Southern Breeze Sweet Tea Review

We are a Sweet Tea loving family so when we got the chance to try out the Southern Breeze Sweet Tea I was so excited. As a sweet tea loving family I have tried a ton of them and you have to be pretty darn good to impress me.  I have heard that this is one of the best sweet teas around and boy were they right.  I love that it only takes two tea bags to make a whole lot of it and I have it ready and waiting for me in the fridge.

I have been so used to making tea at home and having to add half a bag of sugar to make it sweet.  The awesome thing about them is you don’t have to add anything. Just steep your tea bags and refrigerate and you are ready to rock.  Even better news it is a zero calorie sweetener, but it tastes just like sugar so you are getting a sweat tea that is actually better for you.  They have it all added already to the bag so you don’t have to add anything else it is fantastic right from the start. It took me a total of about 10 minutes to make and most of that time was just boiling the water.   I cannot stress enough how easy this was to make and how great it was to drink.  I would recommend this tea to everyone.  I LOVED it.

  If you are anything like me you have a fridge full of food that always goes bad way to quick.  Even when I have the baking soda in there it does nothing.  So when I got the chance to check out the Mini Mate I was so excited.  If this could help the smells and keep my food fresher longer think of the money it would save me.  This actually showed up a day before I left for New York so to give it a real try I stocked my fridge up put in the batteries put in the fridge and off on vacation I went.


  I was gone for about 2 weeks and when I got back my asparagus and strawberries were still good to eat.  The strawberries were a little soft but hey let’s be honest they would normally never last 2 weeks in there anyway.  Normally if my little one does not eat them in a day a week later they are growing some not so pretty stuff. Hubby said he could tell from the first sip it was acid free. It was just a very smooth pure coffee taste. It was still strong like he liked but had a very nice taste and smell to it. Sun Cups Best Tasting Chocolate Candy Review

You all know me when I get the chance to try out some chocolate I am all over that one.  I was very interested to try out this one a sun flower butter cup.  Now this sounded interesting.  So of course when it first came I dug right into my new sun flower cups and I was very impressed.  The milk chocolate was very creamy and good and the inside was different.  Think of a sunflower seeds made into a creamy butter covered in chocolate.  It was fantastic. I ate both packages (you know just to test them out lol).  The two flavors really worked well together and the whole thing melted in my mouth.

These were made with roasted sunflower seed butter covered in a creamy milk chocolate.  They are peanut free so if you have a nut allergy no worries you can not only enjoy this great treat but you don’t have to worry.  They are also gluten free.  Now everyone can enjoy this great American treat and not have to worry.  These milk chocolate sun cups were fantastic I could eat a case of them.  These were a fantastic new twist on an old favorite.

Pulled Pork

Hey all I did a slow cooker recipe awhile ago with root bear and a few people asked for a less sweet recipe so we got it for you.  Dimples is our favorite BBQ sauce.  You get the perfect mix of sweat and smoky once you try it you will never go back to your old boring BBQ sauce.

 

This is a very easy one to do and turned out perfect.

What you will need

Dimples

Pork loin

Apple juice

Chicken broth

Worcestershire Sauce

And slow cooker liners

In the slow cooker put in the liner (this makes for a quick and easy clean up) I hate scrubbing the slow cooker

Add the pork loin, a can of chicken broth, a cup of apple juice and Worcestershire.  Cook on low for about 6 hours.  My slow cooker cooks hot so mine only takes about 4 hours

Take it out and pull apart with 2 forks

Add a little juice from the slow cooker

Then take your dimples pour in a little bowl and warm it up so your meat stays warm when you add it.

Mix up put on a bun and serve.  We used mini buns and make them into pulled pork slider yummy.  Turned out perfect and very easy to make.

Garlic Press

Orblue Garlic Press Review

One thing I always use in my kitchen is my garlic press.  A ton of my recipes call for crushed garlic.  So when I got the chance to try this one out I jumped on it.  One thing that really caught my eye on it was the compartment for the garlic was a lot larger than most.    I can do almost twice as much garlic in one shot then I used to.   The handles on this were very easy to use and a nice shape so it did not hurt my hands at all.   I was very pleased with this garlic press, and with the stainless steel color it really can go with any kitchen.

When it came to cleaning it I was very impressed.  Not only is that little cup attacked but it swings out to clean it easily.  I loved this; I can’t tell you how many times when I put my old one in the dishwasher it was always a challenge to find a place to put the little cup so I did not lose it.  This was an awesome garlic press I am so happy I got the chance to try it out.  I will be using this daily.  Want a new garlic recipe.  Click on the recipe below to see what I cooked using this great garlic press for the first time.

Fruit/Vegetable Wash

I was very excited when I got the chance to try out the Vegetable wash.  This is perfect timing in the year.  I love to buy from the Farmers markets and stock up from the store but I am always wondering if it is actually clean even after I use water.  So when I got the chance to try this one out I jumped on it.  This is very easy to mix.  Just open the package and pour into the bottle which they provided.  Add water shake up and ready to go.  I just clean the fruit off with water first and spray and clean again.  I was amazed at how much more dirt and who knows what else I saw come off the fruit when I sprayed it.    Then I just cut up and serve or freeze as normal.  This spray did not change the taste of it at all.  All I had left was clean and fresh fruit.

Igozen is an organic product made from seashells.  When I first read that I totally wondered if I would get crunches on my fruit or a salt flavor but neither of these happened.  I usually do not copy from there description but I could not say it better than they did “ Due to its micro- fine size particles, it can penetrate deep underneath food surfaces to remove waste, toxins, pesticides, and bacteria that no other cleaner can. Kiva Organic Cacao Powder (Cocoa – Chocolate Powder)

OMG Cacao Powder.  For those of you that know me you know I really don’t have to write much more, you know where I am going with this.   I love anything Cacao and a powder that I can add to anything even better.  For those of you that do not know me.  Yes I added it to everything.  I even ate it right off the spoon in powder form, and no I do not feel guilty at all about it.    I have to say my favorite thing was I got my ice cream and sprinkled it on top.  OMG this was so good and there is no sugar added to this Cacao powder so I was not adding any UN needed sugar to my ice cream.  Yes I know how that sounds but just because I want sweet does not mean I have to pack the sugar on.  Another great one for all you moms out there I also use this to make baby boy chocolate milk.  He loves the taste and I know I am not packing the sugar in it like with the other mixes.  Next I will be doing hot coco for mama yaaa.

You can use this great mix for so many different things, to sprinkle over yogurt, on fruit (which I definitely have to try) in smoothies, baking and more.  This powder is all natural, no sugar or fillers and in my opinion taste great.  I can’t believe how much you get in the bag.  This is going to last us a long time and we will be using it daily.  You do not need to refrigerate once you open it just store in a cool dark place for us that is our pantry.  It is USDA Organic and 100% Cacao powder.  I loved, loved, loved this powder and I would totally recommend it to everyone.
