I got the chance to try there curly hair system and loved it.

My hair is one of those tricky ones it is wavy/curly that if you do not use the right shampoo and conditioner it just turns into a giant frizz ball.  I also dye my hair so I need a good conditioner.  This curly hair set did a great job

The shampoo was not strong smelling but still had a good smell to it.  It lathered good and left my hair feeling clean.

 

The conditioner was great I also use it on my roots and it did not leave my hair feeling greasy.  I also use the hair mask which was great just leave on for 20 minutes while I listen to my book on tape and wash out .   My hair was left feeling soft and still bouncy it keep my wavy hair wavy and when I let it just air dry it did not get frizzy at all.

 

The leave in conditioner was also great I used this when I did not do the hair mask and it did the same for me did not leave it greasy and left my hair bouncy and smooth with no frizz.

 

 

I would recommend this product to any one even if you do not have curly hair it is also great for color treated hair.

I got the chance to try out these great homemade soaps and love them. A great soap that is all natural and does not leave a film.

These are a great homemade soap from Karin who lives in Ohio. These soaps are made with pure Essential oils, herbs, flowers, honey, beeswax and other items. She is a family owned business which also means great customer service.

When I first opened the package I could not believe how good the room instantly smelled. These are some of the best smelling soaps around. I loved them all but of course first used the orange I could not resist it. The whole bathroom smelled so good. This great soap left my shin feeling clean and no layer of film at all. I did not even use lotion after my bath and my skin felt great.

I of course used this review as a great excuse to get a great relaxing bath in every night telling hubby I had to for the review.lol and I enjoyed every minute of everyone. You would not believe the different scents she has everything from baby to one called scallywag check them all out here. Lol which smell fantastic. She also does exfoliates and more.

If you are looking for great natural spa experience this is the company for you not only is it very affordable but also a great company and of course everything id handmade in the USA. One of the other things I love about Abundance soaps is you can buy online. If you are anything like me you have bought before from your local farmers market or store you feel in love with one but when you ran out you could not find them again. With her not a problem at all you can always buy online which is a great plus in my book. I will never have to look for another one I love I can just head online and get it shipped straight to me.

I would recommend this company to everyone I am totally in love. P.S if you are a basket present maker this is one for you great price and a great product to add.

I got the chance to try out a pair on Maui Jim sun glasses and OHHHHH my gosh I love them.

Maui Jim was a company that started off in 1980 by selling their glasses on the beach in Lahaina, Hawaii.  How cool is that what a great was to start a business on the beaches of Hawaii.  Their polarizedplus 2 Technology has revolutionized sunglasses.

 

You all know I am a tropical nut, but did you know my other obsession is sun glasses.  I was so excited that both my obsessions are all in one.  The sun glasses I picked are called Lilikoi in the Amethyst / Maui Rose.  They are a beautiful amethyst color that I love. I am one of those people if I go out into the sun without sunglasses I get a raging headack that will not go away.  Before I was wearing other sunglasses without the polarized lenses and even though they worked everything always looked dark. Believe it or not this was the first pair of polarized sun glass I have ever had and I can personally tell you I will never go back the colors you see are so bright and beautiful with none of the glare.

 

These glasses are a little pricier but so worth the money.  Not only are they the most stylish glasses that I have every owned but they are the best made glasses to.  The designs are beautiful and they have a great design for everyone.  Leave it to a company in Hawaii to make such a beautiful and functional product. The quality of these glasses is just amazing.  My new dream is to go visit them in Hawaii and try on all their beautiful sun glasses.  I will make it there one day.

If you are an outdoor person or just like the glasses for style, these are great for you all.    Not only a great product but as you all know a biggie for me is a great company.  They have such nice sweet people there and I would work with them anytime.

I got the chance to try out the Moroccanoil and loved it.

