Adventure Time

I was so excited when we got the chance to check out Adventure time, I had seen the cartoon before but I have to admit I never knew the name.  This happened to be one that we always caught when we were traveling and I never knew where to find it when we got home.  When it showed up baby boy was so excited he knew right away what it was and he was already getting the popcorn out while I was opening the package.

This set has all 26 episodes of season four plus bonus features.  I have to admit one of baby boys favorite parts is the 19 minute; the music of adventure time.  It is a commentary on the important rule music plays in their series.  I would not have thought this would be his cup of tea but he was sucked into it.

You will be drawn into Finn’s adventures and the flam princess.  I loved this when she keep on touching it, then they discover what water does. Lol so funny all they want is love and it just will never happen.  I had a blast watching this with baby boy.  I would suggest this series to everyone.    This series is brought to you by the Cartoon Network.  It was released on October 1st.

  Do you love k-cups?  Our family loves our Keurig and all different kinds of coffee.  This 40 sampler pack from Two Rivers is perfect.  Inside this sampler pack you will get all different brands of coffee, Tea, and hot coco to try out.  They even have 2 mystery k-cups.  You will have no idea what it is until you brew it. 


  Inside our pack we got one that was a toots roll hot coco.  We both fought over this one.  They have a wide range of products in this sampler packs so you will get some of your favorites and discover some new awesome ones at the same time.

Do you want access to limited and hard to find wines?  Then Uncorked Adventures is the way for you to go.  Mark Aselstine and Matt Krause travel to find you the best wines out there.   They have some of the best gift sets and a wine club you are sure to love.  The wines they find are unique and taste great you will not be disappointed.

I have to admit when I got the chance to try this I was very excited I have never had wine before.  (I don’t count the $2 bottle of strawberry hill lol).   These were the perfect ones to start out with, for me they were pretty strong I don’t drink much at all but they both had a fruity taste to them.  I liked the SOLA Chardonnay 2013 the best.  This one is from northern California with rich impressions of floral and apple notes and lightly toasted almonds.  This one sells for around $20.00 a bottle depending on the time of year you are shopping for your wine.   The red wine was also good but I think I would go white all the way.  Whether you are a fine wine lover or just starting out like me and looking for what you love Uncorked Ventures wine club is the perfect way to go.  You get o try a few different kinds and you get a great deal on the wine.

Savannah Bee LipBalm

I have truly fallen in love with Savannah Bee.  They have a great line of body, lip and hair products that I cannot get enough of.   They even have a line of honey that sounds amazing.   When I posted my first review I instantly got a ton of responses about people who have store around them and love them (I am so jealous) but for the rest of us we can buy from online.  They have a very easy website to navigate and they have their whole line of products on there.

The Honey Body Lotion tupelo honey was amazing.  Not only did it smell fantastic a very fresh clean scent.  It was also a nice thick lotion. It soaked right into my skin and left it soft and silky.

I also got the chance to try out a few of their savannah bee Beeswax and propolis lib balms.  I am truly in love with these I got to try the Peach, Sweet Tea, and the Key lime.  I cannot believe that they make a Sweet Tea lip balm I am truly in love.  I drink tea all day long now when I lick my lips its taste just like my drink.  The peach is a fantastic Southern taste and scent like the Sweet Tea.  The Key lime is perfect for a night out on the town.  Cool and refreshing with a slight lets go out and have some fun smell.  No matter which one of these you buy you will love them.  They have a whole collection that you will love and you can get them all for $22.50.  They even have one that matches the lotion above.  You can get the whole collection of scents or match the Tupelo Honey lotion and lip balm.

 

I truly am in love with Savannah Bee Company and would recommend them to everyone.

Manual Can Opener

      Bru Joy Manual Can Tin Opener Review


  When I got to try out this can opener I was so excited.  There is nothing I like better then great kitchen gadgets.  This is the second Bru Joy item I got to try out and I am still very impressed with the quality.  Their products are made to last very durable and work like a dream.  With all the cooking I do I have to have a good can opener, or cooking would become a job and not a fun project.


