I got the chance to try out the great Food Storage System and loved it.

The Ozeri set helps save food by pressing on the lid to remove the extra air that spoils food, it will help you save money by keeping food fresher longer.  They nest into each other to save space when storing and sit on top of each other in the fridge when using them.   Now here is one of my favorite things about them they can not only go into the freezer for storing your next meal but they can go right into the microwave for cooking.  What a time saver I no longer have to move them from freezer, let defrost and move to another bowl to microwave.

I used this great set for thanksgiving. As you can see I not only used them to store the left over’s but they looked good enough that I also served in them.  Make out thanksgiving so easy we just served in the containers and when everyone was done I just put the lids on and put them into the fridge.  Then where we had left over’s the next day I just pulled out and microwave them and we were ready to eat again.  These were very easy to clean and when I needed them after I made my favorite homemade turkey and rice soup I froze it is these great container so I when we wanted the soup again just pull out of the freezer and microwave and bam dinner is done. As you can see from the first picture this is how they come they all stack into each other with the lids so no more searching for the lids when you need one and no need to take up a whole cubed just to store them.  I love this food storage set I will be using these for a long time.

Camarena Tequila

I got the chance to try this great tequila and love it.

 

If you are anything like me when someone says tequila you flash back to college days when you drank the bottle that cost you $4 – $5 and let’s be honest you could taste those for days.   I have always been a good tequila lover so when I got the chance to try out this tequila I was so excited.  When it first came the first thing I noticed was the beautiful bottle.  I love this bottle looks fancy and was very easy to open.  When I opened it up it smelled like tequila but not that sour tequila smell.  So of course first thing I had to do was take a shot.  And was very excited it went down smooth and did not burn my throat at all.  It had a great taste but did not linger for too long.  The second thing I did was call a few good friends over and made them my favorite holiday drink and of course holiday salsa.

This great tequila is made with 100% blue agave not all tequilas are.

The salsa is quick and easy to make

2 tomatoes

1 jalapeño

½ onion

Lemon juice

Lime juice

Garlic salt

Cilantro

And of course a shot of Camarena tequila

Chop all and mix.  Let sit in fridge for 3 hours. The tequila will bring out the flavors like you would not believe

 

One if my favorite low cal holiday drinks

In blender mix

Cranberry juice

Ice

Camarena Tequila

Poor into measuring cup clean blender and add

Green food coloring

Coconut water

Tequila

Then poor both in cup at same time and make a nice red and green frozen drink

 

Want to add a little more flavor poor in a shot of strawberry margarita mix on the top

 

Hubby’s holiday drink

2 shots Camarena  tequila

Cranberry juice

7 up

Stir and drink.

If you have a ton of people coming over make a few of these ready to go add a little green food coloring into  a few of them and have red and green drinks ready to go.

Simply 7 Snacks

I got the chance to try out these snacks and love them.

As you all know I am doing the 24 day weight loss challenge.  The biggest part of the challenge for me is I had no snacks.  I am a snacker and it was killing me so when I got a chance to try these out I was jumping for joy.  These are a fantastic snack that I can eat on this challenge, so I did not have to give up on my snacking.  My biggest problem with these snacks is I have 14 more days to go on the challenge and I am almost out lol.  Even baby boy and hubby got in on the snacking with these I love that I have a snack that baby boy loved that are good for him.

Simply 7 was created to make a tasty snack for you with natural ingredients that you could recognize.  And boy were these tasty.  As you all know I used to be the girl who would eat anything that tasted good and for most of us that means no good for you.  After having baby boy I try and be better I don’t want him growing up eating everything unhealthy.  I am so happy that I found these, they not only taste great but I knew exactly what I was putting in my body and my baby boy’s.  These have 0 grams of fat, no cholesterol, no artificial colors or flavors.  They are made with gluten free ingredients, and no preservatives.

The first ones I tried were the hummus.  I have to be honest here I thought I would hate these I am not a hummus person.  But baby boy got to pick first and these are the ones he picked.  So I opened the bag and grabbed one out and OMG these are delicious.  I could not stop eating them.  The hummus came in Sea Salt, Tomato Basil, Spicy Chili Pepper, and Roasted Red Pepper. Every flavor was fantastic my favorite of these was the sea salt.  They were crispy and just the perfect amount of salt.  The chips seem to melt in your mouth.  Baby boy’s favorite was the Tomato Basil I have a feeling these would be my sisters’ favorite too.  Just the right amount of flavor not to over whelming at all.

The second one I tried was the pomegranate. The Pomegranate came in Black Pepper, Sea Salt and White Cheddar.  I have to be honest here I could not decide which one the Sea salt or the pepper I liked best so I mixed them in a bowl and ate them together.  Once again they just melted in my mouth and were fantastic.

