Well it’s here and I am sure you have all the same questions as I do? Is Aladdin Live Action as good at the cartoon? Did Will Smith do the Genie Justice? How was the music? Well I am watching right now and excited to answer these questions and more.
Now I was a little put off by all the live actions they announced. I did not think there was a way for them to make them as wonderful as the cartoons. So far, I have been really impressed. They have picked the perfect actors for each one. Mena Massoud is the perfect Aladdin. Good looking a sneaky yet beautiful smile and funny. He is exactly what I pictured when growing up.
To answer the first question. Yes, I love the live action, it really does stand up to the cartoon. The actor’s scenery and so much more are right on target. Their singing voices are fantastic and they truly make the cartoon come to life.
Now on to Will Smith as the Genie I have to say when he first showed up, I was like no way he is not the Genie. Two minutes later I took it all back. He truly did Robin Williams justice. I love Will Smith as the Genie and of course we all love his singing voice so he was the whole package.
The special effects of this movie are awesome I would completely recommend this movie to everyone.

Have you noticed that school lunches are getting harder to make. A lot of schools are now peanut free and they want healthy options of course the news letter wants organic. As most of you know Family movie night is a must in our home. We wait to watch everything till it comes out on DVD. OMG, we have been waiting for The Secret Life of Pets 2. I have always wondered what my baby’s get up to when I am gone and I think this movie has just answered it for me. Of course, I think the cat in our house is the secret hero. Lol We loved number one I think we have watched it 100 times, now I think we will be watching these one 100 times too.
If you have ever wondered what you pets do when you are gone then this is the movie for you. I have 5 pets so far, and I can totally see each one of them doing these things.
We start off with some familiar faces. There is also a new one added to the bunch a cute baby Liam who they are now protecting. Most of the pets now have kids and they are all working to figure out their lives and seem to be talking about them like excited parents. Lol
When Max gets brought to the vet for his anxiety, we meet so many let’s say interesting pets you will be laughing way to hard to hear so rewind and watch again. Max meets a new friend Rooster who helps him get over his fears. When he gets back to the city he will have to use everything he has learned to save a new friend.
Captain Snowball is just too cute for words. This is what I picture my cat doing while I’m gone. I am not going to ruin for anyone but the Tooth Brush part had me laughing so hard. I can totally see my son doing that. Captain Snowball gets called to duty for a secret rescue.
Gidget has to be one of my favorite. I love how she is a fuzzy cuddly dog, but mess with her and you are in trouble. She is now tasked at watching Max’s ball. We all know how much she will do to protect Max so guess what she will do to protect his favorite toy.
They learn a huge lesson in this movie. Life will always change will you go with the change or try and stay the same.
