As you all know we love a great game night. There is nothing better then getting together with a few friends and playing a few games. After all, who doesn’t love exposing all their secrets in a game of never have i ever… Not only do you get to know each other better but its a great way to spend the night indoors. We do family game night about once a month during the summer and a whole lot more during the winter. Who wants to go out at night in the cold and rain when you can have a lot more fun staying in.

I have to say one of the best ones was Shit Happens. When you have a couple like me and Geoff that if it can go wrong it will this was right up our alley. The trick here is when you are playing always assume the worst case that could happen.

My son is so excited for Jack Jack.  He has been talking about this movie non stop for a month.  I can’t wait till he gets to see it.

Ghost Pillow

How are you sleeping at night? I know sleep is hard to come by in our house. With little guy and 2 puppies I need every minute of sleep I can get. With my neck that always hurts from the car accident and me being a hot sleeper the right pillow can make all the difference. I’ve done a little research and found that there are dozens of pillows that could replace my current set up. I’d been looking at a Latex Pillow and front sleeper pillow so I could sleep more comfortably and then I came across this pillow.

I was excited to try the Ghost Pillow I read a lot of the reviews first to see what I was in for and they were all positive. I have been one of those people who went to the local store and bought the $5 pillow. Then I bought another and another and in just a few months I spent more on them then if I had bought one Ghost Pillow. They always started off great but ended up flat and were never cooler.

When I got this one it came in an awesome box so I did not have to wait for it to fill. The outer cover of it was really soft. When I laid my head on it I could actually tell it was cooler in seconds. So far this was awesome. Now when you do get it let it air out for 24 hours. Its not a bad smell but there is a packing smell you want to air it out.

It is a firmer pillow so if you have a bad neck like mine them you are going to love this. I actually wake up with my neck feeling better. The cooler part I can actually tell the whole night when I am sleeping. I have been using this pillow for over a week and it has not gone flat at all. The only problem I have with it, is that my son now wants it. Of course, he wants the best pillow in the house lol.

    I can’t believe I have been watching this movie for 25 years.  Its funny I have saved this movie on my DVR and would not let them upgrade me because I would loose it. Now that I own the Movie I can finally upgrade.  One thing I learned nothing beats the Blu-Ray I did not even know how much was cut out for T.V.  So when I watched this one it was like watching a new movie.  I was sucked in.

With witches from the past a talking cat from the past and kids that really don’t seem to know any better this movie could not get better.  It’s funny how much I love this star studded cast and every time I watch I am still surprised to see Bette Middler, Sara Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy.  They could not have picked a better cast.  This is a great movie for the whole family you will love it as much as I do for the next 25 years.

When I walked into Sweet Suite this year and saw H2O GO I was so excited. I love great outdoor toys. As you can see we had a blast in their booth, how cute is the paradactyl. When I showed my son the pictures of the products he went nuts for the Slime Slide. Then he called my nephews and they all insisted that We had to get it.

I mean let’s be honest everyone need a slide slime in their home. This is perfect for a warm day of outdoor fun. It is easy to set up and yes you can buy more slime for when you run out. This slide is over 23 feet long then you slash right into the slime pool. How awesome is that. It also comes with 4 slime packets so you get to play a few times before you stock up again.

Now I know a lot of people are like me you have a backyard that is not set up for sliding. As you can see ours is filled with rocks. We went out and bought a few sheets of Sod laid them down and we were ready to go. Even better when we put the slide away the sod keeps on growing so it’s set up so we can go again and again. I also got a towel rail from somewhere similar to EasyHomeConcepts.com so we can wrap up in a towel as soon as we’re done playing. I didn’t want to put the towels on the ground just in case they got covered in slime so a towel rail did the trick! It’s something I would recommend investing in because it seems like a versatile piece of household furniture.

Max Goes To Jupiter

I love the idea of wrapping up a bunch of books before the Holidays and letting them pick a new one every night before the holiday.  Max Goes To Jupiter will be great to add to the book pile.  It’s a great way to get your kids excited about reading.  It’s also a great way to get in some family time.  Reading every night together can also make sure they have a love of books for years to come.

If you have a little one who loves space and dogs then you can not go wrong with Max Goes To Jupiter.  This is such a great book for any one.  Even I loved it and learned a few things.  When a kid gets a love for reading and learns something at the same time it can open a whole new world for them.

My son went nuts when he saw the little rottie on the front was just like my sisters’ dog so he took to it right away.  This story is about an awesome dog named Max who trained and goes to Jupiter to discover everything about it.  Then they report back to earth.

I love that on the sides of each page it also has facts for you to read you get to learn a little more.  This book was not only fun to read with great illustrations but it also had a lot of fun information in it. I love when i find a fun book to read with my little guy that also teaches him something.
