They say that what a scale says should not make a difference, it’s how you feel that should.  Well let’s all be honest we all want to know what the scale says even if we will not admit it.  So, if you are going to jump on it anyway why not have one that works right every time, and has a sleek design.

I loved that the LCD display was pretty big I did not have to strain to see it.  This scale will tell you pounds and kilograms.  I don’t know why I need to know both but I like to tell people I weigh the kilograms I then get to tell people a smaller number lol.  It even has an alarm you can set so it will remind you to weigh yourself the same time every day.  This might not seem like much, but you will get a better idea if you do it at the same time.  You don’t want to weigh yourself one morning after you have not eaten or drank anything yet.  Then on the next day do it at night when you have been eating and drinking all day. This would not give you a realistic number.  I was very pleased with this scale.

Ozeri has a wide range of great household products that have all been fantastic.  Each one works perfect and are quality products.  If you are looking to up the style in your normal everyday items Ozeri is a must check out.

The new Expo Magnetic markers are awesome.  Not only are the a bigger size for little guys hands, they come with a magnetic so they can stick to our board.  They also have an eraser at the end of the marker so you can quickly erase.  These are fantastic.  I would like to throw out there is you are a home schooling mama make sure to pick these up.

The Duel End Dry Erase Markers were also awesome.  I get a color on one side and black on the other.  It is very easy to switch colors when I am making different notes for different people.

The Sharpie clear View Highlighters were very neat.  I could see when the color was going to run out.  I lived with my highlighters when I was in college.  The different notes and books I had would have been a huge mess if it was not for highlighters.  If you have a grad going to college make sure to pick up a few packs for them before they head out on their new adventure.  The Paper Mate Ink Joy Pens will also be great for taking notes.

Where are my people who love to cook?  Weather you love to cook or it’s just a must in your house the Ozeri Electric Grinder Set is a must in your home.  Not only are they very easy to use, I love that I can use them with one hand.  When I am stirring with one hand I can grab with the other hand and it’s so easy to use.   It grinds perfect and so far, it has never clogged up.    They also have a no slip grip which is awesome.  When my hands are, wet I don’t have to worry about dropping them into the dish.  Which I have done before in the past.  They were easy to clean up.  If something splashed on them just a wet towel cleaned them right up.  They also had a low-level light on them so if I could easily see them when it was darker in the house.

   Who else is excited that our favorite charters are back.  When I saw the Despicable Me movie was coming out me and little guy were so excited.    I was even more excited that I got the chance to give this great coloring book from Insight Editions to my little guy.

   As most kid’s the minions are his favorite and he had such a blast coloring them.  I love that this book gives your kids their own chance to color the favorite charters from the new movie.

   This is a pretty big coloring book.  Your kids will not be done in one day.  They have some really cute pictures to colors.  If you have a Despicable Me fan then the new coloring book is a must.  I loved that it keep my son busy for a little while and gave me a few mommy minutes.

My little Pony

We all know My Little Pony is a great cartoon for our little ones.  I love that they are not only cute but each show teaches our kids a lesson.  My son is not always the best at making friends it’s not that he is mean to anyone, but he is one of those kids that is ok just sitting by himself.  I love that these episodes not only were cute but also helped give him a few tips that were useful in making friends at school and how to keep them.

    Have you checked out Adore Box yet?  I get so excited when this shows up every month.  I get to discover new great beauty products every month for one low price.  Normally for the price of one item I get 5 products.  A lot of them are full size and a few trial sizes to try out.  I love that I am not paying big prices to find products that I will love.

  In this month’s box, I got a beautiful Josie Maran Argan Natural Lip gloss.  It had a beautiful color and went on smoothly.  I loved that it was not sticky at all.  This one is definitely a keeper.  I also go to try the Bioaque Collagen Nourish Lips Membrane.  I had been dying to try these for a while now.  I know for a lot of us besides lip gloss or chap stick we all forget to take care of our lips.

  That’s not all there was more in the box the Dermalogica Active Moist it was a great light weight moisturizer.  It went on smoothly and soaked right into my skin.  I also got a great color of nail polish from Law beauty Essentials.  This box was fantastic and I really did love everything I got to try.

