GeoJango Maps

I know many of you are like me I want to go and see everything this beautiful world has to offer.  Of course, I don’t get to travel much, but when I do, I want something to remember it. I don’t want a bunch of tourist items from the place just the memories.   I was so excited to get a GeoJango Map.   I get to see where I have been in life and we can change the pins with who I have been with.

GeoJango Maps

For years it was always me and my mom who went everywhere.  Now that I have little guy, I love bringing him with me.  I have different color pins for each so when my son looks at it with me, I know instantly where and with who I went.

GeoJango Maps

They have a whole line of maps you can get just the US or even the whole world.  I have only been out of the country a hand full of times, but I plan on seeing it all one day.  So of course, I went with the whole world.

The web site is very easy to use and the map helps my son learn his Geography.  When he points, I look it up and we find great stuff about the area. This has also become a great learning tool in our house.  This is a perfect family gift.

GeoJango Maps

The maps are beautifully made and ready to hand on your wall when you get them.  They package it perfectly so I did not have to worry about it being broken.  They are also at a fantastic price point.  If I knew these were so beautiful and affordable, I would have gotten one years ago.

GeoJango Maps

I love GeoJango Maps and would suggest them to everyone who loves to travel.

I got this free in exchange for an honest review.

FIVE FEET APART Giveaway #FiveFeetApart

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Review Wire Media for Lionsgate

I have to be honest normally I do not see the previews for these kind of movies and want to see them.  I don’t want to be sad.  When I saw this preview I was invested.  I really want to see this one.  it look fun and light with something to learn. Five Feet Apart looks fantastic.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Stella Grant (Haley Lu Richardson) is every bit a seventeen-year-old… she’s attached to her laptop and loves her best friends. But unlike most teenagers, she spends much of her time living in a hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control – all of which is put to the test when she meets an impossibly charming fellow patient named Will Newman (Cole Sprouse).

There’s an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that attraction. Further complicating matters is Will’s potentially dangerous rebellion against his ongoing medical treatment. Stella gradually inspires Will to live life to the fullest, but can she ultimately save the person she loves when even a single touch is off limits? Rated PG-13

Animated Read-Along: Dr. Seuss Birthday/Read Across America Day

I am so excited to say Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss.  My son has loved his books for many years now he can also enjoy them with these great Read along’s.

Farmers Insurance, is honoring Dr. Seuss on his 115th birthday and celebrating Read Across America Day on March 2.

We have a fun read-along video of Oh, the Places You’ll Go.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go with reading and education. Farmers Insurance, a brand that stands for knowledge, experience and making people smarter about insurance, is honoring Dr. Seuss on his 115th birthday and celebrating Read Across America Day on March 2 with an integrated campaign across TV, digital and social media.

To support and promote early childhood reading through the legacy of Dr. Seuss, Farmers has created an animated read-along of the New York Timesbest-seller Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Voiced by Farmers spokescharacter Professor Burke (Academy Award winner JK Simmons), the video is available through digital and social channels, as well as included in the National Education Association’s library of resources for teachers to use in activities marking the day.

Farmers has also created a 60-second journey, in the visual and narrative style of Dr. Seuss, through the world of strangely Seussian insurance claims they’ve seen and covered. The animated spot features reimagined claim stories also voiced by JK Simmons as Professor Burke and carries the message that “the more that you see, the more that you’ll know,” reminding people to go out and experience and learn more about the world. It began running in TV, digital video and social placements in the weeks leading up to Dr. Seuss’s birthday.

Apple and Thor During the Day

Growing up I of course had my own baby girl Fluffy. Living in California and raising a puppy was a whole lot different then living anywhere else. When I went to school and my parents went to work, she went outside. We always had good weather in California so there were no worries. She was comfortable all day had her dog house and played till we got home.

When we got our new babies, it was a whole new ball game. We moved from Colorado to Arizona and the weather in these too places are not the same I can not just put my babies out for the day. In Colorado, it would be freezing in the winter. In Arizona we had it so hot in the summer is could be dangerous. Even with the pool and plenty of water 110 degrees is just way to hot to leave them outside. Little did I know the temps also get freezing in Arizona in the winter. Because it gets so cold we’ve bought heated dog beds for our furry friends to make sure they’re warm and comfortable. They love playing in the snow in the garden and then coming in to lie on a toasty bed.

So, we had to switch things up. Working from home it is not so much of a worry as it is for a lot of other people, but there are still times I have to leave and they could not go with me. A lot of people will Crate Train their dog for some this is the perfect solution they have a safe place in the house. We did not want to crate train for one specific reason.

Both dogs are trained for my little guy. He is autistic and a runner they are trained to be with him at all times and not let him leave the house. If they are in a crate, they can not stop him from leaving. So, their safe place is with him.

We let them roam free in the house when we are gone. We make sure the counters are clear and doors are closed. This means they can do anything but when we are gone, they actually use this time to pass out. We got a great heating pad for them (rated really well by SparkysSpots) that they love in the winter and a cooling pad that they love in the summer.

These two angles have done so much for my family I need to make sure they are comfortable in the weather changes. Making sure you start training when they are young will help them understand what can and can’t be done as they get older. If you crate train make it sure to start early. If you are letting them roam free make sure you also start that training early leave them for a few minutes at a time working time up so they don’t just think you are gone.

No matter what you choose, choose what is right for you and your family and stick with it, just please do not just leave them out in the elements. Dogs think the world of you and will do anything for you make sure you are watching out for them too.

Cutetitos from Basic Fun

OMG when I first saw Cutetitos on Instagram I was in love.  They are a cute line of new friends that come wrapped up like a Burrito.  You have no idea who you will get till you open them up.

I would also like to point on to make sure to follow them on social media for awesome giveaways.

From pigs to puppies, kitten and more each one id a soft cuddly friend that is wrapped up in a tortillas  blanket.  Your kids are going to want to collect them all.

I also love that you can take the plastic wrap off and just fill a Easter basket this year with a bunch of Cutetitos friends.

Each friend will still be a cute surprise but it will look like a basket of burritos. Lol I know a few adults that would also love that.

We got our new friend in exchange for an honest review