The third one I tried was the Lentil. The Lentil chips came in Bruschetta, Sea Salt Creamy Dill and Jalapeno.  For these ones my favorite was the bruschette a fantastic taste with a great flavor.  For these hubby went straight to the Jalapeno and baby boy went to the dill.  I did not know about the dill at first but after one taste I was total sold on these.

 

The simply 7 snacks were fantastic.  If you are on a 24 day weight loss like me or just want a healthier snack for every day I would recommend these.

Jolly Time

We got the chance to have a Jolly Time Pop Corn and Movie night and had a blast.

They sent us 2 packs of their smart balance pop corn and a box of the light pop corn and a great movie.  The Snowman and the Snow dog.  We love a great movie night in our family especially during winter time.  We all get together next to the fire make our pop corn and watch movies.  We are nice and warm in the house and all together.  We try and pick a new movie every week and each week a different person gets to pick.  This week Jolly Time picked for us.  Even if you don’t have a lot of time to spend as a family always try.  Your little ones will not be this little for long enjoy them while you can.

I have to admit I think the movie was a little sad but baby boy loved it.  He is obsessed with puppies right now so when he saw the puppy on this he was so excited.  He keeps on telling me what the snowman and dog were up to. He wanted to watch it over and over again.

This pop corn is one of the best I have had.  It popped perfect with the microwave popcorn button.  Almost no UN popped kernels left on the bottom of the bag.    Jolly Time smart pop corn is the same great popcorn you have grown to love but with healthier ingredients. They are made with 100% whole grain kernels, 0 grams of Tran’s fat and 0 hydrogenated oil.  This is popcorn I can feel ok about giving to my baby boy, and let me tell you baby boy is obsessed with it.  This will definitely be out family movie time popcorn for now on.  The butter one had a fantastic butter taste and even the light butter had a great taste to it. I got the chance to try these great energy drinks and I am in love.

When they first came in this great package I was so surprised at how many different flavors there are.  I was so excited to get a jump on drinking these.  But of course they are an energy drink so I did not want to overdo it. So I had to be good and take my time just one a day.   There are only 30 calories each so if you are using these to help give you a boost on your work out ,you don’t have to be worried that they are going to ruin all your hard work.  Now as you all know with my 24 day weight loss challenge I am no longer a soda drinker but I did miss the energy and the flavor.  I am not one of those people that can just drink water all day I get board.  So these came at a perfect time.  Not only were they taste great, but also low calorie.  The best thing they still gave me the caffeine that I needed to get thru the day.

The first one I tried was by far my favorite.  The grape it tasted like a grape soda I could drink this all day.  It had a fantastic taste and gave this mama the boost she needed.  My second favorite was the lemon lime Rush this tasted just like a 7 up to me (but without the calories).  Can you all tell I was missing my soda before I got these?  Each flavor was fantastic and the taste was way beyond what I could have even imagined.  I will definitely stop buying all those flavored waters and start buying these.  The taste is better the calories are lower and it gives me the energy I need to keep up with my 3 year old.

Dimples Rub Pork Loin

When I got the chance to try out the Dimples Rub I was so excited.  I could not even imagine how much I would be in love with this rub.  I have almost used the entire bottle.  I use it on everything from burgers, to chicken, even in my rice a ronie for some great flavor.  The flavor is a great BBQ flavor with a touch of sweet I just can resist.

 

This recipe takes a while to cook but is very easy to do

What you will need

Dimples rub

Pork Loin

Apple Juice

Tin Foil

Injector

First take your pork loin and rub in Dimples Rub.

BBQ on about 250 for about a half hour on each side.

About ½ way thru each side inject with a mixture of dimples rub and apple juice.

Take pork loin off BBQ and place in tin foil.

Sprinkle on a little more rub and poor Apple juice on bottom of tin foil.

Inject pork loin again and wrap up.

Place back on BBQ for about an hour and a half to 2 hours

I open up the package about ½ way threw to check and make sure there is still juice and turn over pork loin.

 

Take off BBQ let sit for about 10-15 minutes

Cut into strips sprinkle a little more rub on and serve.

This one takes a while but just falls apart when done.

As you all know I love Dimples and would recommend it to everyone. From their BBQ sauce to their rub they are by far the best out there. Dimples rub is comming soon to the online store so keep an eye out.

OMG yes I said Nestle.  The hardest part of doing this review was not eating everything before I could get a picture and try out a recipe.  One item of course did not last past the picture the sweet tarts in the candy cane.  Baby boy saw these started jumping up and down took them and ran.  LOL one down in less than 5 minutes.  When I got the chance to try these out I was so excited unfortunately for me I got that stomach flu that was going around and did not get a chance to even sample or cook till now.  I had to hide the rest of the box till I felt better or everything would have been missing.   All the Nestle candies are for a very reasonable price less than $10.00 at your local grocery store.  I would like to note even though these are holiday candies you can find them year round in different packaging.   I have to say this is the first time I ever saw nerd’s ropes and I love them.  I cannot believe what a fantastic idea and they taste great.