That is right all no more taping 20 episodes on your DVR just to have on hand.  The Octonauts have made it to DVD now you can just put the disk in and leave the room on your DVR for other shows.  I know as a mom of a little one I love when his favorite shows come out on DVD if not I have DVR filled with his shows and I am rushing to watch mine to make room.  Octonauts is a great cartoon that will teach your little one about all the wonders of the ocean.  My son has been a fan since the first episode.  As most moms, I don’t want him to be watching TV all day long, but I also know the need for a little quiet time.  The Octonauts entertains him and I love that he is learning at the same time.  This great DVD comes with 12 rescue missions to keep your kids entertained.

That is right all the Cat In the Hat is back at it again.  This is a childhood favorite for many of us that silly Cat in the Hat is always up to something.  Now you get to go along with the Cat in the Hat on a camping adventure.   I saved this one till little guys last day of school.  In the movie that Cat in the Hat goes on an adventure on the first day of Summer Vacation.   With Nick Sally and the fish all your favorites are along for the adventure.   My son had always loved the Cat in the Hat and this movie was no different.  He loved watching the little cats getting into trouble and the fish who hates to get dirty.  If you are looking for a fun movie for your little ones this summer make sure to grab The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About Camping.

I had no idea what this great kid’s movie was when I got the chance to review it.  When I saw that it was Co-Created by Gwen Stefani I knew it had to be awesome.  My son loves movie with music he can dance to.  When it’s a cartoon that also keeps his attention in between dancing it’s even better.  This is a great cartoon about 5 girls who are in a band, but right before they are about to preform something crazy always happens.  I love that the cartoon is not only written well but the graphics are so cute.  If you have a little one that loves music and adventure this is a great DVD to add to your collection.

The first installment, KUU KUU HARAJUKU: MUSIC, BABY!, contains 14 episodes from Season Oneand will be available on DVD on June 13th 2017. Initial shipments of the DVD contain a code to download the KUU KUU HARAJUKU theme song (while supplies last). KUU KUU HARAJUKU: MUSIC, BABY! is available now for pre-order at Amazon.com and ShoutFactory.com. The 2D-animated series currently airs on Nickelodeon in the U.S. and on Family Channel in Canada.

 

The animated series KUU KUU HARAJUKU follows the fun-filled adventures of the band HJ5 – Love, Angel, Music, Baby and G – through their super kawaii (cute) world of music, fashion and style. The inspiration for this popular animated series came from Grammy® Award-winning musician Stefani who wanted to create an animated series for girls that encourages and celebrates creative self-expression, imagination and individuality.  The show’s setting is inspired by the exuberant street fashion and creative youth culture of the Harajuku district but it takes place in a magical fantasy world like nothing you’ve ever seen before. 

 

G is the lead singer of HJ5. She’s a natural leader and an amazing friend. She’s positive and enthusiastic, and fond of saying “Tick tock, time to rock!” Love is a fashionista, a great dancer, and cute as a button. She’s also a genius who often saves the day with her inventions. Angel is super chic, fun and enthusiastic. This fashionista has 325 pairs of shoes, and even her accessories have accessories! Music has a tough girl attitude, and is brutally honest. She brings a hint of edge and attitude to the group, and is fiercely protective of her friends. Baby sees the kawaii in all things: babies, puppies, rattlesnakes… She sees the good in everything, and also knows how to take care of herself. As G says, “Baby can charm the fire out of a dragon.”

 

Then, there is Rudie Rhodes, HJ5’s well-meaning but semi-incompetent manager. He books the band on all sorts of gigs, and they are happy to play anywhere, but dealing with villains, aliens and general Harajuku weirdness makes it impossible for them to ever finish a concert!

 

KUU KUU HARAJUKU is co-created and produced by Moody Street Kids (Australia), Vision Animation (Malaysia) and Gwen Stefani and commissioned by Network Ten with investment funding from Film Victoria (Australia) and MyCreative Ventures (Malaysia).
