As you guys know I love to find great body products. With winters, here I basically walk around with lotion all the time. I love to find a great lotion and soap that not only smells fantastic but works like a dream. BeechTree has a fantastic line of products that smell wonderful and best of all the products work fantastic.

The lotions come in different scents and leave my hands silky soft. They did not leave my hands greasy at all so I could use my electronics right after using them. This is a big deal in my world. When inspiration for writing a review hits I don’t have time to wait. I need to get typing right away or ill forget what I wanted to say. I love that these are also travel size. When I hop on the plane I can put them in my bag because they are 2oz so they are ok to fly with me.

The soaps like the lotions smell fantastic, they did not leave a residue on my skin after using them. On another plus side the scents fill the air in the bathroom when I am not using them. I had someone walk into the bathroom and say they love the air freshener, they were floored when I told them that was the soap. For your next question, no the smell of the soap is not overwhelming.

I am going to tell you a funny story about the Dog Shampoo. Here in Colorado a lot of the dog owners are fishermen so when it comes time to wash their dogs they just let them play in the river. As any dog owner knows this may wash the top layer of dirt off, but all you have left is the wet dog smell. That never goes away lol. So, we tested this out on a few of our fishing dogs. It worked fantastic. It even got through the thick fur of the husky. I was so excited to have clean smelling puppy’s and even they were excited, after the bath, of course, most of them hate the process lol. Get your baby’s temp without waking them up

In our family when the little guy gets sick he gets a bad temperature. He can get up to 105 at times and we have to keep an eye on him all night and all day. I hate when he finally falls asleep and I have to take his temp, I always wake him up. We often use stick on fever indicators so that we don’t have to wake him up but it looks like we’ve left it at Grandma’s! We’ve been using out back up thermometer but it means waking up a very tired and exhausted baby and then it’s hours of crying and cuddling just to get him back to sleep. With his temp, I can’t just leave him and not check him. So, when I got the chance to try the non-contact & Infrared Thermometer I was so excited.

Now all I have to do is point and click and I get a temp reading on my little guy without waking him up. It gives a very fast reading and even has a fever alarm so if you are half asleep and doing it no worries about mistakes. This thermometer will also give you milk temp, water temp, and ambient temp. It took me awhile to learn how to change the settings from c to f but once I got it I was on a roll.

My son also has a blast checking out the temps of other stuff in the house and the cat and dogs. This is so easy to use even he can use it. If you are looking for a great way to not only check your sleeping baby’s temp but also other products around the house this is a must have. I have tried it out on a ton of stuff and it has always worked. I am very impressed with this one. This also came with a travel bag. I can just stick it in the bag in my night stand and have it handy any time I need it.

Instant Pot Ribs

Instant Pot

I have heard tons about the Instant Pot for quite a long time now.  Even my sister called me and said you have to get one.  So I was very excited when I got the chance to review the Instant Pot.  Quick and easy meals and quick and easy clean up.  What more can a busy mom ask for.

2 cups apple juice

2 Table spoons Worcestershire

Seasoned ribs cut to smaller pieces

Dimples BBQ Sauce

 

Instant pot

Place Steaming rack in Instant Pot.  Juices at the bottom and ribs on steamer

Cook for 55 minutes with meat/stew button.

Let vent on its own

Take out and place on cookie sheet.  Cover with BBQ sauce and bake at 350 for 5 – 10 minutes. (just long enough for sauce to cook in a little)

Take out and serve.

These ribs were falling off the bone in less than an hour.  I normally have to BBQ them for hours to get them this great.  The Instant Post was awesome.  I can say that I do not know how I ever lived without it.  Fantastic food in less than an hour.  If you are busy mom like me this is a must in any kitchen.  I thought it was going to be hard to use but once I got stared it was so easy.  The clean up after was also a breeze.  Nothing stuck to the pot or the steaming rack. I was truly impressed with the Instant Pot.  I even started a Pinterest board for all the great recipes I found.  Don’t forget to follow us for more, and be on the lookout for more of our great recipes.

I was very pleased with it.

The Essential Living Oils was also very nice. It’s a Vegan Alternative to Fish Oils. I always liked taking fish oils in the past, but at last I could not get over those fish burps they give you. As you all know I cannot stand fish so I just quit taking them. I am pleased to tell you these give you the same benefits without the fishy burps. I am hooked.

When I first got it I thought it had to be complicated. So, I got out my directions and started reading. The truth is the Ninja Coffee Bar System is so easy to use. I love that you can make single serves without the kcup or a whole pot of coffee. You can make just regular black coffee or even specialty drinks. No matter what you love this beauty can do it for you.

Now before you make any of your favorite drinks, make sure to read the directions. They want you to go through the clean cycle twice before you start. This is to make sure everything is clean and ready for your creations. Don’t skip this step just get it set up early so you have time to do this. This step took about 2 hours, but once it’s done you are ready to rock.

I have to admit before the Ninja Coffee Bar System I never thought I would ever make myself a fancy coffee drink. All the different tools and different sizes of coffees and everything else just seemed like way too much. I had no idea that it would be this easy. I may have created a few new drinks but I can tell you they were all fantastic and they cost me nothing to make them in my own house.

Country Crush

Looking for a new go to movie this year?  Than checking out Country Crush is a must.  This is a fun love story with some great music.  I love a great musical and I love country music.  This movie has it all.

Have you ever been in a crossroads of your life?  Having no idea which way to go and where it will bring you?  Well this movie will not answer the question for you, but it will give you a great story and show you that it happened to everyone.  Sometimes one decision can bring you to a complete different path you did not even know you were looking for.

With a family that has been through way too much tragedy, their father left their mom passes away, and now his big brother has shipped back out leaving his wife, son and brother.  Charlie the brother has given up his big dreams to take care of his family.  When the girl of his drams shows up everything changes for him.

As a girl who grew up in the country I know there are true gentlemen out there.  I would love to ask you show this movie to your kids, your sons your daughters.  Let them know that there is truly good people in the world.  If even one boy remembers and becomes a gentlemen, or one girl remembers and knows they are out there and should be treated right, I think this movie would have done its job.
