I have to admit I did not know if I would like Black Panther. This charter is new to me. I of course had seen him a few times but really did not understand his origins. I loved that this movie went into the history. We get to find out how the Black Panther came to be and why. This is a must for me to love a character. The movie was action packed and fantastic. I am so excited that I now have this one in my collection.
Black Panther was an action-packed movie from beginning to end. It really told the story and keep me sucked in to what would happen next.

THE COMIC BOOKS WERE A HUGE INSPIRATION FOR THE FILMMAKERS
When it comes to the inspiration behind the story of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, director and co-writer Ryan Coogler admits that he delved deep into the history of the acclaimed Marvel comic book series. “We pulled from all of the comics,” Coogler explains. “When you watch our film, you will probably see something from every writer that has touched T’Challa’s character in the Black Panther comics. Everything from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s initial runs through to Don McGregor, Christopher Priest, Jonathan Hickman and Brian Stelfreeze. We grabbed from it all. Each writer left their own mark, so Agent Ross [played by Martin Freeman in the movie] came from Christopher Priest’s run and the character of Shuri came from Reginald Hudlin’s run. Each run left something for us to pull from, but we pulled from absolutely all of them.”

THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL ON SET WAS MIND-BLOWING FOR THE ACTORS
“It was incredible to walk on to the Wakandan sets,” enthuses Danai Gurira, who plays Okoye in the movie. “Our production designer, Hannah Beachler, was amazing. I remember walking into the Tribal Council room and thinking, ‘This room is stunning.’ The floors were see-through. There were massive, beautifulpanther statues. The throne was very African. The entire décor was very African. It was an amazing experience, which was very rich for my character because I stood there and I thought, ‘This is like nothing else on the planet and it’s my character’s job to protect it.’ Hannah pulled from lots of awesome traditional African esthetics. You don’t get to see it in the movie, but she also designed T’Challa’s office, which was another amazing room on set. We shot some scenes in there, which were left out of the movie – but the office was constructed and it looked amazing.”
SUPER HERO SECRET #3
THE PRODUCTION TEAM TOOK A TRIP TO SOUTH AFRICA TO RESEARCH THE MOVIE
“We took a really important trip to South Africa to do a ton of research for Black Panther,” reveals production designer Hannah Beachler. “We went up and down the country, which helped immensely when we started to create the sets. It was incredible to see all the colors, the textiles and the way things were built. In the end, we shot a lot of plates and second unit footage in South Africa. We shot footage in Uganda, which was used to show the farm land and open space of Wakanda. It was beautiful. We also shot at Victoria Falls in Zambia. When the fighters come flying through the falls and get to the challenge pool; that flight through the falls is Victoria Falls. But when you get to the challenge pool, what you see behind them is a bit of Iguazu Falls, which is in South America. We smashed the two together because we wanted a horizon.”
SUPER HERO SECRET #4
SEBASTIAN STAN WAS ONLY ON THE BLACK PANTHER SET FOR ONE DAY
“The tag scene with Bucky [played by Sebastian Stan] at the end of the movie came as a wonderful surprise to me,” explains Letitia Wright, who plays Shuri inBlack Panther. “I was so happy when I read about it. Props to Ryan [Coogler] for adding it to the movie. This scene was shot quite late in the production, but I really enjoyed it. It was a beautiful day on set and I thought it was a great way for us to find out where Bucky had been hiding in Wakanda. We shot the scene in a forest area somewhere in Atlanta, but it only took a day. Sebastian was really great to work with. He’s a good chap.”

