As most people I have always been so excited when a new Disney Movie comes out.  The animation and the songs are always a great hit.  When ENCANTO came out I knew I was going to love it.

Disney always has a great message for our kids.  After a big loss to the Madrigals family they are given a gift.  Everyone born into the family will be given a special power to help protect the family and the town.  That is until one family member does not get a power.   She is not sad but makes the best of her life helping everyone else.

No one seem to notice how much Mirabel does for the town or her family, until the power starts to fade.  They start to think its Mirabel fault yet she is the only one trying to find out why this has happened. Along the way Mirabel helps her family realize what they really want out of life and what would make them happy.  With a few people that believe in her and her belief in herself she is set on fixing the powers and helping her family.

Disney+ kicks off holiday festivities this Friday, December 24, when Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” launches on the streamer. In a new featurette, Lin-Manuel Miranda—who wrote eight original songs for the film—teams up with the voice of Mirabel, Stephanie Beatriz, to share insights about several of the film’s songs, including “Dos Oruguitas”—a Critics’ Choice Awards nominee for best original song. Miranda, who visited Colombia with directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard in 2018, infused the songs with the rhythms, instrumentation and varied styles of the South American country’s music. “’Encanto’ takes place in rural Colombia,” said Miranda, “and the music that comes out of Colombia is so beautiful.”

In the film, Mirabel often reveals her internal struggles and revelations through song. Said Beatriz, “There’s something that clicks inside her where she realizes the wheels are in motion for her to chase down her destiny. I like these heroine songs so much. We go on this major journey with the character and suddenly we know her better from the inside.”

As most of you know I have 2 of my own dogs and my moms dog who I take care of from time to time.  Know while my dogs will eat anything I give them Kava is a little more picky.  By a little more I mean she is 13 years old and we have found about 5 goodies she likes.  This seems to be her year, because she LOVED the Chippin .

We got Ron’s Gone Wrong digital download free in exchange for an honest post.  Al opinions are my own.

As most of you know we don’t get to go to the movies.  Little guy can not handle sitting in the theater.  When he saw the trailer for Ron’s Gone Wrong he went nuts. This was one of the first times that he saw a trailer and never forgot it.

When we got the digital download we could not even wait 1 day to watch he was ready with his juice and pop corn right away.

This is a great movie about a B-Bot. Names Ron.  In a world full of technology you can now have a robot that is your best friend and knows everything about you.  This friend will never be more then 6 feet away and will help you with anything you need.

When Barney’s birthday comes all he really wants his is own B-Bot.  They are expensive and his dad finally gets a chance to get him one.  One thing is wrong, Ron can not connect to the network and does not have any of the right programing.  So barney starts making up his own programing and teaching Ron.  Everyone can see that Ron is wrong but him and Barney are best friends and they will do anything to save each other.
