  I cannot tell you how many times this summer I heard from people “the sun has come back what kind of sunscreen do you use?”  Really gals why are you not using sunscreen all year round.  This is truly an all year round must have.  No one wants skin cancer or too look like an old dried leather couch in the next few years.  You need to be wearing it all year to protect yourself from the rays.  They are not just going to get you when the sun is bright and warm.  Have you ever play out in the snow.  It can be clouded over and you can burn in less than an hour.  Don’t be crazy all.

 


  This awesome sunscreen is SPF 40 and water resistant for 40 minutes.  You can wear this one at the pool or just playing around and not have to worry.  I used this one on my face and it was not greasy at all.  I did not get any breakouts with it.  I also used it under my makeup it seemed to make my makeup go on smoother.  I truly loved this one.  It’s so hard to find a non greasy sunscreen these days.   This one also has no scent so if you are very sensitive to smells this one is definitely one you want to have around.


 

I am truly in love with this sunscreen and would recommend it to everyone all year round.

There is no question in my mind why this awesome dry shampoo has to go on the Summer Must Have list. This one worked like a dream and had a very fresh smell. Just spray on and work in a little and you are ready to go. Whether it’s because you hair is a little to greasy this morning and there is no time for a shower, or you just need a little volume this one is perfect for you. If you swim a lot this is a perfect size to keep in your beach bag for a fresh touch up before you head out at night.

Last night I washed my hair and straightened it. I knew I was going to have a busy morning so I was trying to save a little time. Unfortunately I am a hot sleeper and I sweet all night long. When I woke up it was time to go but my hair was greasy and has no volume at all. Just a few sprays of this fantastic dry shampoo and I was ready to go for the day. It is fantastic stuff, and whilst it may not be the best shampoo for colored hair it is great in a pinch. This is not just a quick fix that won’t last my hair looked fantastic all day long.

  I have to admit when I was first asked to review this carrier stick I had no idea what it did.  After a little research I found out you use this on your body, one swipe or two and add your essential oils on top of the swipe and work in.  This will help dilute essential oils on your skin.  You will still get all the great benefits of the oils but it will aid in carrying the oils over your skin. 

 

  This was actually a big size with just using a swipe or two you will not be using a ton of it at a time and it will last you for quite a long time.  I used this with peppermint oil for my sore muscles and I loved it.  I still got all the benefits of the oil but I was really using a whole lot less oil then I normally would.    I also love that this is made in the USA with 100% natural products.  You can even use this one kids without the worry about all the chemicals. 

  If you are like me and love your oils this is a perfect add to your collection.  Get all the benefits of the oils but also the benefits of the Carrier stick while using less of your oils.

Classic Snow White Costume

      Classic Snow White Costume

  I am so excited with Halloween coming I got the chance to review the Classic Snow White Costume.  Don’t get me wrong I like the sexy costumes they have out but let’s be honest I am trick-or-treating with a 4 year old at the end of October.  I would freeze to death.  Plus I don’t need to be sexy when trick-or-treating with a 4 year old those costumes to me is better left for adult parties. 

  I still want to be cute and dressed up for the holiday and this is the perfect costume for me.  It is not only light and flowing but I am fully covered to help keep the wind off me.  The stitching on this costume was fantastic.  It did not come with a ton of strings hanging that I have to cut like a lot of other costumes do.  As you can tell it is a little long for me but hey I am 5 foot 2 I have never found anything that is not too long for me.lol.  If you are looking for some great costume ideas don’t forget to check out Costume Super Center on Twitter.   

 

I love that the top has the ribbon to tighten or loosen.  If you have a bigger chest for your size you can adjust this so it does not look like you are popping out everywhere.  This is a two piece costumes it comes with the dress and the headband to finish off your Snow White look.   I loved this costume and think everyone should check out Costume Supercenter they have a wide range of costumes for everyone.  Whether you want to go classic or sexy they will have the perfect one for you at a great price.

               La Fresh Travel –Lite

When I first tried these it was from my Tom box subscription box and I knew from the first time I used the Oil Free Makeup remover wipes I had to know more about their other products.   They have a few different individually packed wipes for all different needs. They are perfect to keep in your purse for on the go, or in your bag when traveling. These are something every woman should have on hand. I got to try the Oil-free makeup wipes, the Female Hygiene Wipes and the Antiperspirant wipes.

 

 

The picture above is what came off my face after I had washed it twice. It swiped off the eye makeup and the makeup left in my pours with a just a few swipes. My face was left feeling fresh and clean and no residue at all.   I love that I can keep these with me and freshen up at any time. Having a greaser face this time of year I have to make sure I keep it refreshed or I will break out like crazy.   These are great they come in a travel package I can keep them in my purse and by my bed and use them whenever I need them. Also since they are in a smaller container the package does not lose its sealing power like most of the big wipes do. I hate when you buy wipes that comes with 40 wipes but after using 10 of them the package wont seal anymore and they all dry up. What a waste of money

 

The female Hygiene wipes are perfect to throw in your purse and always have with you. There are so many uses you can use them to cleanse and refresh after a workout. If you don’t have time to shower and you have a pack of these in your purse at least you will not feel as sweaty and dirty when you are off running your errands. They also came in really handy when I was at a rest stop on our road trip and guess what the bathroom was out of toilet paper.   They don’t leave that gross filmy feeling after you use them. Make sure to have these with you at all times.