 

This was a great hair oil that you can use on wet or dry hair that instantly absorbed into my hair leaving it feeling soft and looking silky.   The Moroccanoil is the original used by professionals and beauty greats all over.  I can see why this one is among the leading and the best.  My hair was not greasy at all and gave it a great shine you cannot beat.  So easy to use just put a little on your hand, I rub my hand together so it is not a big clump and use the finger tips to distribute threw my hair.  I used while my hair was wet the first time and worked great the next time I tried on dry hair because once I brush my dry hair I look like a lion lol.  And it helped smooth it down and tame the mane.

This great oil will also help strengthen your hair while getting rid of the frizz and fly aways.   This is a great product for everyone weather you have thicker wavy hair like mine or thinner straight hair you will not be disappointed with this great oil.  They also make body oil which I am dying to try I hear it is just as good and gives you a great glow.  This was a great company to work with I hope to work with them again in the future.

I got to try out the lip-ink try it kit berry color and loved it.

 

This was such a great product to try.  They have a ton of great colors to choose from which is a plus for me I never know what mood I will be in for the day and I usually change my lipstick to match my mood.

This is a product that does not just leave you hanging with just one product they have a whole system to make your lips look great.

Step 1: use the off solution to purify and exfoliate, then pay clean with water and dry

Step 2: Shine moisturizer put small amount on to moisturize lips

Step 3:  Color shake vile wipe off extra and apply, you can apply up to 3 layers to get your desired color and look.

Step 4:  Shine moisturizer this is to give you the last part of the look and some sun protection threw out the day.

The customized kit for all this will be $65.58

The single colors will be $21.99 a great deal for either one of these for a great color and a long lasting color.

 

I know this seems like a lot but really only took about an extra 30 seconds when I started doing it and as you can see the look is great.   When you use this product it will tingle for the first week do not worry this is normal. The lip-ink goes on smooth and does not feel sticky at all I love that.  It is long lasting so I do not have to re apply every few minutes like some of the other lip sticks I have used.

They also have some great programs that will save you money.

  1. For every 4 Regular Lip-ink vials that you return to them you can to pick a Lip-Ink classic color of your choice for free
  2. Their other one you can send in your other “long lasting” lip color and you will receive a free trial size lip kit in a seasonal color

I got my wantable box this week filled with goodies.

 

Wantable is a great subscription company you can subscribe for a makeup box or a jewelry box or you can just buy as you want them .  I had picked the jewelry box to try out.  I have to admit the jewelry I got was no so much my style but they were beautiful pieces.  The not my style part could completely be my fault, as I was filling out the style quiz I did have a screaming 2 year old on my lap and you know how that goes. But if this happens to you not to worry you can send back for another selection I love that about this company.

 

The necklace is a beautiful beaded piece with some great color called Zola

 

 

The bracelet is a stretch bracelet with some beautiful work on it called Candi

 

 

The earrings I will wear quite a bit these are cute gold with adorable birds Great earthy style called Caladonia

 

The ring I got I have to say I love their sizing I have ordered rings before and their ring size was way off this one was perfect. Fleur de Lis

 

This is a great company I would suggest them to everyone.  I love the fact that you can pick to subscribe for just $36.00 or just buy month to month for only $4 more. I also love that if you are not happy with your box you can send it back for another selection. My one suggestion for the company when they are doing the style quiz I would like to be able to pick dislike to all in one category if I would not wear any of them.  They have been a great company to work with and I cannot wait to try a makeup box.

Shiseido Cosmetics and primer

I got the chance to try out some of the Shiseido cosmetics and primer and loved them.

Shiseido cosmetics was started many, many years ago in Japan and has since made its way across the world to become a sensation all around.  This is a great company that not only has some very nice people working with them but also makes a great product.  Their colors and their formula are fantastic.  I was very excited by how well their foundation matched my skin it was a perfect match.

I got the chance to try out the new limited edition compact case, the Perfect Mascara full Definition, the Refining makeup Primer, and the Perfect Refining Foundation.  Which I loved.  They all came with a good amount in them and they were perfect matches.

The Limited Edition Sun Compact was just the cutes thing I have ever seen.  I love the yellow and sun when I pull this out of my purse it looks cute and I have to say the happy yellow sun color brightens my day.  The hardest part about this is keeping it away from baby boy who is obsessed with it. This was so easy to open and close not like some of the others are, you know how those go when you figure out how to open it you are already not interested in using it.

