These were such cute bags and baby boy loved them.  They are BPA Free and biodegradable. I love to use the disposable bags but I always feel a little bad when I do.  With these great bags I can use what I like and not feel bad about totally destroying the environment. When they first showed up they are in a very cute box with monsters all over them and baby boy went nuts.   He loved all the cute designs and they are perfect for me to pre make his snacks for the week.  These bags have 4 different monster designs and you get 28 bags in a box.

It always seems baby boy wants his snacks right as I start working.  I then have to stop working and try and find what he wants to eat (hopefully healthy) and get it ready.  With these cute bags I can get a whole weeks of snacks ready and he can just grab what he wants already portioned out.  I cut up carrots, strawberries and all his other goodies and make up his bags and not only can he grab a snack when he is ready but when we are out and about I can make sure to have a bag or 2 with me for on the go snacks.

I have to be honest one of my favorite things about disposable bags it I can throw them away some time I just don’t have the time to clean re usable bags and get them ready for the next week. I love that these bags are biodegradable.  The designs are cute and if you have a little one that is not always happy to eat their food these fun designs with draw your little one in and they will have fun while eating.   These great bags are made in the U.S.A and you all know how I love to buy items that are made in the U.S.A so this is also a big plus for me.   A great thing about these monsters is you kids can get to know them.  Head to their web site below and stories about each monster and you can print fun coloring sheets for your little one.  My little guy picked his favorite and we had to color pictures and tell stories about them all day long.  Scout the soccer player is baby boys favorite. They seal great I had no leaks while using these bags and they are the perfect size for my little one.  Some of the others I have seen are so big you feel bad about using them for the little portions for your little one.

I got the chance to try out the weight Masters Bathroom scale and love it.

Ozeri makes some of the best household products I have ever seen.  You can find everything from knifes to scales to fans.  If you are looking for a great accessory for you home this is the place you want to look first.  Their items not only work fantastically but they look good in your home.   The products I have had a chance to try out all have a life time guarantee which you know to me is a big deal.  If they give a life time guarantee it means they care about their customers and believe in their product.

 

I was very excited when I got the chance to try the bathroom scale out.  As most of you know we are losing wait for the winter on our page and this is a great took to help us reach our goal.  I can keep track of what I have gained and loss and know what is working and what is not.  This scale is so easy to use.  It uses 3 AAA batteries which I love no need to go searching for a special battery just use your normal ones.  With a baby boy in the house we always have on hand.  When you get the batteries in just step on it and wait for a minute when it gives you your weight step off wait for it to turn off then step on it again.  You only have to do the first time to calibrate the scale and you are set to go.  It has a huge light up display so no need to strain your eyes to see your wait.  Of course sometime I wish I could not see it Lol.

Purex Ultra Packs Plus OXI

I got the chance to try out the Purex with OXI tabs and loved them.

       These are so easy to use just pen the bag and pop one into the washing machine.  I love a great detergent but what I love even ore is a great detergent that also makes doing laundry easier.  These great packs you just grab and throw in the washing machine and everything you need is right it is so your job until it’s time to put in the dryer is done.

      These packs already have the stain remover right n them so no need to waste time on adding more stain remover to your load.  With my baby boy this is a plus he could be in a white sterilized room and he would come out dirty and covered with satins.   This also have 2X concentrated formula in every pack a low-sudsing formula that rinses clean.  I even used on my hubbys socks his feet are very sensitive to a lot of detergents and he did not get any rash or reaction from this detergent.  The Purex is also a very reasonable price at your local grocery store.

Ozeri Adjustable Oscillating Tower Fan

I got the chance to try out The Ozeri Tower Fan and I am in love.

Living in Colorado in the summer can get hot and without air-conditioning very UN comfortable.  When I got the chance to try out this fan I was very excited.  With a baby boy in the house regular fans are not an option for me, baby boy can get his little fingers in it and show stuff in it and it really not worth the worry about what may happen.   So when I got the chance to try out a great fan that baby boy could not get his fingers in and would help cool me off can you say I was one excited girl.

When it first showed up I was so excited I had hubby grab it right away and put it together.  It only took about 5 minutes to get all together and up and running.  I was instantly cooled off.  Baby boy sure gave it a try to stick his fingers and other stuff into it and could not even get close which made me instantly relieved.  This great fan not only works great but has a remote control  once I saw this I was instantly in love I can set it up across the room and when its way to hot to get up in move I just grab my remote and turn on and the air is instantly moving through the room.  This remote not only turns the fan off and on but you can change the speed, put it on a timer and turn the oscillating on and off.