 

 

I had never used an Antiperspirant wipes before. These are fantastic for me. I always forget to put any on till it’s too late. With these great wipes I can have them with me at all times. If I forget I just pull out and use. I also love they help cool me off and cleaned me up at the same time. These don’t leave any residue, it did leave me a little sticky but it only lasted like 20 seconds till it dried. It left me fresh and clean all day long. Stock up on these babies.

   I was so excited to get the chance to work with Vaseline.  These products are one of the best and the spray moisturizer is defiantly one of my summer must haves.  I would love to say that every night after my bath I take an extra half hour to put on lotions and replenish my skin.  We all know as a mom this time does not exist.  Some days I just have to be happy that I am clean.  By the time my bath is done I have a 4 year old knocking on the door and a husband that is calling for dinner.  I was so excited when this showed up it truly is a spray on, rub and go product.  It takes mere seconds to replenish my skin and have it glowing.  I keep it in the bathroom and I am ready to go.


  I love that this is non greasy.   Have you ever tried opening a bottle of water after putting on lotion?  It is impossible.  With this lotion it’s not a problem.  During the summer we all have those great tans.  Nothing looks worse than when you have a great tan but it’s hidden under dry ashy skin.  In just a few seconds this spray will change how your skin looks and feels.  It will glow, and best of all- no more dry itchy skin.  The spray lid also locks so if you are going to the beach where the salt is going to dry out your skin there are no worries, you can lock the spray top and take this along with you.


  I love the smell of the Cocoa Radiant – it’s truly a summer smell.  Makes me think of summer nights next to a pool.  This spray is sold in stores everywhere so next time you are out and about pick up something special for you.  Your skin will thank you.

  I have heard a lot in the press and from friends about Coconut Oil in the last few weeks to I was so excited to try out OrganicZazzy coconut oil.  This one truly is pure oil.  I used it right after a nice hot bath and it soaked right into my shin.  It left my skin so shinny I loved it.  If you make your own aromatherapy’s this one if perfect for you to use.  It had a long shelf life so no worries about it going bad on you.  It has a 5 year shelf life but I think after you use it there is no way it’s going to be sitting around for 5 years.lol


  If you are going to use it before going outside I do suggest you mix in some sun screen.  You want the nice shinny skin not the sun burns.  The natural saturated fats in this will also stimulate hair growth.  Go ahead and cover your hair.  Wait about an hour and wash as you normally would and see the shine just come through.  This Coconut has so many health benefits for skin and hair it’s a great buy.   When I got the chance to try out their products I was so excited.  With summer season in full effect bikinis are a must.  The one bad thing about this season is the bumps and in grown hairs I get from saving.  For me shaving is a daily chore my hair grows fast.  This means a lot of the ingrown hairs and bumps.  Now I don’t have to worry any more.  When it first showed up I used the Bump Terminator ( this comes in regular and Alcohol Free) to get rid of the bumps I already have. In just 2 days they were gone and not only was my bikini line looking better but also my underarms  After I had gotten rid of them I used the Bump Zapper an after shave lotion you just apply after you shave to help keep the bums and ingrown hairs away.  It is a nice soothing lotion you can use both of these on your bikini area, legs, underarm and face.  Were ever you shave this is a great set for you.  My husband gets the worst bumps and saving burns on his face he started using this and instantly tried to take my supply.lol This set worked wonders.  I have never used a product that worked as efficiently and quickly at these two did. 

 

  They make two other great products that I think you will love.  A French Lavender Eau De Toilette Spray, and Lavender of Provence Linen water.  The French lavender smells wonderful.  This is a very nice relaxing smell just a few sprays in the right spots and you will get a very soft but lovely smell all day long.  The linen water is not only great for ironing your clothes to keep that nice relaxing smell but you can also use it as a spray to freshen other linens in your house.  I used this on my bed at night and the smell would just relax me right to sleep.  


I loved all of their products and would recommend them to everyone.  This whole set definitely has to join our summer must have event.  Whether you are heading to the beach or the pool you will be looking great without all the ugly bumps from shaving.  Then head home for a nice relaxing night with a little lavender.

I have been a fan of Michael Todd products for awhile now.  They have a wide range of beauty products for all your needs.   The eye Eraser Duo I was especially interested in.  My eyes are truly the oldest looking part of me.  As a busy mom there is never a guarantee of enough sleep and I always have dark circles and puffy eyes.  This great Duo helps with the appearance of fine lines, puffiness and dark circles this was right up my alley.

 

  I was truly wondering how much work this was going to be.  Once you add in machine you can be talking hours a night but this one was not only easy to use but took just minutes a night.   Now I have to tell you my favorite part.  It warms up.  When you use the eye eraser with the intensive eye cream for one minute on each area (you can use around eyes and lips) it gives you a warm sensation.  It does not get hot just warms a little I love it.  I also love that there is no on and off the  eye eraser will sense when you touch your face with it and automatically start working, and shut off as soon as you pull away from your face.  The cleanup is very easy just use a tissue to wipe off and you are done.


The puffiness and dark circles started getting better after just a few uses.  With how easy this is to use and the difference it makes I would completely recommend it to everyone.  You might not get all the sleep you need but you can look like you did.
