First of all let me start out with a huge thank you to Pinch me for sending me there great New York Fashion Week Box.  It was filled with so many great products and goodies me and baby boy were so excited to open it up and check it out.   The only problem I had with the box is I did not know how fabulous it would be and opened it in front of baby boy I will never get to try the popcorn. Lol

I love to have great art in our house. When it comes to my taste I love pictures I love to see places I want to be or want to go and some days I can just stare and day dream. I also love the fact that having art on our walls helps to promote my sons creative side. No one was more excited when this picture showed up then baby boy he thought it was one of the best things in the world and insisted that it was his and it should go in his room.

The creativity of our kids is dwindling away with all the video games out there with no imagination, and art classes being cut from schools I truly believe that we should not only have art all around out house so they can see it daily but also encourage our kids to try it themselves. Buy them the pictures then get them a camera and have them go take some pictures of their favorite things. You never know you might have a budding artist in your home and maybe one day Fulcrum will be selling his paintings or pictures.

I picked the Diane Romanello – Among Friends with the black frame and white matting and Plexiglas. When it came in and hubby was putting it up he was so excited by how it hangs he said it is the best one he has ever seen. This is high praise from hubby. The pictures its self was not only beautiful but looked great. The matting and the frame were perfect and looked fantastic. They packed it well for shipping so everything showed up perfect. I’m glad we went with the people we did, though next time I may use one company a friend recommended for international shipping new york, and see if they’ll deliver to me too. Regardless, when it came to the gallery they had a very wide range of paintings and pictures to choose from so whether you are looking for something particular or something you have never seen before you are sure to find your perfect combo here. They have great prices and they have great sales, they are a don’t miss out on for sure.

  I love aprons I use them daily when I cook.  No need to ruin a good outfit.  I have collected them for years and one thing I always want is a cute one.  If I am going to cover up my cute outfit it might as well be with a cute apron.  When I got the chance to try out Flirty Apron I was so excited they had a ton of cute ones to choose from.  The hardest part of this review was choosing which adorable apron I was going to review.


  This was such a cute apron with lace and red ribbons.  The quality of this apron was wonderful.  The stitching and the material was good quality and they had a fantastic price.  This great apron is designed to fit all sizes so no worried about sizes here just open and tie you are done.   I also loved that it has pockets; I am always carrying around the phone a Sippy cup and who knows what else when I am cooking and I love that I can just stick them in the pockets and have my hands free to work.  It cleaned up very easily when I spilled.  It did not have cleaning instruction so I did it just like I would my delicates.  Just put on delicate cycle and I let it air dry I did not know how it would do in the dryer.  But it dried in no time and looked fantastic.  They have a wide range of cute aprons to choose from I will definitely have to get a few more so I am always cooking with style.

We got the chance to check out this great timeshare rentals site and loved it.

 

If you are anything like our family you need a vacation but let’s be honest usually the price of just the hotel room would break the bank, and if you have to get more then 1 room because of kids or other family you are out of luck.  This is a great site that will help hook you up with people who have time shared for rent.  Such a great idea.  They are not going to use and you need one.  This could not work out better.

 

The problem of needing another room not a problem anymore most of the timeshare rentals are more than 1 room or even if there is only 1 room it is usually separated from the living space so little ones can head off to bed while you get some snuggle time with hubby.  I think this is such a great idea me and hubby will be using this site a lot this year.  We love to travel and if we can get a better place to stay at a lower price it is a no brainer for us.   You would not believe some of the deals Cancun for 21 a night even I could afford that one.

Time shares are such a great idea someone has one that does not need it makes a great cheaper vacation for you.  Also gives you the chance to check out some if you have ever thought of getting one yourself.

Personalized note cards

I got the chance to tryout some of their flat cards and love them.

 

I am always in the need of some cute cards.  I am very much old fashion when it comes to thanks you cards, invitations, and just messages I love to send cards in the mail.  So I jumped at the chance to try these out.   These were perfect for us we can use them as all three and everyone just loved getting them in the mail.  I got them with baby boy’s name so when he sends out his thank you cards or other notes everyone knows that they were sent with love from baby boy.   Of course they had a ton of designs to pick from so I picked the Rocket Ship Flat cards for baby boy.   They came with their own envelops so no need to go out and try to find some that fit and due to the thick stock of the paper they were very easy to get into the envelope. No hassle at all.

The cards are made on a thick paper and look very nice.  These are right up there with the big price company’s but you won’t have to pay the big price to get them.  Not only are these cards on great paper but they are beautifully made.  There were so many different designs to pick from the hardest part of this review was picking just one design.  They are very easy to order from just pick your design and what you would like on them and head to check out.  They came very fast it was not a 2 week waiting period like a lot of other customized printing shops.

I would recommend these note cards to everyone.

Do you have a little one that is a super hero or are you one yourself then you must check out these great costumes.  They have so many you can choose from you are sure to find your perfect one.  Not only was the kids collection huge but the adult collection was too.  I love the fact that they offer affordable costumes year round.  If you want to play dress up with the kids you do not have to wait till Halloween to buy a costume.   They have so many to pick from and at a great price I could have gone nuts in this store.  Looking for something besides just superhero you will not be disappointed you can find so many great different ones here.

