  I love imagination toys for little guy.  When I can get him to play and use his imagination I love it.  The play and learn shopping cart is perfect for him.  He goes grocery shopping in our cabinets and loves to pretend to pay and of course we have to bag up his groceries.  This is the perfect size cart for him fits him perfect.

  

  One of my favorite things about this grocery cart is it was so easy to put together.  It took me less the 2 minutes and it was time to play.  I also love that the sticker area to put the sticker on was big.  I did not have to be perfect for it to look good.   The food that came with it was also great.  He loved the eggs the most.  Of course he never gets to play with our real eggs but he loves them.  These are realistic looking eggs in an egg holder.  They now live in my fridge and he gets to take them out and play with them.

   I was so excited when I got the chance to work with Teach My again.  The ones we got last year are still to this day one of little guys’ favorite tings to play with.  This new set will help teach reading, printing, numbers and math. I love that this is a woman owned company.  When it first showed up he was so excited to get started. 

    

  We opened it up and played for at least 5 hours the first day.  Now every morning he wakes up and wants to play again.    I love that this whole set fits in its own carrying case.  It’s easy to clean up and when we want to play again everything is in one place.  It also helps teach little guy to clean up when he is done playing.

      

  Each of the four teaching sets also has its own container inside.  So if you want to work on numbers you just pull that one set out.  Little guy also loves all the foam numbers it gives him a chance to actually work it in his mind and interact, which is the way he learns.    The drawing board is also a genius idea he can line them up and draw over them which helps him learn the right way to do it. 

      

  This whole set is perfect for any preschooler.  My son loves it.  I would also like to note in December they have a Teach My Kindergartner set coming out that will help them with the next step in their life.  This is a perfect holiday gift idea for any little one on your list.

  Is your kid obsessed with board games, balls, and dice?  Then this is the perfect holiday gift for them this year.  Drop shot is a great game for you and your family it has it all.  Roll the dice move your ball and drop the ball but hope it does not knock you down. It was a great time for all of us.  Of course my son is 5 so eventually he decided we could no longer play and he was going to do it himself for hours. 

    

  Even though this great game has its own rules you know how 5 year olds can be.  Eventually he was making up his own game and having a blast.  Whether you are playing by the rules or making up your own this was such a fun time.  It was easy to put together it is only 2 pieces so no getting directions out with 50 steps.  The rules were also clear and right to the point.  I love that I did not have to guess what they meant by using confusing language.  This game was also very easy to put away.  It comes apart easily and fits right back into the box.  It does not have a million pieces so you won’t be searching for all the little pieces for the next five hours.

  Let me start with OMG these are so much fun.  I have never played with these before.  I have no idea why these were never introduced to me but I am in love.  We had so much fun with these.  My son picked what I was going to build and then he was off building his very own creation.  They have so many different pieces to fit together only your imagination will be you limit with these.  I loved that they had pieces that bent also.  I am not just limited to straight lines.

 

           

  I made the windmill that they sent directions for.  It was so easy to follow their directions; I had it together in just a few minutes.  Then we were off to build lollypops.  LOL don’t ask me he is 5 we build what he wants.  No matter what he thought of we had the right pieces to put it together.  If you have a little one who has a great imagination this is a must buy for the holiday season.  Not only will your little one have a blast with these but you will too.  Knex has a wide range of toys you and your little one will love.  You can build as a family or your little one can build by themselves.

If you have a Lego lover in the house these are a must.  Not only do they work with Legos but they are a fraction of the cost.  The base plates are perfect for building anything.

                                              

 These would also be perfect if you are having a Lego party for the price you could buy a few of these and their bag of 1000 pieces and make some awesome goodies bags for the kids.  These brought hours of fun for the kids.

                                             

 I was so excited they showed up before all the kids did.  The older kids and younger kids were building for hours.  Besides having the logo on them you will never be able to tell the difference of the blocks or the plates.  The 8 plates also fit right onto each other so its a lot less room to store them when you are done.

         Kids Bug Adventure Kit

 

  This is exactly what we needed.   I was looking for something like this all last year.  My little guy loves bugs and of course that meant that all my Tupperware was full of bugs all summer.  I hated it.  Now he is having so much fun with this set.  He can catch them, store them, and take a closer look with this set.  I can’t wait for moth season he is outside all night catching them this is going to be perfect this year.  If you have a bug lover this set is a must have and you get a whole lot for your money.

 

If you want to save your Tupperware and get your little ones outside and having some fun this is a must have kit.  You can also make it educational where when they find the bugs they then can go identify them before letting them go.  They might learn a few interesting things about them.  I love the little net and the catcher and the vacuum the best he does not have to get to close to the bugs which is nice because he still does not realize that sum like bees and wasps can hurt you. At four years old some things you tell them stick and others don’t so this set is perfect.


My little guy loves this bug catching set and I would recommend it to everyone.

Winning Moves

          Winning Moves  Family Game Night 


  Family game night in our house is a must.  I love getting together with my family playing a few games having some Popcorn and having a blast.  We have to find games that are not only fun for the adults but also a blast for the kids I was excite with these two new games.


Squish Fish was a delight.  I would have never thought of this but little guy had a blast from setting it up and making his fish all the way t getting to squish our fish.  One thing I love about this game is there is no dice to lose.  If your dough dries up you can just use play doe.  As parents we all have a few cans of it lying around the house.  It was so easy to play and little guy understood the direction perfectly.  This is a fantastic game for any little one learning his color.    

 

I have to admit I thought everyone had played Guess Who before.  I remember when I was younger playing for hours with my friends.  So when I got the chance to review it I knew little guy would love it.  To my surprise I pulled it out of the box and Hubby said hey what’s that game how do you play?  I was stunned.  So I put it together and I and hubby played for hours.  Little guy went back and forth helping each of us but not giving away the answer.  They both had such a blast we have played it every night so far.  If you are like me and remember this game from when you were younger or if you are like hubby and have never played it this game, it is a blast and you will have hours of fun with your family big or small members.

  As a busy mom I have to admit sometimes I turn to toys to distract my little guy while I get some work done.  One think I love is that I can get him educational toys so while he is playing he is also learning.   Educational Insights has a wide range of toys for any little one in your house.  The other great thing is when I do have time to play with him I also love them.  From cooking to board games, to do it yourself projects they have everything your little one will need to have some fun. 


My little guy loves family game night with us.  He still has not quite got a hold of some of the older games which makes it hard.  We normally have to play the bigger kid games and make up new rules for him so he can understand.  With Frankie’s Food truck game he picked it up right away.  Not only did he play it the way he was meant to but he had a blast playing it.  He loves the shape cards and the cat he gets to use to pick up his piece.  This is a fantastic learning game for any little one in your family.  The whole family had a blast playing.


Little guy was so excited when this showed up. The Sneak & Peek Periscope was awesome.  We have had it for a day now and he still won’t let me take off the packaging.  He carries it around with him all day and loves to watch us from around corners and behind the couch.  I love hearing little guys “I can see you mommy, you can’t see me”.  This is a great educational toy for any little explorer in your house.
