These are the same great Muppet Babies you knew as a kid they are cute and fun , just with better picture quality lol.  I love the adventures they go on.  There is nothing like a fantastic imagination.

  • Smooth Motion. Many stationary bikes use a friction resistance that can cause jerky movements as you pedal. This isn’t ideal for allowing you to focus on your work, not to mention your joints. The DeskCycle uses magnetic resistance so the pedal motion is smooth— allowing your to truly focus on the work, not the motion. You can also pedal in forward or reverse motion- both with the same smoothness- to better target different muscles.
  • Quiet Operation. I’ve been on many a good stationary bike throughout the years and some of them can get a little loud. That’s just fine for home or the gym… but at work or school can be quite the distraction. Honestly, I didn’t notice the noise at all when in use. There was perhaps a very small humming noise (think as much noise as you might find from a very small desk fan— or even a computer fan)… but nothing that we found to be of a distraction at all.
  • Wide Resistance Range. DeskCycle has 8 resistance settings to best fit your fitness goals and abilities. At a 1-2, there is very minimal if any resistance. I found this great just for long term movement… easy, but constant. My daughter at almost 5-years-old likes to use it at this setting as well. At a 3-4 it’s a little more of an effort put forth, but still within my ability to maintain my focus on work with a good constant movement. This tends to be my most used setting. At a 5+, I find that I truly get a great cardio workout, increasing my heart rate and feeling it in my legs. Again, no matter your goals or needs, these resistance levels will help you reach those and provide just the workout YOU need— be it just moving, or getting your heart rate going and working those muscles hardcore. I find myself doing intervals at various speeds and resistance levels to get the ultimate workout myself.
  • Clear Display. The DeskCycle comes with a display that includes distance, speed, time and calories burned. It is very clear and easy to read and understand. Beyond that though, it’s versatile, you can keep it on the DeskCycle itself, OR put it on the optional stand that will allow you to keep it on your desk, easily visible while you work. I also found it very helpful that they offer a calorie counter on their website. While the tracker on the display can be a fair estimate, there are many factors that keep it from being a truly accurate count- age, size, resistance, speed, distance etc are all factors that cannot be measured without more expensive technology. This counter on their website takes all of those factors into consideration so that if burning calories is a high priority, this can help you to do so.
  • Stable Base. Have you ever seen a stationary bike that seemed to wobble from side to side when you pedaled? Chances are this was due to a more narrow base and higher center of gravity. The DeskCycle offers a wider base (20 inches wide in the front) with lower center of gravity. Even going top speeds, it was very stable…again making it an ideal option wherever you plan to use it.
  • Comfortable Pedals.From my kids or my own small feet to my husband’s much larger size, these pedals truly were comfortable for all of us. They’re very wide, so there’s no slipping. They also feature Velcro straps to keep you comfortable even when pedaling for longer periods of time.
  • Low Under Desk Profile. Regardless of which version you choose, they offer the lowest profile of any other magnetic bike by at LEAST 5 inches. The highest pedal height on the original DeskCycle is 10 inches. This means it can be used under a 27 inch tall desk (from floor to underneath bottom of desk) but anyone 5’8″ or shorter. Taller people will need a taller desk for more clearance. This is the difference in the DeskCycle and the DeskCycle 2. While all other features mentioned are the same, the DeskCycle 2 has a 9 inch max pedal height…making it more ideal for those who are a bit taller OR who have shorter desks. You can adjust it to fit your needs. At just under 5 foot myself, I found either worked very well for me, but I love that the DeskCycle 2 provides another option for those that need it.

Regardless of which option you choose, the DeskCycle or DeskCycle 2 can be a great way to incorporate more movement into your day to day. It will improve your health, your focus and you productivity. If you are anything like me you love this new tea craze going on.  Teas that are great for your body and mind.  Trying to find the best ones for you can be hard these days.  I not only want the benefits, I also want it to taste great.  When I got the chance to try out Bondi Beach Tea I was excited.  When I checked out the reviews first and they had some great ones, people were raving about them so I knew I had to try them too.

The Bondi Slim you make like any loose-leaf tea then for the first 28 days drink one cup in the morning before breakfast and one cup about 3 hours before dinner.  After the first 28 days you then just drink one cup a day for maintenance.

The Colon Cleanse Tea like the other make like you normally would.  Then drink 1 cup at night one hour before bedtime.  Now normally when it says drink at night this makes for a very bad night for me I am up all night running to the bathroom.  I though well let’s give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised.  I did not wake up one time during the night to run to the bathroom.  This is one I can actually take at night like they say.

SO far, I am very pleased with the results and the taste of Bondi beach tea.  After drinking this I could tell after day 2 my bloating was way down. I have more energy and best of all I am not living in the bathroom for these results.

Great Games Coming From Goliath Games

My son gets so excited when new board games show up.  I love that the games Goliath Games sends are not only fun, but also great for his imagination.  These great games are going to be released tomorrow. Make sure to add these to your collection for family game night.  A little popcorn some great games and family what else can you ask for.

Pop Rocket was a blast.  My son loves stars and this was right up his alley. You fill it with the stars and pull the string then you put out the cups where you think they will land and let the fun begin.  If you have a little one that loves stars and stuff that will explodes then this is a great way to go.  I also love that they did not fly too far when this popped so we did not have to rush to pick them off the floor before the puppies got them.

       

Do you have a kid that knows everything?  Then Kids Know Best is the one for you.  Kids vs adults in our house.  I hate to say that when ever we have one like this my nephew always wins.  I think he secretly study’s everything beforehand, but to be honest he is just way to smart for is age. Lol This is going to be a great game to get everyone involved and having a blast.

Are you a true tea lover?  I love everything tea from the teas themselves to the beautiful tea sets cups and more I love it all.  When I saw tea bloom I was so excited I love fruity teas and the blooms are beautiful.  Of course, I just moved and can not find my tea pot for the life of me, but that would not stop me from trying these fantastic teas.  So, you get to see this bloom from a beautiful Pyrex.

This is so easy to use Heat your water to a boil. Place one tea flower in the tea pot or mug.  In my case a Pyrex so you all can see the beauty. Cover it with hot water and let steep until the leaves have opened fully.  Swirl the tea when done to balance the flavor and enjoy.  Each flower can be Steeped 2-3 times so you can enjoy more then once.

Have you had the chance to play with Orbeez yet? I got the chance to check them out at Sweet Suite 18 and I am in love.  They are especially fantastic if you have a special needs child like I do. He loves sensory toys and these are right up his alley.

 

These are so cute.  When you get your awesome Orbeez its going to be a surprise who you get.  As you can see from the video take out your little guy to compare because I though we had one and my son was even more excited when I pulled him out and he got Batty lol.  Everything you need to see who you got is right on the bottom.

When you pull off the plastic make sure to take the items off the bottom, you will not want to turn it over full of water lol.  Then as you fill with water you will reveal who your new buddy is.  I love that when you empty out the water it goes back and you can do it over and over again. You can also take out your new buddy to play and the Orbeez. It comes with a little topper too so you can insert it and twirl your surprise new buddy.