I got the captain America’s daughter costume and not only was it comfortable but it was very cute.  (Please know when playing super hero I suggest a nice pair of tennis shoes not healed boots that is asking for a twisted ankle).   This was very easy to move in and well made. I cannot tell you how many costumes I have bought that got to me and I had to cut loose strings off and re iron them from the wrinkles.  When a costume showed up for Halloween or to dress up and play super hero I don’t want to spend extra time fixing it.  This one was in perfect shape and has a lot of detail on it. The armbands and the color were particular nice.  I do have to say this costume is a little short and I am 5 2” and it was at the limit for me.  If you were any taller you would need a pair of leggings to go under or you will be flashing a whole lot of people.  I am very happy with this costume and when baby boy saw me in it he loved it ran up to me and started yelling HI and gave me a big hug.  I don’t think he knew it was me.lol

I got the chance to try and the prepaid card from card.com and love it.

This is such a great card to use.  If you are like me Christmas time is a struggle with this great card you can have a portion on each check put right on the card and when Christmas time comes around you have all your money in one place ready to shop.   They have no credit checks , They can be used everywhere Visa or Mastercard are accepted and Atm’s everywhere.   Another great thing about this card is if you do a lot of shopping online you can use the pre paid card no more worries about if someone gets ahold of your number they can not spend what is not in their.

 

One of my favorite parts about this company is how many card designs they had for you to choose from.  As you all know I love accessorize everything.  I love the fact that I could get a cute card and not have to pay extra to have it.  As you can see I just had to pick the unicorn.

They do have a $5.95 monthly fee but if you do at least $800.00 in direst depostis on it a month that fee is waved.  If you get federal benefits you can still use this card, just fill out the form that comes with the card to get the direct deposit started.  Transfering funds from an existing bank account is easy and free.

I really liked this card. Easy to use and great way to keep track of your money.

Every year for Christmas either I or hubby dress up as Santa to surprise our little guy and my nephew.  One thing we never had was a Santa sack.  So when I got the chance to check out this Santa sack I was so excited.  When it came I was very impressed by the quality of this sack (its nicer looking then our Santa suit lol).  This sack was made very well with very good stitching.  It can hold a ton of weight and yes I tried it out.  It is a velvet 30” x 36” sack.  This is going to be the perfect accessory for out Christmas Eve night.  The Santa sack sells for $12.95 and make sure to check out around their web site, as I am looking they have a ton of different discount codes.

They have a ton of different Christmas accessories, and costumes to choose from.  They don’t only do the holidays they have a ton of other items to choose from part themes to the holidays, if you are planning on having people over they are a must check out.  As I was checking out their site you know me I had to look around on other sites too to see how the prices match up, for all the items I looked up I could not find them for a better price on the other sites.  This will for sure be my go to site for the future.   Their prices are the best and with the coupon codes and the quality of product I have received it is unbeatable.  Their shipping was fast and when I did have a question they were very prompt to answer me.  This is a very great company always ready to help and some great items to choose from.

Campus Book Rentals

If you have not heard of campus book rentals it is a must for any college student.   I cannot tell you the amount of money I spent on books while in college.  Then when the semester was over I could not even sell them back because an author had written one different sentence in the book.  I ended up throwing away so many books that had nothing to do with my major it almost made me sick.  Campus book rentals would have been a big money saver for me and my family.

  When signing up with them there is no fee the price to rent the book is it, and when you are done with them you just send out in the pre paid box they sent with the book .  You can still highlight the book as you normally would.  They just ask you be respectful when doing it because other will be using the book after you.   If you decide that you love this book and you will need it in the future you can also purchases the book.   The prices are also incredible.  For instance for my major I would have had to get Criminalistics : An Introduction to Forensic Science To buy it brand new I would have to pay around $187.00, But to rent it for the semester it would only cost me around $37.00.  That is UN believable.

    They are also a company that does good, for every book they rent they give money to Operation Smile and have committed to donate a minimum of 80 additional surgeries between June 2013 and June 2014.  This is such a fantastic organization to give too and they really make a difference.

 

 

They also have a new program for you all.  If you have already bought that book and you want to get more from it you can get back an average of 2-4% more from renting your book out then for selling it.  It s not hard to do just head to the tab on their page to fill out the form and get the books to them.  They will rent them out for you and you will get a part of the money every time they are rented.  This is a fantastic deal for any of you who have a ton of books lying around, and you never got the opportunity to return.

This is such a fantastic idea for a company.  I like the fact that they are helping our college student get their education at a lower cost and they are also doing something great for others with the Operation smiles

Holiday Colonial Candle Review

  One of the best gifts to give this year is a great candle.  They are not only a great gift for a hostess but also for the woman in your life.  When you find candles that smell as good as these and burn perfect you should pick up a few to have on hand.   I was amazed at the wonderful scents that were in their holiday collection.  I am used to everyone just having the cinnamon and the pine smell.  They truly had some awesome and wonderful scents.

These are 22oz jar candles with double wicks.  They burnt perfect for me and the scents just filled up the room.  We each had a favorite mine was the White Pear & Cedar.  I truly did love every scent in this collection but the White Pear & Cedar was a very relaxing and calming scent to have burning in the bathroom while relaxing in the bath tub.
