As you all know I love a great pair of sunglasses, so when I got the chance to try out a pair of red star I was very excited.  I picked a polarized pair and of course I had to go with orange.  I have loved all the great orange colors out there this season and these made a perfect accessory for all my outfits.  I noticed first when they came they had a fantastic case.  I have bough quite a few that never came with a case and they always got scratched in no time.  The glasses themselves were very good quality.  They were not flimsy and the lenses were very clear.  These were a really nice pair of sunglasses.  They are also very easy to find. Lol if you like sports these are the ones for you.  They hug your head so they won’t fall off easily.  I wish I had these when I used to snowboard.  I can’t tell you how many pairs of sunglasses I ruined back then.

White Rabbit and Alba Botanica Hawaiian Facial Scrub

I was so excited when I found the White Rabbit in Half Moon Bay California.   To find a cruelty free beauty store right in my own home town was very exciting.   If you are in the area or want to shop online you are in lucky because they are there to help you.  When I first contacted them about a review they asked about what I would like to review.  I said I am in love with tropical and I have combination skin and she knew exactly what to use right off the bat.  They really know what they are doing.  They have free shipping on all makeup orders in the United States.  You cannot beat that deal.  They are very sweat and a great company to work with.

The Alba Botanica Hawaiian facial scrub that I got to try was fantastic.  You all know I am obsessed with anything tropical and this not only smelled good enough to eat was did wonders for my face.  This is a pore purifying Hypo allergenic Pineapple facial scrub. (Try saying that fast three times).  When I posted a picture of this on instagram I immediately got messages asking about it.  I am happy to report that this facial scrub is fantastic.  I was very happy with this one.  The buffing was very mild, not like a lot of them I have used where it feels like you are scrubbing rocks on your face.  It was a very gently cleanser. The Hawaiian Facial scrub was a great product for my combination skin.  When I say I have combination skin it is not mild I feel like I have places dripping with grease and others as dry as a desert.  So finding a great product for me is hard.  The good news for you all if you have just dry or oily skin at least know you know it works for both.lol This facial cleanser will not only help moisturize but will get all the greasy spots clean and clear.  I was very pleased with this product and will continue to use it.  The lotion sample I got with it was fantastic.  Just like the face scrub it smelled good enough to eat.  It soaked right into my skin and left no greasy feeling at all after.

I was not only very happy with the facial cleanser but White Rabbit was a joy to work with.

As you all know I have come to know and love Ageless derma products and this one was no acceptation.

When I got the chance to try out this eye cream I was very excited.  There are a ton of eye creams out their but I have to be honest for my main problem Dark circles and bags there are not many that work.  Most people say their problem is puffiness. For me it is the bags and dark circles.  I have been asked plenty of times over the years how I got a black eye and I always tell them my 3 year old beats me up lol.  The truth is it’s just the way it is for me.  I am always a little self conscious about it.  But I could tell this was working in the first week.  The circle became lighter and that luggage I carry around with me was starting to disappear. A very simple product to use and worked wonders for me.  I am very excited that without all the bags under my eyes my makeup goes on smoother.

This eye cream is a retinol and vitamin k eye cream for dark circles and puffy eyes.  Very easy to use, Just apply 3 times a week to under your eyes and watch the magic.  A little tip for you all use your ring fingers to apply this help so you don’t use too much pressure when applying eye lotions.  They guarantee their products too so if for any reason you are not happy with your product after 30 days you can always return.  This great eye cream sells for $59.00 and is a great deal for an eye cream that works this good. You all know I love to find great beauty products so when I was sent these samples I was very excited.  Pink Powder Parlor carry’s everything you need to get that special makeup look you need.  The colors of their products are bright and beautiful.  If you are looking for tips on how to apply or get that special look don’t forget to check out their web site they have a whole tab dedicated to tips on helping you get the most out of your makeup look.

 

 

I got their B.B cream in medium to try and the full coverage to try.  The first one I tried was the B.B cream.  This was a very light formula but still gave pretty good coverage.  I love to use B.B cream for light coverage in the summer.  My other time I go to the B.B cream is when I am just running out quick.  I want something light to cover a little but I am not going to be out long so I don’t want to spend a whole lot of time getting ready.  This is a very easy way to get ready quick and still get an overall light finished look.  It is not oily at all and washes right off no scrubbing.