THE IN-HOME RELEASE IS PACKED WITH DELETED SCENES AND OUTTAKES
Marvel fans can delve deeper into the wondrous world of Wakanda with the exclusive bonus features packaged with the in-home release of the movie. Not only are there behind-the-scenes featurettes and never-before-seen outtakes, but there are also a number of deleted scenes. “There are a couple of scenes with Okoye and W’Kabi [played by Daniel Kaluuya] that I would love people to see,” explains Danai Gurira. “There’s a scene between Okoye and W’Kabi, which takes place after Killmonger tells us what he’s going to do with the kingdom. Okoye is very disturbed by her man seeming to positively respond to Killmonger. There’s also a scene where W’Kabi and Okoye go head-to-head. Okoye pushes W’Kabi to a place where all the rage he had towards T’Challa comes out. I hope some of those moments end up in the deleted scenes.”
SUPER HERO SECRET #6
LUPITA NYONG’O HAD TO LEARN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES FOR THE MOVIE
“The African language that we speak in the movie is Xhosa, which is a Bantu language from South Africa,” reveals Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Nakia in BlackPanther. “It has the clicks which my native tongue does not have, so I had to learn it for the movie. I worked very closely with a dialect coach to get it right. I also speak Korean in the film, which was a doozy. A week before we shot the scenes in South Korea, they finalized exactly what Nakia was going to say, so all week I kept practicing the lines over and over again. However, I slipped up from time to time. At one point, the Korean extras laughed because they told me I’d said something about a barbecue by mistake – but we got there in the end.”

LETITIA WRIGHT DISCOVERED SHE’D WON HER ROLE IN A RATHER UNUSUAL PLACE
“The audition process was really interesting,” admits Letitia Wright. “I sent over two tapes from London and I didn’t think anything would happen – but then I got a call asking me to fly out to Los Angeles for a screen test. That’s where I met Ryan [Coogler] and Chadwick [Boseman, who plays T’Challa]. Thankfully, we had an immediate connection. I went home and I didn’t hear anything for a couple of weeks – but then I was called back for another screen test. This time, I flew to Atlanta and they put braids in my hair – and I knew I just had to have fun with the audition. I remember thinking, ‘Man, if this happens, it will be very special for me.’ A couple of weeks later, I found out they wanted me for the role of Shuri. I was standing at a bus stop in London when the call came through. I went crazy! I was screaming at the bus stop! I was overjoyed to be part of this epic movie.”
SUPER HERO SECRET #8
CAST MEMBERS HAD TO TACKLE A GRUELING SIX-WEEK BOOT CAMP
Before the cameras started to roll on Black Panther, cast members flew out to Atlanta to prepare for the movie’s awe-inspiring action sequences. “The boot camp lasted six weeks,” reveals Danai Gurira. “It was really helpful to get athletically conditioned for the film shoot, although we also got into the specifics of the movements of our characters. We learned fight choreography, as well as different techniques of how our character was going to move on set. It was intense, but I learned a lot. Okoye is the general of the army and the head of the Dora Milaje, so the way she fights is very traditional. Her movement with the war spear comes from very ancient movements of the nation. It was really interesting to learn.”
SUPER HERO SECRET #9
THERE WERE RAP BATTLES BETWEEN THE ACTORS ON SET
An exclusive gag reel has been created for the in-home release, which is packed with comedy bloopers and slapstick slip-ups from the set of the movie. “There were a lot of funny moments during the filming of Black Panther,” recalls Letitia Wright. “Even though the shoot was a lot of hard work and there were some incredibly physical scenes, we always found moments to have fun. We had rap battles in between takes, or we organized dinners and bowling sessions. There was a day where we did a Get Out challenge, because we had [Get Out star] Daniel Kaluuya working with us. Who won the rap battles? To be perfectly honest, I think I was the best. I was up against a lot of people, but their rapping skills were terrible.”
SUPER HERO SECRET #10
LOOK CLOSELY AT THE MOVIE’S KIMOYO BEADS FOR HIDDEN QUALITIES
Hannah Beachler admits she had a ton of fun working on the high-tech gadgets for the movie. “The Kimoyo beads are my favorite,” the production designer admits. “I really pushed the design on them because I knew the beads needed to be something really cool. The Kimoyo beads were originally introduced in the Black Panther comics – but Ryan [Coogler] loved the idea of using them for communicating in the movie. If you look closely at the beads, you’ll see there’s a prime bead, which is given to you when you’re born in Wakanda. There is a little peak on the prime bead, which makes it stand out from the others. All the beads’ symbols light up, but the prime bead lights up completely. A Nigerian language – nsibidi – is used for the symbols on the beads. You’ll also see nsibidi writing on columns of some of the iconic buildings in Wakanda, too.”
We got this movie in exchange for an honest review all opinions are my own.

