How to Keep Hair Dye from Fading

Girls care about how they look, they are a great follower of different interesting dressing styles and of course, the big fan of amazing hairstyles. But frequently dying or styling hair will ruin our hair, so finally we find this better way – wearing wigs! Wigs are a best alternative to dying our own hair and wigs are rally awesome, we can effortlessly achieve the look that we want without any damage to our own hair! While, here comes the problem – how to hide our own long hair to put the wig on?

1.Wait At Least 72 Hours Before Washing

It may take about 72 hours for the cuticle layer of hair to close and trap in the hair dye. If you wait a full 72 hours before washing, you will notice that the color of the hair seems to lock in and last longer.

2.Avoid Hot Water

Avoid too hot water when you wash your hair or hair system. Overheated water can cause damage to the outer cuticle and make your hair more porous, making fresh hair color easily escape through your open pores. I know, it’s easy to wash your hair system, but sometime it’s tough for you to wash your original hair with cool water. If you want to maintain your hair color longer and fresher, try to wash with cool water or lukewarm water.

 

3.Don’t Wash Your Hair Frequently

It is common sense that the hair will fade every time you wash your hair. Reduce washing times thus to reduce color loss. It is recommend to wash your original hair 2-3 times a week and wash your colored hair system about every six times you wear it.

4.Use Sulfate-free Shampoo and Conditioner

Sodium laureth sulfate, also known as sodium laureth ether sulfate, is used to make your shampoo and conditioner sudsy. They have the ability to attract water and oil, thus to efficiently lift dirt and oil from the body and rinse down the drain when mixed with water. But the problem is, they are too good at doing their job. They will strip the natural oils and moisture in your hair, which can lead to the fading of your colored hair.

 

5.Avoid Heat

Try to avoid heat styling tools, such as blow dryer, flat iron, and curling iron. It’s often the price to pay for a great style. If hot tools are a must, do not forget to spray on heat protestant product. This will somehow minimize the damage to your hair. 

 

6.Minimize Exposure to Sunlight

Stay away from the sun if you don’t have a hat, otherwise your hair color will fade. If you want to do any outdoor activities, such as hiking or going to the beach, make sure to cover your hair or hair system up to reduce hair exposure to the sunlight.

BURBANK, Calif. (May 14, 2020) – Disney+ announced today that the moving and inspirational feature film “Clouds” will premiere exclusively on the streaming service this fall. The film, which recently completed production in Montreal, is based on the memoir Fly a Little Higher by Laura Sobiech, Zach Sobiech’s mother. Directed and produced by Wayfarer Studios co-founder Justin Baldoni (“Five Feet Apart”), the project is the first narrative film acquisition from the Disney+ Global Content team and will be available exclusively in all Disney+ markets.

“Clouds” is the true story of Zach Sobiech, a musically gifted 17-year old living with a rare bone cancer (osteosarcoma). The film follows Zach’s journey over the course of his senior year as he navigates the complexities of love, friendship, family and leaving behind a musical legacy. The film stars Fin Argus (Brat’s “Total Eclipse”) as Zach Sobiech, Sabrina Carpenter (“The Hate U Give”) as his best friend and bandmate Sammy, Madison Iseman (“Annabelle Comes Home,” “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”) as Zach’s girlfriend Amy, Thomas Everett Scott (“13 Reasons Why,” “La La Land”) and Neve Campbell (“Skyscraper,” “House of Cards”) as his parents, Laura and Rob.