I was very impressed with this fan and baby boy loves having the nice fresh air going through the room.  Not only is it very easy to use it will also tell me the tem inside the room so I will always know how hot it is in the room.   This great fan retails for $129.99 but as I am writing this you can get it for $99.99 shipped off of Amazon.  This is a deal you will not want to pass up.  If you are looking to get the air moving and cool off.  If you are like me with no AC this is the way to go a great fan that will not only work great but is also safe to use with your little one in the house.

I got the chance to try the just a drop and let me tell you I will not live without it.

As we all know for woman our bathroom habits always smell like roses (at least this is what we tell our others).  With just a drop you can now pull it off as being the truth.  Let me tell you my hubby on the other hand could never pull this off till now.  I know what you are thinking what the heck is she talking about? Well let me tell you about this great product I got to try.  Just a drop is a great product you put 1-2 drops into the toilet before you do you business and guess what it keeps the smell trapped inside  that is right no more need to light that match or use a bottle of air freshener to convince your other you smell like roses, and yes it really did work.

They have 7 different great scents you can use and it even come with a little holder for the bottle with adhesive so you can affix to the back of your toilet to always have it on hand and ready to use.  For us this was a life saver our only bathroom upstairs is less than 2 feet from both bedrooms and the living room.  And with a 2 year old we all know the door is not ok to stay shut.  No more pretending for us or guests that, that is not a god awful smell coming from our bathroom.   I can’t tell you how impressed I was with this product. When the bottle came it looked very small but it does not need to be big when all you need is 1-2 drops.  This is also small enough to fit in your purse so when you are traveling or at a friend’s how and don’t want to blow up their bathroom you can do what you need to and no one will ever know.

Meguiar’s Car Wash Supplies

We got the chance to try out Meguiar’s car wash supplies and loved them.

Living in CO we have about 6 months out of the year you cannot clean your car or risk it freezing. Along with that the mud and stuff they put on the streets for winter when it’s time to clean your car you are in big trouble if you do not have a great cleaner. I think that’s why a lot of car owners choose to have ceramic coating on their cars just because the car looks better for longer. Keeping the inside clean is pretty easy. You can get one of those car trash cans for rubbish and even a car organizer to keep things nice and tidy. You can read blogs that have installation instructions for these nifty tricks to keep your car clean inside. I suppose, if you can’t clean the outside, keeping the inside clean is the least you can do. This was the first time we had cleaned the car and truck since winter and I was amazed not only how easy it was to clean the truck but how shiny and new it looked when we were done. Our car is getting pretty old so I have been looking at selling it and buying a new car. I’ve been looking at some used cars for sale in Newton Kansas but I’m still deciding which car would be perfect for me. There are so many to choose from!! If I did decide to get a new car, I would definitely make sure I cleaned it at least once a month!

This was a fantastic wash just 4 cap full’s per a gallon of water in a bucket a sponge and some water and you are ready to go. I love the fact that I did not have to scrub hard with this one. With 2 cars to wash and a little one helping me I have enough work to do. This car wash took the dirt and who knows what else right off. I made one bucket of this and it cleaned both the Tahoe and the car there was no need to keep on adding the cleanser to the bucket with more water. It was a gentle cleaner and when I was done cleaning the car it was not only clean but sparkling. I cannot tell you the last time our cars sparkled. I sent a picture to my mom and she asked if we had got a new truck. lol. My friend who runs a local car washing business that recently got his own car wash pos was telling me how much he uses this product and he loves it.

The White Wax

This was so easy to use. It came in a tube with its own applier a little sponge like thing. Just open up the lid pop the tube and apply to the sponge then do the karate kid wipe on wipe off. But the best thing about this no hard pushing it made my car shine with just a little pressure. I once waxed my car in H.S and I got about 1/3 the way threw and could not finish from all the hard pushing to get it on and off I had to do. This was quick easy and my hands did not hurt after. You will be sure to find a wax you love with them. They have Spray, liquid and pastes in all different formulas a great selection for anyone.

The Wash and Wax Anywhere / Shine Towel

I cannot begin to describe how great this is. I used to live in an apartment and this would have been perfect. I cannot wait for our road trip this is so going with me to keep my car bright and shiny as I drive through the states. So Simple to use just spray on the area wipe off with the shine towel, then re wipe it with a dry shine towel and done left the car shinny and looking just washed. This is a great product for just the touch ups or for a full wash takes the dirt and grime right off leaving a shinny clean car and with no water.

