Shoulder Buddy Review

I got the chance to check out the shoulder buddy and they are adorable.

Well I guess it would be more appropriate to say baby by got to try out the shoulder buddy.  He loved him.  This is a great little charter with fuzzy hair that will be your kid’s friend.  Your kids can trade them or keep their best friend with them.  They come with little cards to help teach you little one great lessons and a magnetic coin.  There are so many different colors you can find a great one for everyone.  They are so cute.  I keep on trying to steal this little guy back from baby boy but it was a no go.

Story Land Yoga DVD

I got the chance to try this yoga DVD and I love it.

A long long long time ago I used to do yoga every day.  It was one of my favorite things to do.  Then along came my cute, cuddly, and wild, out of control baby boy.  I had totally gave up on ever doing yoga again.  I had tried and every time I did any pose on the floor baby boy would jump on my back and yell “HORSEY”  well you can guess how that turned out.  So when I got the chance to try out this DVD I was so excited.  What I get to do yoga and baby boy will join me and not jump on me how exciting.

Now I know what you are thinking how this yoga DVD get my child (the crazy one) to go along.  Well it was actually genius they told a story with the moves.  SO while we were doing our yoga poses they told a wonderful story about saving the condor eggs and meeting animals along the way.  They matched the moves with different actions and animals in the story and it keep baby boy interested until the very end.  They also had one about saving the whales which I thought was fun.  But the condors were baby boys favorite.  I have to tell you the first time I started this I was thinking well baby boy will have fun but won’t do much for me.  Boy was I wrong let me tell you the frog is a killer lol.   This great DVD will not only keep your little one interested but you will be right there with him wondering what happens next and trying to keep up with your little one.  This is a fantastic kid’s yoga DVD.

This is a fantastic DVD I would recommend it to everyone with a little one.

Flye baby

OMG this is awesome.

I cannot tell you how much this would have made traveling easier when baby boy was young.  I got the chance to try this out with my nephew and not only did he love it but so did I.   This was not only so simple to use, but it was actually very effective.  It keep little guy happy when he was on the plane with my sister but it also made him very happy to be able to sit with the big people at the table.  We could strap him in a chair and he got to hang out with the adults.  On the plan he got to hang out with mama and see what she was up to, while her not having to hold him down.  My first few trips with baby boy were a nightmare he did not understand and had to be held down for the hour long flight.  Now he is used to travel but this would have been a sanity saver for this mama.

Flye baby was the baby maternity magazine award top choice for 2013.  It is an infant airplane travel seat but can also be used in a chair to help keep them safe and sitting with the big kids.  It allows face to face interaction on the plane and has a 5 point harness system to keep your little one secure. It is a hammock type seat and flye baby was designed with FAA consultation.  This was such a fantastic product if you know a mom to be that loves to travel or just has to travel this is a must for a baby shower present.

Nuby Step-up Stool

I got the chance to try out the Nuby Step-up Stool and loved it.

Baby boy is at the point now where he wants to help with the dishes, brush his own teeth and wash his face.  Holding him so he can reach was becoming such a problem.  We bought him a cheap stool thinking it would help but it slipped out from under him and one time buckled in the middle it was not a good option for us.

 

When we got this stool I stood there over him for about 40 minutes thinking it was going to do the same.  But it did not.  This stool was very sturdy, even when the floor below him was wet the stool did not slip at all.  He could reach to do the dishes and climbs up every night and every morning to brush and clean up makes it so much easier on this mommy.

I have even used it for myself the stool said it can hold up to 800 lbs.  Luckily I am no where near this wait but I do weigh a lot more than a toddler and it did not buckle or slip at all.  As a shorter person it is great to find a product like this that is not only great for my little guy, but also for me I know now reach the top shelf.lol

 

Update:  my son is now 5 years old and this is still in perfect condition.  He uses it everyday.

Nuby Splish Splash Stacking cups

We got the chance to try out the nuby stacking cups and baby boy loved them.

 

You know how bath time is baby boys’ favorite time.  One of the things he loves most about the bath is the fun toys.   When little guy saw these adorable cups in the box that came he went nuts.  First he thought they were for juice but then I brought him outside to the play sink and showed him what the cups did and he was so excited.  He played in the sink for hours then it was off to the bath tub and of course the cups came with us.