My hardest part of this recipe was melting down the crunch bar.  It’s hard to take something that is already perfection and make it into something else so after I ate 1/3 of the bar it was time to get cooking.lol for this recipe I made an oldie but a goody.  Chocolate crunch bar covered strawberries with sweat tart powder.  These turned out so good we ate the whole bath in a matter of minutes.

For this recipe you will need

Crunch Bar

Sweat Tarts

Strawberries

Wax Paper and something to crush the sweat tarts with (I used a rolling pin)

While the chocolate was melting I added a little bit of milk here and their till I go the right consistence that I wanted.

While it was melting I crunched my sweat tarts

When I was ready to start I grab strawberries and dip into chocolate and place onto wax paper.

Before the chocolate is hardened sprinkle with you crushed sweat tart

Place in fridge for about ½ hour and you are done.  The crunch bar truly made this a unique recipe.

This has to be one of the funniest and tastiest reviews I have done.  Nestle makes a great stocking stuffer for Christmas, and a great present at any time.  They have so many different candies everyone is sure to find a favorite here.

 

Butter finger, Baby Ruth and Crunch Bar ohhh my.  This review has truly been a dream come true.  Now I am heading off to go get my sugar fix.

I would of course recommend this product to every one for every day.  I cannot tell you how many times a nice crunch bar has truly made me a happy girl for the day

When I got this to try I was very skeptical.  I am a sugar lover.  I have never tried any of these sweeteners that I liked.  They always had after taste or just did not taste good from the first drink.   When I got this I first opened it up and it actually smelled very good.  I was so excited to try it.  One thing I love to drink is my strawberry lemon water.  The one thing I do not like is when I leave it sitting to long it really gets sour and I would love to add some sweat to it, but I don’t want to add calories to it.  So I tried the drops n the water and boy was it fantastic.  I was truly surprised and very happy that I loved this.  Just 2 little drops made it sweat enough to drink and enjoy and I did not have to worry about the calories.  I was also surprised at how little of this sweater I had to use.  If I was using sugar I would have gone for at least 2 teaspoons.

The Sweet Stevia Gold has zero calories and is all natural original flavor.  There are no harmful additives or preservatives.  For our allergy people this does NOT contain egg, sugar, salt, yeast, peanuts, wheat, gluten, corn, or soy.   SO you are pretty much safe with this one.  This is also USDA organic.  I was very surprised on how much I loved this one and I am very glad I found it I have also used in my tea and in my plain oatmeal.  I loved it in everyone and since it is in this easy portable bottle with a dripper I can bring it with me on road trips.  So when I get that not so good cup of tea on the road I can make it a lot better without all the calorie.  I would recommend this to everyone.

  You all know I cannot resist anything pink.   This was a very light weight scale very easy to pick up and take where ever you need.   It does come with the batteries (which I love).  After you put in the batteries you will set it up for different people in the house.  I set my height and stepped on it and was instantly freaked out.  There is a sliding scale also on the side which will tell you whether you are underweight, normal, overweight, or obese and it will tell you where you are on the scale.


  When I first stepped on it I was freaked out, how could it tell me I am obese I was about to throw it off the deck.  Then I noticed it going all the way up and then back down.  Woo hooo I am normal this scale can live another day. I love that is a small light weight bathroom scale I can store it easily under the counter and it is no work at all to take it out and use it.  Of course it is pink so we all know I would never store it, it has to be out so everyone can see.  No worries if pink is not your color it also comes in white.  It is very easy to clean up just a wet rag and you are done.  You can buy this awesome scale from Amazon from the link below.

We got the chance to try out PB crave and loved it.

We are peanut butter lovers and what is better than peanut butter with other flavors in them.   We got 4 different ones to try The Banana, Chocolate, Cookie Dough, and Raspberry.   These were all so good we could not stop eating them.   PB crave is made with Natural Peanut Butter, Honey  and other great ingredients to make up their flavors, COCO bananas, Razzle Dazzle, Cookie Nookie, And Choco Choco.

The cookie Nookie, and the Choco Choco were two of my favorite.  You all know I have a sweat tooth and these were so delicious.  I not only ate them out of the container but on everything.  This was also a perfect when I need a chocolate snack instead of eating a whole box of chocolate pop tarts (which I have done) I would put some of the Choco on a piece of bread and it hit the spot.  With the extra protein in it 1 piece was enough and I was satisfied and full.  Hubby loved the Cookie Nookie on frozen waffles.