The Bug Splatter Sponge

This one was a miracle worker. My dad had just driven from California to Colorado to visit us when this set as arrived so you can guess the amount of bugs he had stuck to his truck. He saw this and loved it we had to try it out on the dried up baked on bugs. This was amazing no scratching at the bugs to get them off. This is a 2 sided sponge when we use this we could feel the bugs coming loose it was amazing they just came right off. This did not hurt the paint at all just got rid of the little bugs and left it looking great. This box came with 5 sponges so you have quite a few to get your car clean a few times. I will definitely be packing a few of these for our drive too.

I would also like to note I did not use any window cleaner the washes left the windows crystal clear and streak free.

I would recommend these products to everyone. Next I am tackling the inside of the car lol.

Honolulu Jewelry  Review

I have been in love with Honolulu Jewelry for many years.  I would say about 20  maybe 25 years ago we went on a family trip to Hawaii and my mom bought me and my sister each matching rings from Honolulu Jewelry.  As you can see below the ring is just as beautiful today as it was the day my mom bought it for us. I have worn out the black writing but it has been over 20 years. It even has my Hawaiian name on it KIPIKA of course I don’t remember what that is anymore but it has become a nick name for me from a few people over the years.

Honolulu Jewelry sent me this beautiful silver turtle necklace which I am in love with.  The craftsmanship is beautiful and it came on a beautiful skinny silver chain.  This is a perfect accent piece for any outfit.  I love the tropical flare to it.

Harvey Prince Hello Review

I have had the chance to work with Harvey prince before and I have loved their products.  I was so excited when I got the chance to try out this new Hello set. The Hello collection scent is Sicilian lemon, Spanish mandarin, and plumeria botanicals.  This is a very sweet and tropical scent.  I just loved it.  It  really gave me a pick me up and made me feel pretty. It was a scent that really lasted but was not so strong that it over powered the room.

The lotion was very thick and really left my skin soft and smelling wonderful.  The Shower soap not only came with a pump which I loved, I could make sure I was not using way too much, it also lathered up fantastic and left my skin soft, clean and smelling fantastic.  These two with the perfume was a perfect match.  With them all layered you could not help but smell great and feel great.

Harvey Prince has a wide range of fantastic scents and matching soaps and lotions in those scents.  I have gotten the chance to try most of these out.  Whenever they send me one to try out they also send some fantastic sample vials and I have to say one of my other favorites is there new Cherry Blossom it is also a much check out.

 

I have fallen in love with Harvey Prince and hope to keep on working with them in the future.  As I said above everything I have tried from them has been fantastic.

Writers of the future XXIX

 

I got the chance to read the new writers of the future and loved it.

 

This is a great book for all to read.  It is a book of short stories that these great writers have submitted and were so great they have won a spot in the next book.   They are up and coming writers whose imaginations are just spectacular.  Every story just drew you right into the story where you could not put it down.

 

One think I love about these books is as a busy mom I do not usually have the time to read a whole book.  Although I would love to with a busy schedule I usually get ½ way threw a book and forget to read for about a month or two then I have to start all over again.  With these great stories I get my reading time in and I finish one every time.  This was a perfect book to keep in the car for me if baby boy fell asleep I would grab my book and hang out in the car with him while he slept and got in a little mommy relaxing time by losing myself in a great story.

 

The writers of these stories truly have a great gift in writing and I am sure we will see a lot more of them to come.   As always I will tell you the title of my favorite one The Ghost Wife

Of Arlington It is a love story but an unusual one. But That is all I will tell you I do not want to ruin any of it for you.

I would recommend this book to everyone such a great read.

Writers of the future

L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future

I got the chance to read  Volume XXVIII  and it was a wonderful book

 

As I have said many times I love love love to read.  Having a baby boy does not always let me read big books.  For me this is a little sad reading is my mommy time.

 

When I got the chance to read this book I jumped on it.  I have to be honest I had a little idea of the book when I got it but I was truly amazed by it when I started reading.  This is a book of short stories so even with my busy schedule I got the chance to read every night and knew that I was going to be able to finish a story.  The stories in the book are wonderful.  No I am not going to ruin it for you.  I will say they are stories by a bunch of different writers so you get a great verity in the book.  Each story has its own way of writing and of course story line.

 

It’s a book of short story by up and coming writers who are sure to bring us more great stories in the future.  Right know I really want to tell you my favorite let’s just say there are a lot of baskets.  I do not know why but this one really stuck with me and I am sure it will stick with you too.  This is a great book for everyone especially if you are busy and love to get some reading in, or if you are a book lover and want to know who is up and coming.

I would recommend this book to everyone.  Great stories and no I am still not going to give you a spoiler you will have to read then come back and let me know which your favorite was.

For all of you readers out their get ready the next volume is on its way and to celibrate the winners their will be an event on April 14th . If you are in the area make sure to go it will be great.