Have you been looking for a fun way to spend some time with your family? I think its time to bring back family game night. We are all so busy these days its hard to keep up with your family a great family game night once a week or even once a month can help you get back on track and find out about what is going on in every one’s life. My little guy is only 7, but it can still be hard to get him to talk. When he is relaxed and having fun is when we get the most out of him. With him also being special needs means we have to have games that are not the normal. He loves the games from Goliath Games they have new and fun games that really keep my sons interest.
The three games we played this week were
Catch The Fox
This one is so fun fill the pockets of his pants and when they fall try and get as many chickens as you can to fil your coup. This is truly a game of speed my little guy is fast lol.
Shark Bite
This one is right up hubby’s alley. You get little fishing pools and use them to get your fish out of the shark’s mouth before it’s too late.
Build Or Boom
This one is not only new, But I would say it is little guys favorite. You build what the cards tell you and hope the other person does not blow yours up before. Not only does my son love building but he loved blowing stuff up even more lol. This is also a great learning game for your kids. My son will just sit there with the cards building everything even when we are not playing.
We loved the Goliath Games and would tell everyone to get on the site and start shopping these are not only new to us adults, but they are fun for the whole family
Maya the bee lovers you don’t have much longer to wait for the next installment. Just like Maya the Bee 1 this one is so cute and fun loving. It could not have come at a better time for little guy. He is learning all about bees in school this week so he was excited to see this movie. When the summer months don’t produce as much honey as the hive needs Maya and her friends go to talk to the Empress. The Empress makes them a deal they can compete in the homey games, but if they lose they also lose all the honey they do have. Of course, Maya is ready to enter and win, but the others are not so sure. Maya and the others make friends along the way that will help them. As long as they can all work together. I love that this also came with the digital download. My son can now take it every where with him.
If you have a little bee lover make sure to pick this movie up on May 1st
Looking for a fun twist on the Zombie craze. One that you can enjoy with your kids then ZOMBIES on Disney DVD on April 24th is what you need. This was such a fun-loving movie with a lot of life lessons mixed in. Who new one soda could cause such a mess, with one spill a whole town was spit apart into the Zombies and the none Zombies. When years have passed they were finally allowed to interact when two kids one from each side of the fence became friends. Now they have to figure out how to get everyone else on board with the new normal. The music was fantastic and will have your kids up and dancing. The story line was a nice mix of old and new. I also loved that the extras even taught you one of the dances. Disney has once again out done themselves.

