Are you looking for a movie that will inspire you?  Then the Peanut Butter Falcon will be on that list this year.  The start of this one is a little hard on me.  I have a special little one and I always wonder what will happen to him if anything ever happens to me.

We start off with Zak a young man with Down Syndrome.  He has been put in a nursing home because there is no one to take care of him.  He has been stuck there for over 2 years and is trying to escape.  He gets caught, but that does not stop him.

When he finally gets free he heads to the pro-wrestling school and meets up with an unlikely friend.  Tyler tried to ditch him but they keep running into each other till Tyler realizes he needs help.  They become friends and have a great adventure along the way.

I can not tell you how many hours we spent watching Dora the Explorer in the last few years.  We have been waiting for Dora And the Lost City Of Gold to come out and I could not be happier with it. I always wondered who Dora would be when she got older.

 

When Diego moves to the city with his family it leaves just Dora, Boots, her mom and dad.  10 years go by and Dora is now making her own videos in the forest while talking to all the animals and teaching about the animals.

While exploring she finds a lost cavern inside she find a map to where they have been looking for all these years. When her mom and dad decide that they will be going alone to find the lost city.  They are going to send Dora to the city to live.

Dora does not really fit in with the new High School crowd in Hollywood.  While Dora could care less what everyone thinks of her Diego does not feel that same way. During a class field trip a group of bad guys catch up with Dora and the adventure starts.

If you kids love trucks as much as my little guy does then these are going to be a huge hit this year.  I love that they put them together themselves.  They are also all interchangeable. You can make you very own unique truck with all the different parts.

You can get a few different sets Jurassic Beasts, Team Sharkz and Space Invaders Turbo Monster Trucks ($19.99) .  The sets come with everything you need to make your truck then is you register you license you can get free parts.  There is so much fun to have with these your kids will be playing all day long.

There are a lot of movies out there made to tear at your heart strings.  The Art of Racing in the Rain is one of them.  After Denny finds his new best friend Enzo everything starts to go his way. He is racing cars, he found the love of his life, and now has a beautiful baby girl.   After years of happiness everything starts to go downhill.  Nothing that he did but seems like if it can go wrong for Denny it does.

This story is told my Enzo’s point of view.  Everything the dog sees and does it to protect him family and now that he is at the end of his life, he is remembering it all and telling us the story.  Enzo is hoping to come back as a human and relives his whole life for us.

My question for you when everything starts to go down hill what do you do?  Do you fight with everything you have to save it?  Or do you give up?  If you fight what is keeping you fighting?

Black Friday at Walmart

Tis the season for Black Friday. I am so excited this is a fun time of year for us. By this time, I normally have most of my shopping done, but there are always the few big items I need to get and Black Friday is when we get them.

On Thanksgiving after dinner is done, we sit around and go through all the adds and pick where we will be going and when. I love that now we can all get our devices out and look them up and start out lists. Walmart is always on the list. You have to be there early and be ready to get what you need.

A few things I have learned about Black Friday Shopping.

-A lot of them start early now its not waking up early any more its about staying up late so don’t eat too much turkey.

– Have a list ready for what you want and what departments they are in.

-If you want more than one Black Friday sale item bring people with you to shop with. A lot of places limit you to one and have a different line for each item.

– Dress warm you may be waiting outside for quite a long time.

– Do your research know what items to get where and when so you are not at the wrong place at the wrong time.

– Some items you can get online without leaving. If the business has set up a method of online payment, perhaps by utilizing the system offered by QPay Europe, then virtual transactions should make credit card processing secure, simple, and reliable for customers looking to grab a deal during Black Friday.

– There is no guarantee if you are shopping online or in store that you are going to get what you went there for.

– Last piece of advice. Everyone is looking for a deal be nice and be ready for grumpy people. Don’t be one of them.

If you are not going for the big-ticket items, but you are going for the Stocking Stuffers and toys then Walmart is an awesome place to start. I get the boys all their holiday Pajamas there every year and they are an awesome deal. Last year they were below $5 and they even had matching adult ones. I always hit the middle isles for great movie and video game deals. Then there are the extras like socks and under shirts for the lowest price you will ever see.

Always look for the discount codes if you are shopping online. From T. V’s to ROKU and so many more if you are looking for the big electronics hit the big retailers like Walmart first if you miss out on that deal head to the next. This is your time to save big for the year.

Now that you have your black Friday shopping list ready and are in the stores and done a little more info. If you can combine orders with a friend then split up after do it. The lines are huge and everyone that pairs up it one less transaction to make. When you are done make sure you have plans for some food and relax. You have been running around or typing around all night there is no way you are going straight to sleep. Last bit of advice hide it all before the family gets up. Have a place already in mind. There is nothing worse then getting the perfect present and having them find it because you did not hide it.