The Perfect Mascara Full Definition in Black.  For me the biggest problem I have with mascara is I do not need lengthening my lashes are already too long I need them to be bold and stand out.  This one was perfect for me it made my lashes pop without giving them too much length. This mascara did not clump on me at all which is a pet peeve for me.  I have been looking for the perfect mascara for years and I have found it with this one.

The Perfect Refining Foundation (color B60).  I cannot tell you how excited I was when this came it was a nice light formula but still gave me great coverage it made my skin look smooth and imperfection free, but did not feel like I was wearing a ton of makeup.  It was a perfect match to my skin before I hit the sun and after.  I was truly impressed with this foundation.  I don’t know why but it truly felt like it was made for my skin and color.

The Refining Makeup Primer.  I used to use another one that I did like and wouldn’t you know it they discontinued it.  I tried forever to find another great one and for most of them they were too thick or really did nothing for me.  This was a light formula that just soaked in and gave me a smooth finish to my face.  A perfect pallet for my makeup to smoothly go on.  I think I have found my new on with this primer.

Shiseido has truly impressed me with not only their makeup I tried but their lipsticks I have tried before see review here.  Their cosmetics are truly a fantastic product.  It is no wonder why they have made such a great name for themselves and become the go to cosmetic for so many people.  I cannot wait to see what they come up with next.

I got the chance to try out Mineral Fusion cosmetics and loved them.

 

I was very excited to find out mineral fusion is based right in my own back yard in Denver.  They are the leading natural cosmetics brand that not only improves your complexion but also nourishes your skin.  It is even great for people with sensitive skin.  They have a range of products that are great for your hair, body and face.  All of their products are made in the USA and most are still handmade.  I was very pleased that when using these products they went on smoothly and were so light.  They gave me great coverage and did not leave me feeling that I was wearing a pound of makeup.

As most of you know I took these on my road trip, and wouldn’t you know it I was on a car trip during the hottest week ever in Vegas history.  Even though I had Air in the car when we got out we had no way to stay out of the sun. I was very excited to see that even after getting out in the 117 temp my face did not melt my makeup looked great threw the whole trip.

I got the chance to try out the Liquid lip gloss (color sensitive), Eye pencil (color Volcanic), Lengthening mascara (color Graphite), Eye shadow trio (color sultry sensual), Blush (color flashy), eye shadow Trio (color espresso gold), Concealer duo (color warm).

The lip gloss was great it went on smooth and did not feel sticky at all.   I was very excited that it was so silky soft and helped moisturize my lips.  Even with the dry Vegas air my lips still felt silky soft and had a tint of color.

The eye pencil was a great color and went on smooth.  I used it for a week straight and still did not have to re sharpen it.  No pushing hard just glided right on for an easy to do eye liner line.

The Mascara is a light formula did not clump on me at all.   If you need to lengthen your eye lashes this is the one for you.  It lengthened my lashed in a nice finished look.

The eye shadow trios were great.  I was impressed not only with the great colors but also they made great travel shadow.  I got three shadows in one container so I did not have to pack 6 different ones.  The shadows keep very clean when I was using them the colors did not leak into each other at all.  I had forgotten my eye shadow brush so I tried this out a few different ways used my finger and got some great color,  used a Q-tip also went on smooth.  Of course the eye shadow brush worked best but if you are like me and forget one it is great to know you can also use this other ways and get a great look.  The color trio’s as you can see also are complimented great with each other.

The Blush is also very light going on but gave me a great glow.  I am blush nut I love the glow look you get from a great blush.  This one will be staying in my collection for a very long time.  Not a hot pink color that leaves you looking like you are sun burnt just a nice rosy look.

The concealer I tried was a life saver.  I have such dark circles under my eye and of course those little imperfections that just drive you nuts.  I love the fact that this had 2 different colors in it.  I could use the lighter one under my eyes to help with the dark circles and the darker one for my imperfections (no need to buy 2 different ones).  I did not feel like I was wearing concealer so my face felt comfortable all day long.  This is another one that will not leave my side.