  This can opener work exactly how it was meant to.  It did not stick at all.  It even cut right threw my messed up cans.  I hate when you get a bent can, and the can opener will not work.  You have to keep on adjusting the opener to get the can open.  This one just went right through without a problem.  It was very easy to turn; I did not struggle at all. 


  I love Bru Joy products and would recommend them to everyone.  If you have a college student or a new home buyer to buy a present for you should defiantly take a look at their products.  They would make a great gift basket for them.

Insulated Lunch Bag Review


When I got the chance to try out this Insulated lunch bag I was so excited. Hubby works at a ski shop in the winter which means time to bring his lunch to work. The one we were using would barely fit a sandwich and a bag of chips. If he wanted something to drink it would be warm during lunch time. We’d started looking into these custom photo bags at this point; they do insulated lunch bags that are big enough to hold a reasonable amount of food, as well as have a picture of something close to your heart printed on the front! However, we were sent the above insulated lunch bag just at the right time! This bag also had an adjustable shoulder strap so whether you have to carry it along with you or just to the car for travel you can carry it with ease. It even has a zipper opening on the front so I can put in utensils and a few extra napkins and he has them right there when he needs them.


This bag was big enough I could fit inside a big enough lunch to keep him satisfied threw out the day and it could hold a few drinks. By the time lunch time came around his food was still cold and he actually had enough to eat. I just threw in an ice pack put a paper towel over it and started loading his food. Nothing got soggy and everything stayed cold. The ice pack is also still frozen when he gets home at night. This bag is also perfect size for traveling. We can fit a few snacks and a few different drinks for everyone in it. I loved this bag and would recommend it to everyone.

  I love subscription boxes, so when I got the chance to check out the fare trade box I was so excited.   Food and a subscription box this one was totally the one for the foodie in me.   This fantastic subscription box is only $65 a month; they will deliver some fantastic foods to your door every month.  You can cancel any time and you will get access to some fantastic recipes and videos from some great chefs. 


  When I opened this box I first noticed that it was packed beautifully.  A lot of care really went into this box.  The foods I got inside were unique and smelled delicious.  I know my sister is going to steal the sea food spices from me.   I love that it also came with a recipe card for each product.  You can try out a great new recipe for everything you got.   Everything that was n this box is fantastic and I am excited to use every single one of them.

Dress Your Style

I am a clothing lover and as for a style I have one.  When I go buy my clothes I do not look at them for something that fits a certain profile I look for something that looks like me.  I cannot tell you how many times I have heard from people “I love that shirt but it’s not my style”.    This has always made me laugh.  If you love the shirt then it is your style.  Style to me refers to what you like not what can be put into a group, i.e. preppy, country and so forth.  I am a girl that will go from a cocktail dress to wranglers to a nice pair of jeans and shirt.  So I tell people my style is Tabby.  Which means my style is me.

I have been the girl who is a size 0 I have been the girl who is a size 16, I have also been the pregnant girl who thought to herself this baby cannot get any bigger or he is pop out of me like that alien in aliens.   So I have been all around when it has been finding a great outfit, what I can tell you is buy for you not them.  Be comfortable in what you ware and who you are.

There are few great brands that I have found that look great no matter what size or shape you are.  If you are looking for some great jeans check out Banana Republic and Ann Taylor.  Try on a few different styles from these I have always found great jeans that make me feel great at these stores.  I know levies are great but try the others out you really will see a difference in them.   Shirts are a little harder to find let’s be honest some company’s make them for bigger chest girls and some company’s make them for no chest girls.  This had always been hard for me.  I have to be honest when I am looking for a great shirt I have found some wonderful ones with INC sold at Macy’s great styles for all different types.

A few things to remember when you are out and about shopping is  If you like the outfit then yes it is your style try it on check it out you might just find something wonderful you would have usually passes up and you will probably look fab.  Next go out of your comfort zone go into that store you usually pass up look in the store you think nothing will fit right.  You will be surprised on what you discover.  My last piece of advice is don’t dress by size.  As we all know one company’s 2 will be another company’s 6 don’t get discouraged by this it’s not you it’s just the way they make the clothes.  It does not mean you are bigger then you thought it just means they make their clothes small.
