up and be beautiful I take. This has led to me having A LOT of costumes in my house and I’ve even bought a bunch of Wholesale Silver Jewelry because I was spending so much on finding the perfect jewelry for my costumes! The wholesale costume club has a ton of great costumes and for very great prices. For only $5 dollars a year you can join as a member and get your costumes at a discounted price. This costume as a member would only cost you $33.96. Don’t know about joining as a member not a problem you can buy without being a member but once you see the quality of their costumes I think you will jump at the chance to become a member. This beautiful dress is made of a cascading blue/mint green Fabric 100% Polyester. That has a slit down the side for each leg and a plunging neck line. Accessories are not hard to find at all for this one. The headband comes with it and add your own gold jewelry to finish off the look. This dress is also great for a college Greek party’s. You can pair this dress with so many different accessories you can always have a new an updated look. I personally love that the material was nice and thick not see threw like most other costumes you will come across. The gold bands in the middle were ties in the back which I also loved it made it so I could fit the dress and not squeeze my upper body into it. As you can see the dress is a little long for me, but no worries at 5 foot 2 I am used to adjusting for the clothes. As you can see from one of the pictures above if you are going to a party a great gold heal would go perfect with this. If you are like me and off to go trekking with a 3 year old trick or treating buy a nice gold flat you will be comfy all night long and they would match this dress perfectly. There are so many ways to dress this outfit up you can go as far as your imagination will take you.

Trash Dash Review

   Who wants to hear my horror story?  As most of you know we just got back from our road trip.  We were gone for over a week, as I was leaving the house I did my check list turn off lights, take down trash, pay bills.  When we got home I noticed a biggie I had forgotten empty diaper bin.  You can all guess what it smelled like after I had gotten home.  To make it worse I had pulled out the bin and placed next to the door right in the sun light and forgot to empty it.  So when I went to get the mail my savor was waiting for me.  Trash Dash.   We had tried everything the night before air freshener, cleaning; even carpet smelly stuff just to get the smell out of the house and diaper pail nothing was working.  So when I got the trash dash I ran back home and opened immediately and poured not only on the bottom of the pail but also in the new bag that was inside why not be extra safe.  Within an hour the pail and the house was smelling better.  To top it off I use it in their still and when I open it to drop the diaper in I no longer get the rush of bad smell.   We have also started using it in our kitchen garbage can and I no longer get those nasty food smells coming out of it.  This is such an easy product to use I am so happy I have found it for the future.  I am also going to try it in out garbage cans down stairs.  Due to bears they have to stay in the garage till garbage day and you can guess they are not the ripest.  I cannot wait to see the magic they work on those.


   Trash dash in my opinion should be called magic trash dash.  It worked wonder for our house.  You can buy this wonderful product at your local Wal-Mart or you can get 2 bottles for $8.49 using the link below.  They have 2 wonderful scents Lavender and Citrus Burst.  I have been using the citrus burst in the kitchen and the lavender in our bathroom trash can.  You all know I am obsessed with my bath time.  Now when I head to go take my bath the room smells wonderful and calming.  This fantastic product is also safe for trash compactors.

We got the chance to read the new book Bubble Gum Princess and loved it.

This very enjoyable kid’s book was written by Julie Gribble and illustrated by Lori Hanson.  This is a wonderful book about a young girl who loved to blow bubble gum bubble.  One day she is invited to a royal party where bubble gum blowing is not allowed.  When a big bubbly gum bubble is popped in front of the queen they are kicked out of the palace.  This is when she goes to find out whom really blew the bubble and finds it is a surprising person.

Baby boy of course is too young to know what bubble gum is but enjoyed the book.  He thought I was talking about play bubble and we had to read the book a few times.  This had quickly become one of his favorite books.  The story is a great story about a young girl’s favorite thing to do and how not everything is a bad thing some things we forget as adults are actually very fun and can still be enjoyed by everyone.  As a mom who loved to have fun with their little one, I see how this book is a great reminder to all of us that just because you don’t do something anymore does not mean that it is not one of the funnest things you have done in the past.  Give it another try you just might have the kid come out in you and find something you love to do again.

I would recommend this book to everyone with little ones.

Ginger Zucchini Muffins

Ingredients:
1 cup unbleached white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 T baking powder
¼ cup The Ginger People® Organic Ginger Syrup
2 eggs
½ cup milk
? cup sunflower oil
1 cup grated zucchini
¼ cup The Ginger People® Crystallized Ginger

Instructions:
1) Pre-heat oven to 400?.
2) In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients (dry ingredients) and lightly whisk to combine.
3) In a separate bowl, combine all the liquid ingredients, whisk until blended.
4) Pour liquid ingredients into bowl with dry ingredients and stir until barely combined.
5) Fold in zucchini and ginger without over mixing the batter.
6) Scoop into prepared muffin pan and bake for 18-20 minutes until muffins spring back and have a slight golden color to the tops.
