The New Mutants Movie Review

I don’t really want to give anything away with The New Mutants but so much happened.  We get to see another side of the mutant world with this movie.  Plus a few new great powers.  As normal these teens were found after their powers came about, most of them something very tragic happened after they first got their powers.  Now we are not going to get to see the X-Men in this one.  We are meeting a whole new set of charters and I love them all.

This movie was filmed dark.  I would suggest to watch it at night.  Any glare at all will make you miss a lot of the fighting scenes. When I first meet these mutants I was wondering if any of them really even had what it takes to be part of he best mutant’s in the world.  By the end we see some power that is almost unmatched.  I know this movie got a little slack for not following the time line, but I truly loved it.  I have a few new powers I am putting on my what if list.

Who else loves the Croods?  It has been one of my favorite movies and cartoon family’s for years.  I am so excited that Croods A New Age is coming out.  When I saw the previews I ran to hubby to let him know the Croods were back and this time they meet a new family.  I can not wit to see what they get themselves into this time.  The Croods will be released Wednesday, November 25th .

Synopsis:  The Croods have survived their fair share of dangers and disasters, from fanged prehistoric beasts to surviving the end of the world, but now they will face their biggest challenge of all: another family.  The Croods need a new place to live. So, the first prehistoric family sets off into the world in search of a safer place to call home. When they discover an idyllic walled-in paradise that meets all their needs, they think their problems are solved … except for one thing. Another family already lives there: the Bettermans. The Bettermans (emphasis on the “better”)—with their elaborate tree house, amazing inventions and irrigated acres of fresh produce—are a couple of steps above the Croods on the evolutionary ladder. When they take the Croods in as the world’s first houseguests, it isn’t long before tensions escalate between the cave family and the modern family. Just when all seems lost, a new threat will propel both families on an epic adventure outside the safety of the wall, one that will force them to embrace their differences, draw strength from each other and forge a future together.

Rick And Morty Season 4 and Funko Pop

When we first got the Rick and Morty dvd and funko pop I ran to tell Dylan.  I did not know if he has seen it before and wanted to watch it with him.  Of course little did I know he was already a huge fan.  He loves that he has the DVD now and can watch it at any time.  The Funko Pop has made a great addition to our collection.  You can get your own copy of the Rick and Morty DVD next week.  Don’t miss out. Tim Burton’s classic dark comedy Beetlejuice (1988) is available now on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack for $24.99 (expected retail price), from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The release features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with the feature film in 4K with HDR, a Blu-ray disc with the feature film and special features in HD, and a Digital HD* version of the feature film. Fans can also own the film in 4K Ultra HD via purchase from select digital retailers.

Hellmouth Pins

Where are my fellow Buffy lovers?  Have you gotten your Hellmouth Pins yet?  If not they are a must for any Buffy lover.  They are cute and the quality is amazing.  They have a few different pins to choose from all any Buffy lover would love.  They are a very reasonable price so you can get a few for your collection.  It is so hard to find great Buffy collectables these days, but Hellmouth Pins is one of my favorite in my collection.

Get ready to take defense against the dark arts and so much more with Loot crates Wizarding World.  I have been collection Harry Potter for years and I can tell you Loot Crate has some of the best collectables you will not find anywhere else.  The Dark Arts Crate was amazing and I can not wait to wear my new shirt.  I love that they now have long sleeve shirts for the winter. Disney+ shared the trailer and key art for the “LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special,” which premieres Tuesday, November 17 on the streaming service. The new animated special from LEGO is the first to debut on Disney+ and continues the rich legacy of collaboration between Lucasfilm and LEGO.  

 

 

“LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special” brings back franchise stars Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) and Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), as well as “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” vets Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Tom Kane (Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Dee Bradley Baker (clone troopers).

The special is a production of Atomic Cartoons, the LEGO Group, and Lucasfilm. It is directed by Ken Cunningham and written by David Shayne, who is also co-executive producer. James Waugh, Josh Rimes, Jason Cosler, Jacqui Lopez, Jill Wilfert and Keith Malone are executive producers.