 

One of the funniest things for baby boy right know is stacking stuff so he had a blast with these figuring out how he could fit them together in different ways.  He had so much fun with these stacking cups not only are they great colors each one has a shape at the bottom and little holes for the water to drip out.

 

These great stacking cups are not only great fun with water but baby boy spent hours stacking and un stacking them on a table top and thought it was the funniest thing in the world.

Nuby Nail Care Set

We got to try the nuby nail care set and loved it.

 

I have to be honest here when we first had baby boy I was terrified of cutting his nails.  He was so tiny.   The first time we cut his nails was a disaster we cut his little finger I was upset for hours.  After that I took him to my sister once a week and had her do it.  It is now a running joke when we go visit her I call ahead and make an appointment with my nephew for her to do it.  Now this is just a joke I have finally got my nerve up to do it myself.  Baby boy now loves to get is nails done he likes them cut and filed and buffed Lol.  The problem I was having with it was the nail clippers I was using where tinny tiny and I could not get a good grip with them.

When these showed up I was instantly excited the clipper were still tiny but they had a bigger back part for a good fit for my hands.  I can move them to which ever angle I need without the fear of them falling or cutting the wrong place.

The little emery boards are perfect size for his little nails and not to rough. I can get those pesky little sharp edges and not worry about him scratching up his little face or mine.

 

It even came with a set of scissors.  I love these they come in handy when baby boy has a hang nail.  I never really knew what to do when he got one.  I know when I get one and pull it off it hurts for days.  With these cute little scissors I can cut it off for him and it does not hurt him.

 

I would recommend this cute little nail care set for all.

Nuby Wash or Toss

We got the chance to try out the nuby wash or toss cups and loved them.

I can’t tell you how many times I have traveled with the other baby cups and got so mad at me for leaving one on the plane or in the car for 2 weeks.   Either you lost it or let’s be honest by the time you find it, it is so gross you don’t want to even open it because of the smell.lol These are so great for this if one of these miss haps happen you can just toss the cup and no worries because you are getting 3 cups for a little less than the price of one of the other cups.   Now don’t get me wrong I love the other cups but these are a life saver for those other times when loosing or forgetting the cup is a real possibility.

These cups are also great for everyday use.  So easy to wash just dump out clean like you would any other cup and stick in the top shelf of the dishwasher.  Quick easy and reusable.  I can use it over and over again till I once again forget where I left it.  These cups are also great without the non spill lid, a perfect size cup for your little one who is learning how to drink out of a big boy cup.    They have adorable designs on them baby boy got a set with sponge bob square pants on it and think they are so funny he loves to use them when he is doing TV time.     These are a great add to your kitchen supply for your little one.

Nuby Tickle Toes

We got the chance to try out the nuby tickle toes bear and we loved him.

He is so cute a little gear that is cuddly for your little one and when you press his little foot he giggles.  His laugh is just infectious every time this little guy started laughing so did my little guy it was just way to cute.  It was funny we were cleaning up the room and put all the stuffed animals in his bean bag cover he went to sit on it and the little guy started giggling and baby boy thought it was the funniest thing in the world we had to get him back out of the bean bag so he could play with him again.  This little guy now sleeps on baby boys night stand and every once and awhile at night we here giggling coming over the monitor.

This little guy is just too cute not only does my two year old love him but the little ones just go nuts for it.  This would be a perfect present for any little one.  Little ones always love to play with a toy that makes noise and I have to say most of them drive me nuts.  This little guy has been going off in my house for days and I can honestly tell you it does not bother me at all it still makes me giggle every time I hear it.

Nuby Insulated No-Spill Flip It Cup

We got the chance to try out this great cup and loved it.

As you can probably tell we go through a lot of cups.  I chalk it up to mommy brain one day I will find about 100 under something Lol.  When I find a great cup though I am very excited and most of you know my biggest pet peeve is spills I do not want to spend all day cleaning up after cups leaking.  This cup was great not only did it not spill when I found it laying on its side but when baby boy gave it a good test ( turning it upside down and shaking ) noting came out.

 

This is also a great cup for summer time it is insulated so it keeps the drinks colder for longer and you do not get the condensation on the side so little guys hand and whatever he sets it on does not get wet.   The straw at the top is specially made for little ones teeth and gums.    Baby boy loves this cup this is one mommy will have to make sure not to lose will be great for all our picnics this summer.
