If you have not watched Once Upon A Time it is a must.  Its all our favorite story book characters come not only into our world, but we also get to see them in their world.  With a lot of twists and turns you never saw coming it will suck you in. I was so sad this year when it ended.  Now at least I can watch the whole last season any time I want.  The final season of Once Upon A Time has come to Blu-Ray and I could not be more excited.  I feel like I have spent my whole life with these characters.

DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On #Netflix Out Today

OMG we are so excited we love the Trolls in our home.  The storys the music we love it all.  A great way to get my little guy to calm down at night is a new episode of Trolls.

 

Our favorite Trolls are back in all new hair-raising adventures in the third season of DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On! Six new episodes of this delightfully musical series premiere on Netflix this Friday, August 24.

DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On! returns with the voices of Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect) as “Branch”, Amanda Leighton (The Fosters, This Is Us) as “Poppy”, Kari Wahlgren as “Bridget”, Fryda Wolff as “DJ Suki” and “Satin/Chenille”, Walt Dohrn as “Smidge”, David Koechner (The Office, Anchorman)  as “Buzby”, along with more of the colorful voice cast from the previous seasons. This season includes five new original songs and tons of more fun in Troll Village!

Synopsis: Poppy, Branch and all of Troll Village are back in all new hair-raising adventures in season 3 of DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On! While Branch must learn the ancient Trolls martial art of “hair-jitsu,” Smidge tries to impress her new crush, the village “critter-narian,” and DJ Suki sets out to stage the most awesome party ever.

Are you a creative person?  Well no worries weather you are creative or like me and have no creative bone in your body this machine is still fun.  The 3Doodler is a 3D art pen you can use to create what every you imagine.  If you are like me and can’t figure out what you want to create even better they have little templet sets for you to use.  The Make Your Own Food Keyrings set was right up our alley.

When he saw the pizza one we had to try and make it.  Even though I have no natural talent for this it was still easy to use and I don’t think it came out to bad.  This was only our first try so I say we did great.

When the pen heats up you don’t have any worries about it burning your hand.  You can’t even tell.  There were no worries that when my son uses it that it would be too hot for him.

Each of these six-inch sticks can give you over 60 inches of doodling.  The first few we made we used way too much.  As we got a hang of it they really did go a long way.  I love that each pack even has enough for you to make your first few mistakes and still have fun.

The pen is charge able so make sure to charge it up before you are ready to start.  There are no batteries to buy for this just charge and go.  No worries about Christmas morning and not having batteries for it.  If you are giving this to your kids you might want to take out the night before and charge it up for them.

We had a blast with the 3Doodler and think it is a must have for the holidays this season.  Now that I see how it worked my mind is racing on all the great cosplay items I can make this year. The 3doodler start set is great for kids 8+ or if you are like me for the 39 year old.  Everyone will have fun with this one.

Monster Match from North Star Games #NorthStarGames

Hug A Monster

So, me and Patty are waiting in line at Sweet Suite scrolling through twitter and at almost the same time we look at each other and said “OMG I want to hug a monster” So of course we did.  While we were at the North Star Booth we got to play Monster Match and I knew right away my son would love it.

North Star Games explained it so easily we were playing in a few seconds.  My little guy loves games but unless the rules are few and easy to learn we normally have to play our own way.   Roll the dice and point to the right monster card that matched the dice.  Roll monster with 1 eye, point as quick as you can then you get the card.  Try and collect the most cards.

This is a great learning game for my son.  Monster Match rules are easy, I can say we have to play by the rules which helps him learn to follow direction.  Plus being the fastest at matching will not only help his memory but also his reflexes.  Besides all this it is fun.  This is a fun way to help your child learn to play by the rules and work on coordination at the same time.

This was a game that is not only for kids, Hubby and I also had a blast playing it. If you love family game night then make sure to have this one ready for your next night.  Everyone will be excited when you pull this one out.  I have to also note I love that it is all small and fits into this little cute package.  No need to store a huge box they packaged this one up right.

As you know I have been looking high and low for some of the best toys for this holiday season.  Cupcake Surprise is a must on that list.  Where were these cuties when I was young?  Ok to be honest I don’t have to be young to love them.  I have one sitting on my desk and love to pop her in and out while working.  Its kind of a great stress reliever for me.

           

The Cupcake minis are so cute. They remind me of a proper southern girl.  They have their fancy dresses and their very cute hats.

      

The bigger ones come in a few different ones.  They have the Classic Tales, Masquerade, Bridal, and Fairies.  Each one of these are so cute.

The Fairy Tale ones I got were so cute. They came with a brush, and, and crown.  You can choose the crown or the cupcake hat.  I am a princess girl so of course I went with the crown.  These also have scents.  I love that the wand and crown fold right up in them when you have them in Cupcake form so no little pieces laying around.

When you fold them up they are also a very cute Cupcake and even better they are scented. Little guy is special needs and scents calm him down.  He sniffs everything.  He has picked the mini to keep for himself.  He loved to sniff the great scent and pop her up and down.

I love that they are easy to fold up and down so I don’t have to worry about little ones being able to do it.  I remember when we were kids and some of the fold out toys you needed the Jaws of Life and the muscle of a high school football player to get them open and closed.  No more these beauty’s just pop right open.

Have you been missing the Muppet Babies. I loved this when I was a kid now my son can watch too. Muppet Babies: Time To Play will be released on Disney DVD Aug 14th.
