The Not So Very Merry Pout-Pout Fish
My little guy loves when we get a new book. We will read the story together and when the pictures are good he loves to point out and tell me the story from the pictures. The pictures in this book were not only fantastic but right on with the story.
I love a cute book for my little guy, but what I love even more is a book that has a lesson for him along the way. I know this is a kid’s book but it even threw me a little. Looking at the title I would think it was like a Grinch fish. I was surprised to find out he was not bah humbug at all. He just was not merry because he could not find the best present for his friends. You will go along an adventure with him trying to find the biggest and best gifts. A friend points out that the best gifts for the holidays is himself. He makes gifts for his friends and they are all a big hit. The best gifts for the holidays are the ones that come from the heart.
This book is such a great way to help teach your kids about the true meaning of the holidays. I am so excited we have added it to our collection.
They have quite a few different Pout-Pout fish books out. I am going to make sure I check out the whole collection for my little guy.
