Monster Crunch

Count Chocula, Boo Berry, Franken Berry, Fruit Brute and Fruity Yummy Mummy. Now that I brought your childhood back to you, checking out Monster Crunch is a must. Big G Creative is releasing a new board game title, Monster Crunch! The Breakfast Battle Game and you can only get it at Target.  What does this mean make sure to head there right away and get it before its gone.  This game is so much fun and even funnier if you play while eating your favorite cereal.

So, I had my Count Chocula all ready to go and looked a little closer.  My son had opened it and was all excited he ate most of the marshmallows out of it. That tricky little guy.  Luckily, it’s the time of year I can run out and get some more. Target had all the cereals even a few other goodies and of course Monster Crunch the game.

This is so easy to play

The goal try to eat as much a possible by playing your cards the player with the most eaten at the end of three hands win.

How to start

Each player chooses a monster.

Shuffle your cereal cards

Pick 12 cards from your stack (don’t show anyone)

Every one gets one milk token the rest go in the center

The player who most recently ate a bowl of cereal gets to go first.

What next

Each player will play cards from their hands

You need to put down a card higher or equal to the player before you.

If you don’t have a card then you have to pass.

There are extras you can do.  You can only play one card unless you have a milk token then you can combine cards.

When you can no longer play the players that had to pass get a milk token and cards are placed facedown on the side.  The winner of the round does not get the token.

When a player runs out of cards the hand is over.  You get to keep your milk tokens but not the remaining cards.  Then you start over again from the beginning.

I love that this does not have too many rules.  My son could easily grasp the concept and he loved playing.

If you are looking for a must have for this season this would be my number one.  Head to Target and pick up not only your General Mills Cereal so you can be the first player, but also your Big G Creative Monster Crunch game.

I got this free in exchange for an honest review.
