Keep Your Small Enterprise Thriving: Key Things to Do
Running a small enterprise is not an easy task. You have to take care of everything from marketing and sales to customer service and payroll.
You need to do many things to keep your business thriving. The good thing is this is definitely possible. With that, here are key things that you should make sure you are doing if you want your small enterprise to thrive.
Ensure You Are Working with the Right People
Working with the right team is the key to success for any small business. Make sure you hire passionate people about the same things as you, hardworking and honest. Once you identify these traits in your employees or co-workers, they must stick with them throughout their careers at your company.
Ensure that everyone remains dedicated so growth can be experienced regularly rather than just during good times where motivation may wane without realizing it. You need to hire the right people for your small business, as you must have a strong team.
One of the biggest mistakes entrepreneurs make is not engaging enough employees or waiting too long before they do so after their company’s establishment. This can cause problems in communication and productivity.
Improve Your Payment Method
Your payment method is just as important to your clients as it is for you. Therefore, it should be simple, secure, and easy to use. Use a payment method that suits everyone in the process – this means taking into account more than just cost, but the ease of access.
Set up an automatic payment system with automated reminders, so customers remember when they need to make payments (and don’t forget about fees.). You may also want to consider
mobile payment options [available here] to help improve payment efficiency.
Find a Way to be Unique
Being unique is a great way to keep up with competitors and attract customers. Look at your product or service and what you can do differently from others in the industry.
Consider offering a new perspective on traditional services like insurance or financial advice for small businesses if there is nothing. You should also look at how you present yourself online; make sure social media pages are active and well looked after by someone who knows what they’re doing.
Prioritize Your Customers
Your customers are the ones that keep your business afloat, so it is important to prioritize them. Ensure you offer a high level of service and go above and beyond what they expect from you. This will make them happy and build loyalty towards your company, which can lead to referrals or repeat customers in the future.
Make Time for Customer Calls
No matter how busy things get, always find some time set aside during one day each week (or month) where all calls come through on priority number one. Then, move on to any other tasks at hand until another slot becomes available later in the day. Doing this ensures you do not miss any calls while still having sufficient time to dedicate to other important tasks.
In conclusion, make sure you find ways to help grow your business. The above tips would be a great place to start. Consider working with the right people, improving payment methods, finding ways to stand out from competitors, and being unique – have these four critical things covered at all times.

Fun Ways To Celebrate Life’s Special Occasions
There are so many special moments throughout life. Sometimes they are the expected ones like birthdays, anniversaries, and the winter holidays. Other wonderful occasions occur from time to time, such as a promotion or new job, doing well on a school test, and the list goes on. It is important to celebrate and honor those events. Pick one or a two from the list below to make the day great!
Give Flowers
Flowers are beautiful gifts to give for any occasion. They brighten whatever room they are in with color and fragrance. There are so many creative options to select. Use a quality delivery service that connects you with local florists to find a bouquet that will bring happiness to your loved one.
Peruse their online catalog to choose from one of the beautiful arrangements. If you wish to display your artistic side, you can even create a custom bouquet with your recipient’s favorite colors and flowers. You get to style the flowers in a way that is sure to delight.
Make a Favorite Meal
Food feeds the heart and soul. Take some time to learn your loved one’s favorite dish or meal. Do they have a preferred meal from their childhood? Is there a meal from previous travels that they have raved about? Cooking them a meal to share will show them how much you care about them. Food elicits special feelings and brings back memories. Making a meal to share will create a new memory that you can experience together.
Sometimes the act of cooking is an event in and of itself. If the special person in your life has a particular affinity for making delicious food, try making it together to create an amazing memory. Find a delectable recipe you will both enjoy, shop for all of the ingredients ahead of time, prepare the cooking utensils, and get ready for some tasty food.
Here is a helpful video if you are a novice in the kitchen.
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/FTociictyyE” title=”YouTube video player” frameborder=”0″ allow=”accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture” allowfullscreen></iframe>
Plan For Future Events
On another note, since you always have your phone at hand, begin a new note or task item. Whenever the special people in your life mention something they are interested in, a restaurant they want to try, or anything significant to them, enter it into your note. You can add the date or any other context around the conversation. When it is time to celebrate the special occasions in life, you can look back on your notes for inspiration instead of starting all over.
Another useful way to keep track of special moments is when the occasion is over. Add a note regarding what you gave or did. Life tends to get very busy as time passes, and it can become difficult to remember what you gifted from year to year. This way, you will not replicate the same gift, or you can use this as a tool to remember what worked and make future gifting easier. Use technology to your advantage for the win.
Celebrate all of the special times in life with the people you care about most. Send them gorgeous flowers, eat delicious food together, and create special memories that will last forever.

Security Considerations for a Restaurant Business
The Covid 19 pandemic has brought about added concerns for all businesses. Still, a restaurant may be more affected as it has to avoid overcrowding and at the same time maximize profits. It might mean relying more on delivery services, encouraging customers to order takeaway, and expanding its dining room. Other than the pandemic concerns, there are security precautions to protect workers and customers. These include:
Have Quality Electric Wiring
A restaurant business relies more on electricity to carry out its daily operations. For this reason, it is of great importance to have quality electric wiring installed on your premises. If you are looking for a more affordable option, choose electrical contractors who do not compromise quality by using substandard materials.
Substandard options may pose serious risks of fire outbreaks and accidents that might cause injuries and property destruction at your restaurant. When facing issues, always have a reliable expert you can call, such as Zamora’s & Sons Electric. Regular inspection of electric wiring and other components is essential as well.
Having CCTV Cameras
CCTV cameras enable you to monitor your business in real-time when you are not physically present. It ensures that employees are doing their jobs, maintaining cleanliness and good customer service. You can also verify that all is in order with the health inspector’s report after paying a visit to your premises.
You can monitor every activity in your restaurant via live streaming videos on a computer, tablet, or mobile phone. It will give you much more to rely on than just relying on your memory and keeping paper trails. CCTV cameras also deter theft and vandalism.
Have a Ready Fire Mitigation Strategy
Fire-related accidents are the leading cause of injuries in a restaurant business. Fires also pose a risk of property loss. Ensure the company follows the set fire codes in your area, consider the hazards, have internal fire safety officers and take the necessary precautions.
The business should have a working fire alarm system, adequate fire extinguishers, and emergency exits. Make sure to invest in a commercial fire alarm system that effectively serves the entire business space.
Invest in Hood Systems
Hood systems are critical in protecting your restaurant workers and customers from hazardous fumes, smoke, and grease. These are often emitted during the cooking process. Have an efficient ventilation system that removes all contaminated air to prevent fire outbreaks, injury incidences, and uncomfortable situations. The nature of your business will determine the type and size of ventilation you need.
Have a Safe Supply of Water
Water is essential in your restaurant business which means that it has to be readily available. A commercial water system ensures constant supply. The company should have an adequate amount of water storage tanks, with each providing enough capacity for at least 24 hours.
Be aware that you also need a reliable technical team that does not compromise on installing and maintaining the water tanks and all other plumbing components on the premises.
As you carry out these security precautions, also consider the safety of your employees. As an owner or manager, you are responsible for their well-being at the workplace. It would help if you worked with them to develop a healthy security plan addressing their concerns.