 

The mineral fusion is a great makeup.  It is Hypo-allergenic and is not only great for the traveler but your everyday use.  It is great to find a makeup that not only helps you look great now but also helps improve your skin as you use it.    As you know I also love a great company with a mission and mineral fusion in one of those great company’s they have partnered up with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

Sibu Buckthorn

Sibu Buckthorn Lotion And Cleanser

I got to try this great Sibu cleanser and lotion and loved it.

Sibu is cruelty free and Vegan.  Sibu is 100% GMO free. Sibu is not only a vegan product for you but they do what they can for the environment too. They use recycled plastic and practices fair trade harvesting in Tibet.  It is always great to find a company that looks out for their customers and the environment as well.   I got to try out the Buckthorn cleanser and lotion these were fantastic.   Buckthorn is a fruit that grows high in the Tibetan Himalayas (12,000 feet above sea level).  They have many products that are made from this great fruit from supplements to cleansers to lotions, and more.

The cleanser I used was fantastic.  The smell of this cleanser is absolutely one of the best, to me it smelled like a burst of clean fruit I have never smelled anything like this.  This was a great cleanser for my combination skin did not dry me out or leave me greasy just a nice clean feeling.  One of the best things about this is there is exfoliating beads right in it so it not only cleaned my face but left me with a nice glow.  Best of all no need for a separate exfoliate if I did not want to.  A great 2 in 1 for me.

The lotion had that same great smell.  It is a lighter lotion so also great for my combination skin. It soaked right into my face with no oily feeling or dry spots after.  They both came in an easy pump container which I love. I cannot tell you how many times I have use the other container and it is so hard to get it closed while you have the lotion in your hand then you end up spilling ½ of it.

 

The lotion and the cleanser are a great combination together, with their great scent and the lighter formula.   I can see how the whole line was made and am dying to try out a few more of their products. With the way the cleanser and lotion smell I bet the supplements tastes fantastic.  This line was made with their customers in mine and you can tell they have keep that in mind as they have created more threw the years.  This product is also a reasonable price see below for link to page for pricing.  Please remember everyone I have heard from a lot of people that they use just soap and water and no lotion.  Taking good care of your skin today will help you feel and look healthier in the future.  A good cleanser and lotion will make a huge difference that not only will you see and feel but others will notice too.

Shiseido Lipstick

Shiseido    Lipstick Perfect Rouge / Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer

I got the chance to try out these great lipsticks from Shiseido and loved them.

When these great lipsticks first showed up the first thing I noticed was the great packaging.  You all know I love pink and these were not only pink but the packaging looked great.  The tube of the lipstick is black with a red tint in it.  The tube is also specially made to fit in your hand to make your lipstick application easier.  The Perfect Rouge is avaible in 20 different colors so everyone is sure to find the one color they cannot live without.  The Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer comes in 6 wonderful different colors.

The first thing I noticed when I opened it up and looked at the lip stick was the great vibrant color.  The next thing I noticed was the tip of the lip stick. It is angled like other lip sticks but it also had a curve in it.  When I went to use it I could tell the difference in the way it went on with the curve, like it was made to fit my lips. These lipsticks were one swipe and done no need to go over your lips over and over. I just used one application and I had the perfect color.  I could feel the moisture in them the minute I put them on.  I love that they are moisturizing no need to use different lip products to get the color and the moisture.

Top Tiger, Middle Dragon, Bottom Foxy

 

The first color I tried was Tiger.  This one had a more orange tint. Great to spice up my lip color.

 

 

The second I tried was dragon.  If you are looking for a great red lipstick this is a must try.

The third I tried was foxy this one is the tender sheer one. It matched my lip color almost perfectly so it gave me a great finish on my lips while still looking natural.

This is a great lipstick line I would suggest to everyone. Went on smooth and keep my lips moisturized.

On the bottom of the lipstick its self is written “TOKYO GINZA SHISEIDO” It is a sign of Shiseido’s confidence that you will love the product, and use it all the way to the very end.
