      Ozeri Green Earth 8in Pan


   I love Ozeri they have a wide range of home products that are all fantastic.  I have had the chance to try out quite a few of them and every one of them has worked perfect and was at a great price point. 

 


  The 8in Green earth pan is the smaller of the pan sizes it is perfect for breakfast and to make parts of meals.  I had to have bacon already cooked for another recipe and when I do this I also have to do a few bigger pieces for my little guy.  I used half of the pan for my little pieces and the other half for the bigger pieces and they both cooked perfect.   The pan cooked perfectly even so none of my bacon burned even though I had little and bigger pieces in there.  The pan is non stick so there were no worries about cleaning it up.  When I did clean it all I needed was a little soap and water and the pan was clean in seconds.  It even comes with the green pan protector.  Just place this in the pan when you are not using it and you will not have to worry about scratches.


  I am so excited that I added this pan to my collection.  The non stick makes it perfect to cook just about anything in it.  The easy clean up means less time in the kitchen for me. The Eco Friendly Ceramic coating means there is no harmful fumes to worry about.  This pan is all around perfect.

Knife Stand

  I love my ceramic Ozeri knife set.  I have used it for over a year and they cut threw everything like butter.  For all this time I of course clean them by hand but then I would have to put them back in the box to protect them.  I just found out they actually make a stand for them.  I know it does not seem like a big deal but I use these knife at least once a day so finding the box and putting them back in is actually a pet peeve of mine. Not I have then right on my counter ready for the nest use.

  

  This stand it perfect it has a no slip bottom and holds the knifes perfect.   It has a very stylish sleek design that will match almost any kitchen.  I am very pleased with this stand.  I would suggest not only the knifes but the stand too they are a great buy together.  If you love to cook like me this is the perfect duo to add to your kitchen.

Push Pan

I was so excited to try out this new pan by Love Cooking Company.  Everything I have tried with them has been fantastic and this gave me a chance to try out making my first cheese cake.  I was truly interested in finding out how it worked.  How on earth does the batter not leak out if the bottom pops out?  Will it really pop out that easily? 

   I was excited to find out it does seal very well on the bottom nothing dripped out.  At the same time it really did pop out very easily.  After I was done baking I just tapped it a few times on the bottom and it popped right out.  Hubby said it was the best cheese cake he has ever had.  The outside was cooked perfect and the inside was creamy and delicious.  Seeing how this was my first one I told him it was the entire pan.

In my recipe I used

  Crust (I like a thick crust)

1.5 cups crushed gram crackers

1 tablespoon sugar

½ cup melted butter

½ teaspoon cinnamon

      Mix all together and spread at the bottom and about 2 inched up the side of the pan

Filling

2 8oz packages of cream cheese

¾ cup sugar

1 tablespoon flour

1 tablespoon vanilla

¼ cup milk

2 eggs

  Mix all ingredients with a hand mixer.  It needs to be mixed well

Pour inside pan

Bake at 375 for about 25 minutes or until the outer edges are settled

Take out let cool about 30 minutes.

 Separate edges from pan

Tap bottom of pan on a can of anything

      

Let cake cool the rest of the way

Cover and cool in fridge for 4 hours

Serve

   The days of making a grilled cheese sandwich with your iron in your dorm room are over. (Yes guys we used to do that).   You can now make a much better tasting snack right in your room without the starch from the iron. Lol this is perfect for your dorm room or apartment.  Just plug in wait a few minutes put your quesadilla together and close.  In 3-7 minutes you have a hot and ready meal.

  Hubby did cheese and chicken, I did beans and chicken.  They both turned out perfect and hot as can be.  It’s so simple to buy a ready cooked chicken from the store shredded cheese and you are set for the perfect meal any time.

The clean up with the Imusa Quesadilla maker was so simple just a wet paper towel and wipe it down it was perfect and ready to go again next time.  This is a perfect kitchen tool for our family and I would recommend it to everyone.  Next time you come home late back to the dorms this will be a life saver.  A quick hot snack you will be so happy you got this baby.   Its smaller and light weight so finding a place to store this awesome Quesadilla maker will not be a problem.  The biggest problem you will have with it is everyone will want to use it.

Bento Style Lunch Boxes

  I have wanted a set of these since I had seen them at my sister’s house.  They are perfect to pack up lunches for hubby and especially for baby boy.  You know how kids are once one food touches another it is no loner edible.  I was paying a lot more money for single serve packages to make sure this would not happen.  Now I can buy the bigger boxes and separate them right in his lunch container.  I am also excited to make my lunch for the week.  On Sunday I can bake my chicken and steam my broccoli and make a lunch for each day of the week and be set.  No more cooking everyday for lunch.

        

  This set comes with 4 bento style lunch boxes.  You can keep them for yourself or even assign each person a color so you know when it’s missing; they are BPA free and can be put in the freezer.  If you buy a few sets you can make dinners or lunch for a few weeks and just freeze and go.  The lids fit nice and snug so no worries about it coming off and spilling everywhere.  When you are done you can just rinse and throw them in the dishwasher.  I am very excited that I now have these in my life they are going to make lunch time in our home so much easier.

Salad Spinner

  If you are anything like me you buy your lettuce every week.  I think I am going to have it every night with dinner and even lunch.  This never happens.  It sits in my drawer till I buy a new one and throw out the old one.  It’s just too much work to add in everyday making each salad one by one.  Then having to clean the lettuce, it never dries so I always have a puddle of water at the bottom of my bowl. 