At the end of a tough day, you want nothing more than a space you can retreat into to loosen up, lie down, and just relax and gather yourself. To many of us, our bedroom is that haven, that retreat that gives us some distance from the rest of the world. But if yours isn’t providing that solace, why not? Here are some issues that could be blocking the mind-healing properties of your room.
If the bedroom is full of clutter or your desks and surfaces are lined with miscellaneous items that don’t have a place, that can make things worse. Seeing as you have options such as using paperless document software similar to what you can find on sites like FilecenterDMS to help reduce the amount of paper you have lying around in your room, to even doing something simple like placing items in storage boxes, there shouldn’t be any excuses as to why you can’t keep your room looking clean and clutter-free.
Clutter has been shown to play a real role in inducing or making stress feel worse. Get on top of it and get organized. Buy hampers you can easily tuck under the bed. Get stationery trays to help you to tame your desktop. Find new storage additions that help you give a home to the little items that stick out like a sore thumb. Take a closer look at the décor of the room, as well. Clutter also means furniture and décor that doesn’t quite need to be there. If it’s over-designed, take a fine-toothed comb and consider seriously the value every item adds. If it offers none, move it elsewhere.
Give yourself the room to lie
If you’re still sleeping in a single bed, it may be time to seriously consider upsizing. It’s easy to find king bedroom sets for sale at just about any budget now, thanks to the internet. Not having enough space to properly spread out, relax, and find a comfortable posture is only going to make sleeping at night a less comfortable posture. If you can free up the budget, it is worth investing in a little touch of luxury to your bedding, as well. It should be one part of the home in which you have no qualms about treating yourself. This means high-quality bedding, too, of course.
One issue that becoming prevalent in bedrooms all over is the idea of trying to make them do more than they should. The bedroom is for two things above all else: sleeping and snuggling. A lot of people try to find a home office in the corner of their bedroom, but the truth is this is harmful in two ways. For one, you might find it harder to switch off and lie down after doing your work because the workplace is always in the bedroom. It’s easier to be distracted from work because you feel like you’re still in a personal space, too. Unless you have absolutely no other options, try to avoid using the bedroom as a home office or as any other kind of space.
Breathe it in
Cleanliness and fresh air are essential to relaxing. If your bedroom gets stuffy easily and has a hard time getting rid of odors, then consider switching from fabrics to hard, easier to clean surfaces. Install a ceiling fan or lighter window treatments to better help airflow throughout the room. Nowadays, there are some fantastic Ceiling Fans out there so it is well worth taking a look at some of the different options. That is not all though. The bedroom is the perfect place to try out essential oil diffusers for aromatherapy, as well. The idea of using different scents to alter your mental state and help you relax has been tried and tested by many proponents now. Not only can it help you relax, but it can even help you sleep if you’re having trouble hitting the pillow at nighttime. Just make sure you choose the right oils for the right purpose.
One of the reasons your room might not be doing the job is that it might not feel exactly like “your” room. A lack of personality or lived-in appeal can make a room feel a little bare and a little alien. You can easily create your own photo collages to fill up your walls with treasured memories and familiar faces that give a heartwarming impact to the room. Otherwise, you can think of ways to display your passion and hobbies, whether it means installing a bookshelf or framing some of your favorite album cover art or movie posters. It’s your room, you shouldn’t feel like there are any limits on how personally you can express yourself.
The ability to find a spot to relax and sort through your thoughts for a moment is vital. If you can’t find it in your bedroom or any other part of the home, that’s a serious concern. These tips should hopefully help you restore some Zen and find your own chill den.

My son loves dogs and his new service puppy was just born two weeks ago. We’ve had to do the research on how to potty train a puppy of course, but I feel we’re so well-informed now and our pup is ready for the world! But anyway, the Puppy Dog Pals viewing was perfect for my little guy. The party helps get him excited for his new puppy that was coming home. Our friends all came and helped us celebrate the new show and soon the new family member. As you can see even the Colorado dogs came out to celebrate. Dylan is even more excited by his new puppy that is coming home. He says Bingo is just like his puppy. I know that when the new puppy arrives, I will do everything I can to ensure that the new puppy is comfortable and safe. One way that I will do this, is to get the new puppy signed up to the vets. I’ve done my research and I have found these vets here that offer mobile vet services in Melbourne. However, I am still doing my research as I want to make sure I get a vet close to home and one that will look after the puppy well.
Having a Puppy Dog Pals viewing party was right up his alley. I was so happy to see his face. He does not get excited by much. When he saw his little party, he was on cloud nine. Even better we sent my nephew pictures of the stuffed animals and he is now requesting a Puppy Dog Pals Party for his birthday next month.
There are so many cute idea’s for your party. First I would print out the free printables, direct link below. Step two take a look at the Pinterest page for some great DIY ideas.
