Its that time of year again.  We are starting our Back To School shopping.  Every year it seems like the list gets longer and longer.  There is so much that the kids and teachers need, it’s nice to get our shopping done in stages.  This year Crayola Take Note has made it so much easier.

Crayola has everything for house and school.  They are our go to for Crayons and Pens.  They have a great selection for learning and fun.  Watch their work and art come to live with these great colors.

 

It seems like back to school comes earlier and earlier every year.  I can not believe that next week my son will be in 3rd grade.  With every back to school we have we also have the class list.  A ton of stuff the kids are going to need for the next year.  I love to pick up what is on the list and also a few extras for a just in case in the class room. OMG its already back to school time and we are celebrating with The Avengers Endgame.  They sent us this fantastic box for little guy and he was so excited.  He has refused to use anything but his Captain America Shield back pack since kindergarten.  Now he has a whole new back pack, Lunch Box and all the other accessories he needed for his first day of school

 

I bet you did not know TV Store Online has the perfect back to school clothes? They have a whole line of Pop Culture shirts and Hoodies you kids are going to go nuts for.  I could not believe the selection they had.  I was like a kid in a candy store.

Have you checked out What Should Danny Do?  This is a great book to read your little ones.  As you read your kids get to make the choice of where to go next.  Each of their choices will bring them to a different part of the book and help them see the consequences of their choices.  This is a great book to add to their reading list this year so they see how their choices can affect themselves and others.  A must have.

Sweet Suite NYC 2019

As you all know there is nothing I look forward to more then Sweet Suite in NYC. This year was their 10th birthday and I got to go with Chatty Patty from Chatty Patty’s Place.  We had so much fun and ran in like a kid at the candy store.  They have some of the best toys that your kids are going to go nuts for this year.  Make sure to follow along all the way till Christmas and see what fun surprises we bring you for the Holidays.

Pokemon Detective Pikachu on DVD

OMG any movie that starts with Mewtwo in the first 10 seconds already has 5 stars in my book. Any true Pokemon lover read that and are already out buying the movie. Then we go on just a few seconds later and Pidgey is flying around. OMG its like my Pokemon dream come true. OMG when all the Bulbasaur’s show up I was about in tears. I just wanted to sit in my Pikachu onesie and finally look like a stuffed toy with this fluff it has all over it and watch the movie over and over again!

This is a story that takes place in the Pokemon world. If only we really got to live with these cute friends (some people actually manage to get things pretty close to the real thing in the gaming world – take pixelmon for example, a mod for Minecraft that can be hosted as a server that include Pokemon). Tim is a boy who at one time wanted to be a Pokemon trainer. He now just wants to live his life Pokemon free. What a strange notion for someone living in such a world, right? You’d think anyone who grew up figuring out the Pokemon rom downloads would be happy to swap places with him in this situation! But then his dad goes missing and he goes to see his place. When he gets there, he meets a strange girl and her Psyduck. When he gets to his dads’ apartment, he meets his dad’s Pokemon Pikachu. Pikachu has no memory just a hat on that says Tim’s dad’s address. They team up to find out what happened to his dad and why so many Pokemon are going temporarily crazy.

This is such a fantastic film. There are many like me that have always dreamed of this world and I love seeing what could be from another persons eyes. If you are a Pokemon lover then Pokemon Detective Pikachu movie is a must.

Sensory Seekers meet Drop Dots

Hello mama’s out there.  I have been getting a lot of questions about great sensory toys for kids this time of year.  Whether they need them for back to school or just something to help calm down while everything is getting so busy, we have found you some.  Have you heard of Drop Dots Love Em’s ?

  I don’t want to ruin the surprise for you, but these will make a huge difference if you have a sensory seeker like I do. Drop Dots Love Em’s have different charters and they are squishy.  These are not your normal squishy they have some give to them too.  So, if your kids like to squish hard then let them squish away.

  They also have some texture to them. There is so much to them they will be squishing away for a while.  I love the fact that they can pick different charters so not just a texture thing its also a visual sensory for them too.  If you have not checked out Drop Dots from KESS toys I would 100% recommend them.

A Dogs Journey starts off from A Dogs Purpose.  With these two movies I have been on an emotional roller-coaster for days.  They are the most heartwarming, sad and happy movies that I have honestly ever seen.  Every dog lover needs to go pick up the books and movies and start reading/watching.  If you have lost your best furry find it will give you a whole new look on the loss. And help you look a little closer at that one dog that seems to be drawn to you.  This is the story of one dog that comes back over and over again after dying to fulfill his purpose in life.

 

We start the movie off and Bailey is back with Ethan. Yet there is a new addition a little girl named CJ.  Who needs to be protected, she is a curious little girl who gets into quite a bit of trouble.   After Bailey passes on, he vows to come back for his new purpose.  It is now to protect CJ for Ethan. Bailey takes his job very seriously.

Now just like A dogs Purpose this is a heart wrenching movie.  I watch hundreds of movies a year my one rule for movies I watch is, Dogs cannot die.  Of course, this movie broke the rule, ran over the rule, put the rule back up and destroyed the rule.  Yet I have to say my heart and life is more fulfilled for watching A Dogs Journey and A Dogs Purpose.  Do Not Miss This One.

A Dog Lover Series

Warning Have The Tissues Ready.  Thank you so much for such a great box the babies loved it.

 

As you all know my dogs are my babies, I love them and protect them like they are my children.  I had never seen either of these movies and I can honestly say now that I have my heart is filled.  Of course, parts were just heart breaking.  If you say parts were not then you are truly not a dog lover.  Even though some were heart breaking a lot more of it was exactly what I needed to fill my heart.

I would like to say a huge thank you to W. Bruce Cameron for such beautiful stories.  I have truly been feeling this way for years its nice to know its not just me.  You truly write inspiring books/screen plays.

My little story.  I got my first baby girl when I was only 6, she was the light of my life and went everywhere with me.  Fluffy was and always will be my best friend in life.  I lost here 16 years later when I was in college and thought I would never get over her.  Many dog friends later my friends dog had puppies.  My son got the pick of the littler for his service dog and the stars started to align.  Not only at 1 week old did him and his new girl pick each other at the same time (not even open eyes yet she scooted to him and they have been attached at the hip ever since).  Her birthday was the same as fluffy’s birthday.  The only one out of the 5 puppies born to be born on that day.

A Dogs Purpose

I am a true believer that the dog picked their human.  They know when they meet the human, they are here to take care of.

When we see our new friend pick his human I was about in tears.  This movie had me crying my eyes out.  This little puppy we get to know as Bailey spends his life with Ethan finally finding a home, but when he gets to old the tears start flying again.  As the movie goes on, we see a few other lives he has.  As each bring him a different life and a different purpose, he still remembers one of his first.

Avengers Endgame and Back To School

If you have not seen Avengers Endgame yet then run out on the 13th and make sure to buy your copy you will not be disappointed.  Well you might be a little, but not by the movie or acting.  The movie will bring you on an emotional rollercoaster from the very first minute all the way till the last minute.  We get to find out who comes back.  Who lives, who dies, and who comes into their powers to be the very best.
