Pregnancy can be hard on woman for a lot of reasons. When I was pregnant with my first little one I was the envy of all the other pregnant woman around. Why you ask, well let me tell you all. I had no morning sickness, I gained the lower recommended weight and it was all around a perfect 9 months. You had never seen a happier pregnant woman. It was the most perfect time in my life. Now you want to know why you should not curse me under your breath, I’ll tell you.
My next pregnancy the pregnancy gods got even. I was sick for the whole nine months, there was no first three month for me. The weight gain was about the same, but this time I think it’s because I spent most of my time nauseas. I was sore, sick and pretty much miserable the whole time. Don’t get me wrong the end result was worth every minute of it, but boy was I miserable.
Back then they had a few candy’s you could suck on to help, but for me it did not help too much. I was so sick just opening one would make my stomach turn. After I got it in my mouth it was a little better but still not good. Now they have Sea-Band. This is going to revolutionize the pregnancy world. Not only do they have stuff you can suck on, chew or spray they also have one you can just wear. This is a game changer. For those wonder well how do I know it works. No, I am not pregnant now but I did get a chance to try it.
Last month I had surgery and was on pain killers. I am one of those people that pain killers help the pain, but I am sick as can be. So, I slipped on my Sea-Band and yes it did help. It actually helped enough that I could eat and go about my regular day. My head was not stuck in the toilet. I am convinced. If you know a mommy to be make sure to pick up a few of these. She will be thanking you for the rest of her pregnancy. If you get travel sickness, sick from pills or any other reason make sure to keep these in your medicine cabinet.
