Glam Runner
I passed by this wonderful charity and girls when scrolling threw facebook and saw a picture of a tutu that I just fell in love with. It made me take a closer look and I was just amazed at these wonderful women, and the work they are doing. Tara and Monika founded Glam Runner in 2011 as a way to bring more fun and GLAM to running while raising money for Girls on the Run of San Diego. As you all know I am a tutu lover and I love that these are created to make girls feel glamorous while running and the money goes to a great cause.
As they are not taking any order right now they are asking for your support straight to girls on the run. “Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.”find out more here. This is not only an inspiring thing these ladies are doing but a fantastic thing for a charity near and dear to their heart.