 

The second one I tried was the full coverage.  This one was a thicker formula and when they say full coverage they mean it.  After putting it on as you can see no imperfections at all showed up on my face.  It gave me a nice smooth finish and a very clean palate to work with.  This is a fantastic product to use when you are planning to go out or really want to make an impression.   When using this it gave me a chance to really play with the eye makeup and lipstick.  The full coverage made it so it was a nice clean surface to work with. The flawless skin look made it so my eyes and lips really popped they were no distractions from it.  This is a thicker foundation so it really covered.  With this one I used the clean your face twice to get it off concept.  Due to it being thicker the first time was to get the makeup off the second to clean the skin.   No worries all, this one did not leave my face greasy.  Best of all unlike a lot of full coverage makeup even in the heat this one did not melt off.  So you can spend your night not worrying about your face melting.

I got the chance to try this great Garlic collection and loved it.

I was very excited to try out this new collection as you all know I am always looking for a great hair product and this one is right up there with the best.  As you can see from the pictures below my hair looked better and better the more I used it.  With their great system they had a Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair mask and a leave in hair treatment.  I used all of these for over a month and each time I used it I was very impressed on how much better my hair looked from one treatment to the other.   Now I know what you are thinking I was thinking the same thing. No it does not smell like garlic it smells like fresh flowers.  I loved them smell of this set.  But you will still get all the great benefits of the garlic.  It was a very easy system to use and left my hair feeling and looking better every time I used it.

New Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash Review

I got the chance to try the new Dial body wash and love it.

One of the worse things about living in Colorado is how dry my skin gets during the winter.  It seemed like no matter how much lotion I use my skin is always so dry.  When I got the chance to try out the vitamin boost body wash I was so excited.  This great body wash left my skin feeling better and better after each shower.  I could tell instantly after the first shower that my skin was left feeling more moisturized and softer.  I am so used to the soaps that leave your skin dry that it took me a few minutes to realize that it was the body wash that had helped me.  Every time I used this body wash it got better and better.  The smell was fantastic it was light and crisp and smelled clean.  You get a good amount in the bottle so it will last you for quite a long time.   When you are looking for a new body was make sure to check this one out, you will not be disappointed.

Dial makes a wide range of products from soap to lotions that will all help your skin feeling soft and clean.  I liked that this particular soap gives your skin a daily boost of vitamins and a moisturizing vitamin complex.  This is a very affordable product that you can find at your local grocery store.  They make body wash and hand soap and they have more than one scent so you are sure to find one that you will love.

I got the chance to try out the coolway true smooth and I was truly amazed.   I have to say I was very skeptical when I first got it.  A spray that not only helps you dry your hair faster but also leaved it looking like I had just straight ironed it.   This would be very exciting for me if it worked.  I have the kind of hair if I just blow dry it; it is nice and straight but very frizzy.  If I flat iron it, it is flat and nobody at all.  So I took my bath and gave it a try 40 sprays and off to blow drying it.

  Came out smooth and shinny.

If you are anything like me you basically live in your slippers when you are home.  My biggest problem for this is finding some that I can wear in the summer that are comfy and don’t make my feet too warm.  When I got the chance to try out these slippers I was so excited.   A nice comfy pair of open toed slippers in purple.  I am one happy girl.  When I got them in the mail first thing I noticed is how puffy and comfy they looked.  The color purple was a nice light color so they were not too bright.  I slipped them on and yes they were just as comfy as they looked.  They have a nice sole on them so I did not have to worry about going outside on the deck with them.  I brought them on my road trip to California with me and they were perfect.  It was about 80 degrees there and my feet did not swet at all.   They were also compact enough to not take up to much room in my bag.

These great slippers are made with natures sleep next generation memory foam.  Yes they are a snuggly soft as they sound like they are.  They will distribute your weight to reduce pressure points and improve circulation. I have to be honest here it has been years sense I used an eyelash curler. My friends have told me to use Xlash to enhance my lashes but I haven’t tried that either. In the past I have bought tones of them and every single one had problems. Either they would pull out my eye lashes, or it would be weird to hold I could never get the angle right, or the little cushion part would keep on falling out, or they just would not curl. As I have said before a lot of the other ones I have bought the cushions would fall off and then the lash curler was worth less I just had to throw away. When I first got this one the cushion was falling off but I pushed it down and it has worked perfect ever since. To use this lash curler is very simple and the one thing I learned from reading the box that I never new is you are meant to use it before the mascara. Yes I have been doing this wrong all these years. But hey you learn something new every day. This was a very easy to use eyelash curler and it worked perfect.