       

  When I got the Ozeri salad spinner I was excited to give it a try.  I cut up the whole head of lettuce and rinsed it.  I loved that the colander you rinse it in is part of the salad spinner no dirtying 20 different bowls.  Then just place inside pop the lock and spin.  All that extra water that is usually at the bottom of my bowl came flying off.  Then just dumb the water.  The spinner locked back down and now it’s stored in its own container.  I had this front and center in my refrigerator and I actually had a salad every night.  I even had a few for lunch.  This was a perfect add to my kitchen I will be using it every week to help keep me on track and have some fantastic salads.

Parchment paper

  I had never used parchment paper before.  With how much I cook I cannot believe this has not been in my cooking arsenal.  I was a spray the pan girl.  You know what happens then, the spray sticks to your pan and eventually bakes on.  I had so many destroyed pans.  Little did I know there was this wonder paper out there I could use and everything would just slide off saving my food and my pans. 

 

  I of course had to make my chocolate cookies.  The first batch I got distracted and burnt them.  When I took my crispy cookies out of the oven I was very surprised at how easy it was to clean and start a new batch.  I just slid off the paper put on another piece and was back to baking in no time.  I did not have to scrub the burnt off the pan just remove and go. 

  My second batch turned out perfect and to cool them was no problem they slid right off the paper and best of all I had no clean up for the pan.  This is amazing paper, I can’t wait to try it out on brownies.

 

This paper is safe up to 464 degrees.  You can use it for freezing, wrapping, clean baking and even sushi rolling.  This is  a must in any kitchen.

Holiday Bigelow Tea

      Holiday Bigelow Tea Review


  If you are a tea lover like me Bigelow tea is a must check out, especially their holiday collection.  I have loved their teas for years, but I never knew of these awesome holiday flavors.  I am so used to the old normal holiday flavors by others that I did not even think to look.  When these showed up to review I was blown away.  Such unique holiday flavors and they were fantastic.


  The Salted Caramel was to die for.  The Carmel and salt scent filled the air when I made this tea. The smell and the flavor of this tea was amazing.    If you are looking for a fantastic tea to help curve your sweet tooth this is a must check out.


The Plantation mint was wonderful.  You can smell the mint right when you opened up the bag.  This one is also great if you ate too many Christmas cookies it helps sooth a sour stomach.

 The Peppermint Bark was awesome.  I don’t think there is more to say its chocolate and mint what is not to love.  This one was an awesome after dinner tea.  I could drink this one all night.


 The Constant Comment was a fantastic flavor of orange spice.  This is my all day tea.  I loved the taste I could drink it all day long and I did.  I loved that the flavor of the orange spice was strong enough to get a great flavor but it did not overwhelm the tea flavor.


 The eggnogg’n was very different.  This was such a great unique flavor you got your egg nog and tea all in one.


 The Ginger snappish was a fantastic blend of ginger with just a hint of lemon.  If you are looking for a relaxing drink at night this is the way to go.

 

  With all these great tasting holiday tea flavors you cannot go wrong.  If you are a tea lover yourself or you are looking for a gift for a friend make sure to check out their web site they have gift sets already set up and ready for you to send for the holidays.  I love Bigelow tea and I would recommend them to everyone.

Organic Fiber

Garden Of Life Dr. Formulated Organic Fiber

I love when I find a good fiber supplement, it’s great to find fiber supplements to add to your diet. Let’s be honest you have all seen my cooking page I really don’t eat as good as I should but I sure do eat good tasting food lol. Garden Of Life has two new ones out that I am excited for. These are Gluten Free, Psyllium free, Dairy free, and soy fee so even most people with food allergies can partake in these. They will help Support Occasional constipation. Promote hunger control and here we are back at my eating habits lol. Best of all neither of these had that gritty, gummy gross taste to them. One I could not even taste and the other had a very slight orange taste.

Although I loved them both I have to say the citrus was my favorite. It gave my morning water just a slight hint of taste that I loved. This one as also fantastic in a cup of green tea. It is a light flavor tea so the light flavor of citrus complemented it great.

The other one is no taste at all. This one was great in my ice tea and in smoothies. I was adding the prebiotic fiber I needed without changing the taste of my drinks at all. If you digestive track could use a little help make sure to check these two out. No matter which one you buy you will not be disappointed.

Just add one Table spoon to whatever drink you like and stir or in my case shake and you are ready to go.

       Natra Cure Hot/Cold full foot Arch relief

When I first saw these I knew I must try them.  My feet get so tires by the end of the day especially when I am on vacation.  We are running around everywhere.  They even shipped them to my mom’s house for me so I could use them while I was on the go. 

   These have 2 hot/cold packs in each sock so you can relax the top and the bottom of your feet at the same time.  To heat them up just leave them in the sock and microwave on each side for 10 seconds.  I did not think this would be enough but at least once again the company knew better than me lol.  They were so relaxing and my feet felt better in just seconds.  I would also like to note that if you are like me and your toes are always freezing in the winter the winter.  These are going to be a life saver.  I can never warm them up now I can just warm up the socks and be comfy all winter long.

 

  To cool down your feet which is awesome when my house is 90 degrees inside just put the gel packs in the freezer for 2 hours and place them back in the socks.  Slip on and cool off immediately. 

  These were just as fantastic as I thought they would be.  The only problem I have with them is hubby keeps on trying to steal them.  Both of his feet had to be rebuilt after the car accident and he is in love with these.  If they can help him trust me they can help everyone.
